Well.. I am still using my ancient PSR-3000 for solo and band gigs reguarly.. still sounds great to me.. I just happened to look at one of these while in my local guitar center... first thing I noticed was that it just feels cheap.. lightweight, just didn't have a solid touch... I guess it sounds OK but really not anywhere near enough difference for me to have to lust after it as I've done with boards from YAmaha, Roland, Korg in the past.. One thing to consider.. all these arranger keyboards have REALLY steep learning curves to really pull the best out... if you just going to flip it on and play all the presets, save your money. Arranger keyboards by nature are a commitment.
Is incredible! There has been no way to find a worthwhile video of this keyboard. When it's not that they don't know how to play, it's that the sound is lousy and monophonic. What is missing a video of Gabriel Aldort or Peter Baartman!
Apart from the L/R outputs and more functions, this* keyboard sounds very, very near the PSR E463. I did not buy the E463 just because of its dated sounds. They are not bad, just "old" or "retro". Seems like the only option I have is the PSR SX600 :(
Please guys do something more imaginative! This PSR E473 can do better! Go have a look at Casio’s presentation of the new CT-S1000V to find some inspiration!
Sounds very good, and OK yes, there will always be bigger, better and SUBSTANTIALLY more expensive keyboards, and comparing it to those is not a true comparison. But for the cost £339 UK... it's a steal. Those who knock.... Play it better!

DON’T BUY A 437. The headphones turn off at random times. Rebooting doesn’t solve the problem. You’ve got to wait a random time to get the headphone output back. The other thing is that voices saved to the bank are saved only partially. When the machine is rebooted some of the saved parameters revert to the (bad) defaults.

Meme si le psr e373 n'a pas tous les fonctionnalités que le psr e473, les sons surtout piano sont comme meme excellents et un prix plus abordable( 100 euros de moins).En plus il y a des lecons d'apprentissage dans ce psr 373. Si vous n'avez pas beaucoup de moyens, franchement je conseille le psr 373 et je m'y amuse beaucoup.Le psr 473 je m'en sers pour jouer devant un public.

Yes. You will need some software and a computer. Then this 473 has the option to turn off the default keyboard sound and then you can use the external midi keboard and load any virtual midi instrument. Long process

Hi The sampling sound is too loud whereas the key sounds are too weak. How to soften the samplings sound while increasing the keys sound? Volume knob will reduce soften both.

Imagine you have imported two sampling sounds, one very soft, one very loud, to be played in one song, that is impossible job, as sampling sounds can only be set using the general round knob which will set all voice, style and sampling together at the same time.

The wah wah sounds and the synthezisers are boring, but that we know of Yamaha. The only goor sounds are the organ sounds, especially the pipeorgan. I'll buy one for my church.

I have found Yamaha user interfaces to be very bad. Most of the knobs and buttons are useless, the useable ones are heavily overloaded with functions.

The issue with this keyboard I've noticed when recording a performance on the user's the playback won't sound the same as the live performance.

Look into the Medeli AKX10 before buying the PSR SX600. You might be pleasantly surprised.

473 cannot even output songs through its processor to pendrive. It outputs in plain midi. Waste of money. Sx better
