This is just sad. Any other game, the devs would at least ban players who exploit game breaking glitches like that. The fact that this kind of stuff has been happening since 2013 is insane.
I think the difference between free aim lobbies and auto aim lobbies is not maturity level, but more that auto is the default. This means you have to consciously change the setting, which means you need some level of aptitude. This makes finding casuals and noobs much more common in auto lobbies. I used to switch back and forth during the bounty money glitch and see such a big difference in player base
Personally I have found even WORSE greifers in free-aim lobbies. Their skill exceeds standard aim-assist lobbies and they can greif players even more. Usually their ranks are much higher. I typically do find much more grinders in these lobbies, though.

Harmless clothing or fun glitches like launch glitches or simple quality of life glitches, patched instantly. God mode glitches and money glitches half assed patches or not even patching right away. Always something with rockstar. Seems like they don’t want us to have fun except for the god mode and money glitchers.
As I said long ago ever since R* saw the first Shard Card sales it was instant addiction. It became all they cared about. Throughout online's lifespan there were gradual increases in scummy tactics and server managing. Even supporting greifers because they drum up card sales. All decent personnel are long gone and all that's left are the worst greedy scum imaginable.

The fact that they had more money glitches patch than focusing on just god mode shows not only their priorities, but also how incompetent they are. God mode should have been the main and only priority here, not money glitches. With God mode, there won't even be players left to money glitch.
Agreed 100% Remove the problematic vehicles in the game until the bugs are worked out. It would make sense to start on one vehicle and focus on that one vehicle at a time until it is resolved and then re-release it into the game, then go back to the list of vehicles that are bugged and work out the kinks. Etc. Etc.

I haven’t logged in in over a month. I used to sign in every single week from the day this game got released up until the end of last year. This drip feed was the last straw for me, I’ll sign in when the new garage gets released.

The easiest way to fix god mode forever is to put in a program that reads the amout of damage your character taking and if your health isn't dropping then it just insta kills you or kicks you from the session.
Sometimes I'm glad I don't have PS Plus, don't gotta deal with Rockstar's bullshit every week, whether it be glitches or stretching dripfeed so bad our tongues are sand
I recently followed a UA-cam tutorial for God Mode on GTA Online PS5 and it worked. I did it just to testing purposes and this was 3 days ago. Rockstar does not care unless their money flow stops.

No because people can vote to kick just because they want to, they may think your a griefer even though you never griefed anyone, or if you piss off some loser and they get their loser friends to mass kick you. There's too many nuances for them to ban you for a kick. I'v been kicked 7 to 8 time just for minding my own business, and I have yet to be banned.

In all honesty, I've never encountered a God Mode Griefer in all of my years of playing GTA online. For those wondering, I started playing GTA Online in late 2017 or early 2018. But in those years, I've heard of God Mode Griefers but never encountered one, until recently. I really hope this gets patched eventually, but honestly, I have no more faith in Rockstar. I mean they're not the company I grew up with, and I've played their games since 2008 when GTA 4 came out. But now they’re one of the worst video game companies ever. I don't even know what's the worst thing they've done; GTA+, abandoning RDO, GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, or this nonsense.

My thing is this, If Rockstar can’t fix the godmode glitches, or have it be patched, either (like you just said) remove the Vehicles or features out of the game and fix it, or start banning players who do it. They should make the Report System a lot more useful when players are given the option to report people who do exploits like these. It is superly frustrating.

Theres a other problem that i don't know if its happening on the consoles but it be happening on ps5 that my gta online won't open cuz it says connecting no connection servers down and when i look up the problem on youtube everybody has the same problem but to me it happened on february first and now its still not working my wifi only works for my spotify and other games not works for gta online i don't know whats going on

I would still try it and hope they don’t have ragdoll on, though.

You can put you in passive mode, use a choper with cannon and chase the godmoder. They usally leave the session cause they are bored of the screen shaking.

You can't remove something from the game if players spend real money on them. So based on what you said about removing them until they can get fixed, it won't be an option. You'll need to find a new session or start an invite-only lobby.
@The Professional I think it’s very likely that these players aren’t all using god mode glitches from missions, etc but rather using MOD MENUS. Mod menus can activate zero damage (or adjustable damage) to ANY vehicle as well as the player’s character, rendering you INVINCIBLE. There’s also No rag doll options. There are so many options in the very good paid mod menus. You would be very surprised. For this reason, I don’t play in public lobbies unless I want to engage in the crazy antics. So it’s totally possible that the majority of these idiots are simply using paid mod menus to troll lobbies.
To add to what I said earlier. Rockstar could easily and permanently stop all mod menus by simply utilizing a secure signature for the R* official in-game menu and any other menu that didn’t have the official matching signature simply would not work. For example: smartphone manufacturers like Samsung have integrated firmware called bootloaders that have a hard coded secure signature that cannot be extracted or reverse engineered nor bypassed. This makes it virtually impossible for amateur developers or “hackers” to flash custom ROM’s, kernels or modified system files onto the devices because the software used to flash these smartphones cannot access or interface with the devices let alone write to the devices because it’s not official Samsung firmware. The boot loader checks for the official signature of the firmware and fails if it doesn’t match what the boot loader identifies as official. Rockstar could add this type of security and render ALL mod menus useless forever. Fact.

Auto shop merge is to make "modded cars" like f1 wheels and Benny's wheels for example on non f1/Benny's cars so basically an outfit glitch for cars

The easiest way to fix god mode forever is to put in a program that reads the amout of damage your character taking and if your health isn't dropping then it just insta kills you or kicks you from the session.
Sometimes I'm glad I don't have PS Plus, don't gotta deal with Rockstar's bullshit every week, whether it be glitches or stretching dripfeed so bad our tongues are sand

I recently followed a UA-cam tutorial for God Mode on GTA Online PS5 and it worked. I did it just to testing purposes and this was 3 days ago. Rockstar does not care unless their money flow stops.

Presumably yes. The system is probably automated. On PC Cheaters are getting removed from sessions at least, the game displays a message - I don't know if this means they have been put in Bad Sport as well.
No because people can vote to kick just because they want to, they may think your a griefer even though you never griefed anyone, or if you piss off some loser and they get their loser friends to mass kick you. There's too many nuances for them to ban you for a kick. I'v been kicked 7 to 8 time just for minding my own business, and I have yet to be banned.

In all honesty, I've never encountered a God Mode Griefer in all of my years of playing GTA online. For those wondering, I started playing GTA Online in late 2017 or early 2018. But in those years, I've heard of God Mode Griefers but never encountered one, until recently. I really hope this gets patched eventually, but honestly, I have no more faith in Rockstar. I mean they're not the company I grew up with, and I've played their games since 2008 when GTA 4 came out. But now they’re one of the worst video game companies ever. I don't even know what's the worst thing they've done; GTA+, abandoning RDO, GTA Trilogy Definitive Edition, or this nonsense.

Ya, these kinds of people why I now always spend most of my time on single player games I don't play GTA online much anymore because of how R* prematurely ruined their reputation. My thing is this, If Rockstar can’t fix the godmode glitches, or have it be patched, either (like you just said) remove the Vehicles or features out of the game and fix it, or start banning players who do it. They should make the Report System a lot more useful when players are given the option to report people who do exploits like these. It is superly frustrating.

3. Crush them and stay on top of them until they die

But Yes, I agree with you. Frustrating how public sessions became literally unplayable on consoles, only by this simple godmode glitch.
Edit: despite this method being effective, if the godmode glitch is also combined with the no ragdoll glitch, it won’t help much since the players will always get back up the moment you hit them. I would still try it and hope they don’t have ragdoll on, though.
Just so you know your method won't work if someone using no ragdoll glitch.

You can put you in passive mode, use a choper with cannon and chase the godmoder. They usally leave the session cause they are bored of the screen shaking.

You can't remove something from the game if players spend real money on them. So based on what you said about removing them until they can get fixed, it won't be an option. You'll need to find a new session or start an invite-only lobby.

I think it’s very likely that these players aren’t all using god mode glitches from missions, etc but rather using MOD MENUS. Mod menus can activate zero damage (or adjustable damage) to ANY vehicle as well as the player’s character, rendering you INVINCIBLE. There’s also No rag doll options. There are so many options in the very good paid mod menus. You would be very surprised. For this reason, I don’t play in public lobbies unless I want to engage in the crazy antics. So it’s totally possible that the majority of these idiots are simply using paid mod menus to troll lobbies.
To add to what I said earlier. Rockstar could easily and permanently stop all mod menus by simply utilizing a secure signature for the R* official in-game menu and any other menu that didn’t have the official matching signature simply would not work. For example: smartphone manufacturers like Samsung have integrated firmware called bootloaders that have a hard coded secure signature that cannot be extracted or reverse engineered nor bypassed. This makes it virtually impossible for amateur developers or “hackers” to flash custom ROM’s, kernels or modified system files onto the devices because the software used to flash these smartphones cannot access or interface with the devices let alone write to the devices because it’s not official Samsung firmware. The boot loader checks for the official signature of the firmware and fails if it doesn’t match what the boot loader identifies as official.
Rockstar could add this type of security and render ALL mod menus useless forever. Fact.
