All the japanese products, you showed, are actually meant to be emergance food rations. Since japan is a high risk earthquake region, you actually need food that you can store for many years, and that you can eat straight away or by just putting in cold water.

@@azranatasha You could see some of the clips are from different countries. If it has Yen currency then it's bought in Japan, there's also others currencies such as Thai Baht and Malaysian Ringgit. Although yes, Singapore has a big market for international cuisines.

Perhaps you should try some food in either London or in Hull someday, they have some great Fish and Chips in Britian
And have a trip up to Scotland while they're at it! I feel DB would enjoy trying haggis, neeps and tatties! Though personally I'm not a fan of haggis myself, I'll stick with mince and tatties instead!

Used to be able to get similar 8 minute mama brand 'handi rice' instant thai curry rice in London Chinatown and they were so good! green curry with fish flakes and red curry with small shrimp. Sadly can't find them any more

some of those self heating meals that already include water will be a lifesaver especially if it has like a minimum of 5 year self life.

9:15. The Malaysian chicken fried rice and the Tuna Mayo Kimbad maybe enough for a meal. All others, I’ll have to eat several of them.
Just found out recently when I bought a couple of self heat pots of noodles that when you use them they give off carbon monoxide.
We've a carbon monoxide alarm in our home and each time I did them it went of so the used pack was very quickly dispensed to the external bin.

Seeing the gamer's rice meal reminded me of a meal I had a month ago. To keep this short, I was flying back from a trip abroad with an airline which, rather that serving standard airline meals to passengers, offered a range of foods that were similar to Cup Noodles and such. As I'd had an early morning start, and needed to take medication with food, I purchased one of these meals, something called 'chilli sin carne', a vegan friendly cup meal that included soya protein pieces, kidney beans and other veg in a spicy chilli sauce.
Though it was a little too spicy for me, on the whole, it wasn't a bad meal. It certainly filled a void in my stomach with something that didn't taste too bad, allowing me to take the necessary medication, and kept me going until I got home and could rain the larder. Though it is very likely I will never encounter it again, if I do, I would eat it if offered it!
