Darko Grncarov had it all. Fame. Wealth. Insane Tennis Talent. Unbelievably, Darko was even on the cusp of an extraordinary professional tennis comeback after suffering a stroke induced coma. He had loyal fans, media outlets, and famous celebrities cheering his every move.
Behind the spectacle however, the stories, the diehard Darko fans, everything… was nothing. None of it was true, and in the today’s day and age where anyone can seemingly reinvent themselves overnight, a kid named Darko Grncarov managed to convince the world he was tennis’ next superstar… with nothing but a laptop.
    Sources:
Due to much of the original press and public information on Darko having since been deleted, redacted, and privated, a considerable amount of this story’s journalism came from Ben Rothenberg’s original article. Check it out: slate.com/culture/2018/02/how...

This is the result of living in a completely fake and futile society, where the image you project is what matters and if you create the perception that you are a tennis prodigy, people will believe and act accordingly without you having to show them your tennis skills a single time.
