same, sounded like it was dying lol and struggled to play chords with keys together, they would cancel eachother out lol, and to turn it up too high would distort the speakers haha
Which is what I did :) just found it in one of the bins outside work all in 1 piece and was working so I thought that I might as well take it home with me, would be silly of me not to considering it was all working :) a nice little freebie!
12:17 that tune (albeit slightly faster in the episode) is the exact backing that is played with “here comes the bride” when Homer and Marge get married in Shotgun Petes wedding chapel in The Simpson’s 😅👍👍👍
One3rdNinja ahh yes I do remember that episode when they get married and had this rhythm playing in the background, I also think that the brass sound (the first sound) was used in some parts of the angry dad episode as well
Wow, its awesome that you managed to save it from the bin. This was my first keyboard when I was only 4. I remember most of the demo songs and rhythms haha!! Can you play David Lee Roth's version of California Girls with that rhythm at 11:41? Sounds like the tune
Used to have one of these when I was 3! I used to love pressing that solo button, I really want one now to bring back the old days! I loved your renditions of smoke on the water and the Nutcracker.
@lcq92 I found this keyboard in one of the bins at the back of my workplace all in 1 piece so I basically got it for free, I am not too sure what the value of it is now, it all varies on how much sellers want to sell it for. Hope this helps
Thank you for your comment! Hope you are having fun with your PSR-3, yes it is ok to learn on this keyboard, it is a nice learner instrument without the technical specs, just a bunch of sounds, some rhythm styles and some demo songs so it is a nice easy instrument to learn on. Thanks for watching!
@@KeyboardKrazy49 Thank you for replying i am going to have a go and learn to play i have a books to learn and want to learn to play. You are very good. Its a shame you don't take lessons on line
does it work with just batteries? found on of these in our local thrift store. got it for 10 dollars. I don't have a power cord so I was wondering if batteries would work
@francaisemusique if you were talking about the song I played before I selected a different instrument at 6:16, the song I was playing was Jump by Van Halen and I was using a sound called "Brass 1" Thanks for watching!
Hi, I would like to clarify a question if I can (I'm kind of a noob in this particular area). Since it does not have MIDI it's impossible to use it to play MIDI in a program like Ableton? If I connect it to a PC nothing happens? Thank you very much
This keyboard doesnt have MIDI so you cant use it to play any sort of MIDI etc, only way to do it if this helps is to connect another keyboard with MIDI and maybe use the PSR-3 to play along to it with no connections as there wouldnt be any. Hope this helps :)
+KeyboardKrazy49 I'm curious though. If I use the aux out on the yamaha psr3 and plug it onto an M-audio axiom 25 midi controller aux in, then plug the axiom 25 into my computer, can I use them in tandem?
Hello, if you look on the top left of this video you will see that it has a power cord connected and you can get them on ebay or in a music shop. Hope that helps :)
All voices are good on this keyboard accept from the piano sound and timpani. They don’t sound authentic. However the Harp Voice sounds perfect!!! Defo my favourite voice on there!!!
Thank you for your comment! Yes I know what you mean, not all sounds are going to be great because the sound technology is FM (Frequency Modulation) but some of the sounds are great such as the harp sound you mentioned along with some other sounds too, I think some of the brass sounds are good too! Thanks for watching!
@@KeyboardKrazy49 Does your keyboard have an amp feedback sound? I recently bought this keyboard back and it kind of has that on mine. Not sure if it's supposed to do that. Thank you
@@Nickypink09 No I can't say that my keyboard experienced an amp feedback sounds as there is no effects on this keyboard, it could possibly be a fault or similar
Depending on where you are from, you can also try out eBay, but sellers want different prices for them, I was lucky to have got mine for free as I have found it inside one of our bins outside my workplace all in one piece
the harp sound alone makes this worth purchase. thanks for posting this, really useful stuff for online shoppers like me!
Not gonna lie, when you played the intro to ‘Jump’ I actually started to get hyped 😅👍

I got a Yamaha PSR.3 earlier this year and i just wondered if it was ok to learn on this as i have not got the room for a bigger organ.

How do you layer the sounds and how do I select a pre set song?
Would anyone know where I could get the original song book from?
I got one in perfect condition today at a yard sale for $30.

+mechanoid2k Nvm the axiom 25 doesn't have aux in, only expr and sustain.
im late to the party but you can connect it to an amp and mic it to record
useful demonstration
Does it also feature a Grand piano voice?
Dimitris Vasileias no
It's FM synthesis so it doesn't have "realistic" piano sounds.
At what price did you buy it? Because i purshased it for like 8 $ at a friend and i would like to know the original price! Someone plzzzzz answer!!!!!
Does this have MIDI? I have a KX49 i want to control it with if and when i get one
@rockerzac99 This keyboard doesn't have MIDI so can't connect it to a computer or any other MIDI device
Audio jack though
I got this same one at goodwill for 39 bucks lol its pretty cool

KeyboardKrazy49 or do you reckon it’s to do with the type of plug?
Nickypink09 it could be, what adapter are you using? I would use a kpa 3 or today’s equivalent the pa-130 adapter or you can use batteries with it too
sounds like the legend of zelda: a link to the past songs was made with this O_o
It Is like an 8bit piano
Does it have outs?
No outputs, just headphones though you can use it as an output to connect to a mixer, and then use headphones on the mixer
What is the name of the charger?

How much does this cost in 2021?
