@@AlexisStreams rockstar should really learn to stop doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over again, expecting things to be different.
professional has certain responsibilities in his life, but one of them shouldn't be having to deal with T2/rockstar pulling a scumbag move and copyright claiming this video for no reason other than "they made it". if they don't want people to react to their introduction video, that's totally fine and understandable, but professional is only showing certain parts of the intro in order to prove the point of the video further.
it is an informative video that helps answer questions, makes people think and learn and out of the many, many videos on youtube, these lore videos are a great edition to the platform as a whole. there are also plenty of other videos that deserve to be copyright claimed, demonetized, and copyright striked before this video ever does. and this video doesn't deserve it, nor do any of the other lore videos.

You know, if they're releasing it, then it might be something automatically flagging your video. The copyright exists but if it were manually added by them, then they wouldn't have released it...I used to manage an youtube channel a long time ago and I usually would face the same problems (with Viacom, Nickelodeon, SCE, etc) as soon as the video would get uploaded, it would get a copyright claim. It's an automatic process. Hope you get rid of all claims Patrick, it is really ridiculous they have to copyright a cutscene though...Good luck man! EDIT: IIRC, if a human verifies the claims, it'll say it was manually reviewed, otherwise it was a ''bot'' who did it automatically, and it's kinda easy for it to fail to verify properly because it'll detect the copyrighted material and just flag it despite the context it's being used at. They really shouldn't have copyrighted that cutscene in general, especially if they're using some youtube bot to manage their claims rather humans who'd take context into consideration. Sorry for long text/comment xD And good luck again man!
It will be lifted automatically.
Now the brands are the ones that have to prove ownership of the content, but is a legal process that is usually not worth it.

Sorry this is happening to you Patrick. It sucks Rockstar's doing this. My theory is that maybe the introduction is auto flagged in the content ID system so no matter how much of it you use, it could be picking it up. Just my guess though. Rockstar: "Don't talk about or look at our games. There, that'll get the kids interested in buying our games."
copyright is seriously so annoying though, and I sense whenever these companies see somebody use their stuff for like a minute or so, maybe a few minutes out of an entire hour long video, they always sit there on their lazy asses behind a desk on a computer then giggle then press the claim copyright button on other channels without a single care in the world.
now there would be a different argument for those that basically do a glorified reuploading of a video or a form of media, aka reactions, but it doesn't make sense to destroy a channel's career over a ten second clip or a minute clip if it makes the video as a whole better.
even without monetization, copyrighted material still annoys the absolute hell out of me when I make videos because sometimes a copyrighted song plays during my gameplay. sometimes I am able to fix it by just removing the sound for that specific part, but other times for some strange reason when I get rid of the copyrighted sound, youtube tells me "oh wait actually there's two more" so I just say screw it and remove the sound entirely to avoid issues. I absolutely refuse to have the restrictions category say "copyright" on any of my videos because I simply consider it as potential leverage against me in the future.
but I get that not everyone has that luxury, some people do need to play certain clips to prove a point and sometimes those clips happened to be copyrighted, and sometimes the people like take two or rockstar or whatever else always ends up claiming the entire video for a small percentage of the video that happened to play the copyrighted segment.
but don't worry, most claims are usually lifted eventually due to the nature of these things, because the alternative costs quite a bit for all involved because court stuff. hell, reaction channels entire purpose is simply reuploading the original video/form of media but adding themselves to it on their own channel, and they almost always get away with copyright claims and copyright strikes, and they get to keep their monetization too.
I wish you the best out of this situation and hope rockstar and take two eventually collapse under its own weight, (but not before gta 6 comes out though, that is the most hyped game of the century so it must come out)
This is not just an automatic function of copyright strikes. Some subscriber(s) or at least regular viewer(s) might just actually hate him and are only there for the videos to submit copyright claims.
Funny you mention that cuz some of those alphabet reprobates have been flagging down a lot of videos for some time now

That SpongeBob intro made me laugh but the situation itself is so stupid. This is just ridiculous. Damn you Rockstar and Take Two.
When Rockstar ever gonna stop And why can't they get that through their thick skulls?
@theprofessional155 - I think that copyright attack is just automatic prompt. They write a code to the system (maybe to UA-cam Studio, about when someone uses their video or product) and if someone makes a video using their products, the program automatically puts claim on it. So I think, there is not any person behind this, it is a computer code that written by the Rockstar or Take2. Even we can make it for ourselves. If someone without permission uses our video or a simple scene, it notifies us.
Just to say, nine times out of ten, when a video is copyright claimed by a corporation or some other kind of global entity, it is almost always going through an automated system. Record Labels, for example, have automated systems that scrub UA-cam for digital sound and meta data. If it matches something in their catalog, it gets striked. So, while I understand the frustration, it's not like someone is just sitting at a desk, manually going through UA-cam videos. It's incredibly likely that not a single soul at Rockstar or Take Two saw your video, until it came through disputes. That would explain why it normally gets lifted (when an actual human reviews it). But...point is, is that it is likely going through an automated system and, yes, that system is going to flag your video each and every time you use that claimed video.

@zigibisevac That was the first thing that came to my mind. Pro actually grinded gta online to a billion dollars in gta online, so R* copyright pro's videos to get their cut in shark cards revenues
The most ridiculous thing about this is that they put out those remasters of the GTA 3D era GTA games. This is free advertising for a product that they supposedly *want to sell*, and all they have to do is let it happen.

The weirdest part is that its only this one cutscene that's from a franchise that's as big as GTA
Using the Introduction cutscene in these lore videos is fair use because it's transformative. R*/T2 needs to know what "fair use" is.
You can tell the introduction cutscene showcase specific things you are using in your analysis, of course it makes it more interesting to see the cutscene itself than you telling it but it is an option to avoid the claims.
Otherwise possible you would have to be ready with the video in advanced thereby you can release it in time for what you have promised to fans and sponsors. Possible the video could be available for patreons/members so they can watch it until you release it publicly (so people can be satisfied with a new video but then also avoid loss in revenue from ads/premium viewers).
Another issue with the video being copyright claimed and unmonitized is it isn’t pushed out as much without it so your total views would be lower.
