Loved watching this. I just bought a 23’ evo 300 4T after getting rid of my KTM 300 xc. It was like riding a 6’ ladder. It was set up really well with Factory Connection forks and shock and a bunch of other nice improvements but, couldn’t get my fee down on tight-slow stuff and would slow speed crash. I’m 69 now and have been riding since 1970. So, I got the Evo because of watching some vids like yours. I LOVE being able to keep single track riding in Montana with a reduced fear of crippling myself!
Awesome! I've only ever had trials bikes, I recently rode a TE300 and TX300, I know everyone says the 300s feel so small and light compared to other dirt bikes, but man they were so massive compared to what I'm used to, can't imagine trying to wrangle them on trails all day.
Hi nice video ! I'm looking for bag to put on my montesa for riding like you. But i would like to fit 2L in both side. 4L total.. Is that possible with the hebo bags ?
Unless you fabricated some bottles to perfectly fit in the bags, I doubt it. I can fit 3 "1 liter" (they really hold 800ml) bottles in the bag. I've found I can easily carry way more fuel than I can burn in a day of gnarly trail riding. Assuming you have a 4RT, even though the tank is small, I imagine it should consume less fuel than my bike.
Yeah, I always carry at least some extra gas, electric start TRS bikes don't have a reserve because there's no room for a petcock in the tank. In this case I had three 0.8L bottles in the tank bag. I ended up running out and dumping them in the bike, but I would have only needed one to get back. We burned a LOT of fuel at that gravel pit doing hill climbs.
@@tomcorle1400 In stock form with oil and some fuel I weighed mine at 167LBS. Range greatly depends on the type of riding I'm doing. I've seen as high as 36MPG and as low as 25MPG. The tank holds just over a gallon, so those MPG ratings are also the same as the range.
Often better, but it really depends on the hill. Enduro bikes have a lot more power and their tires are designed to work better in looser surfaces, at least when combined with wheelspeed, but taming that power and speed can be difficult.
That wasn't because the bike lacked the power. None of us started at the top, we all learned over time, but slipping the clutch is NOT the answer, that's never needed on a trails bike, climbing hills, unless you're in too high of a gear, which nobody was in any of these climbs. These bikes will climb this hill in first through fourth gear successfully. I've done just that. Everybody in this video climbs all of these with ease now. Two riders are experienced here, one has very limited time in and is learning rather quickly.@@jacko4483
@@jacko4483 Just inexperience, nothing more. You don't over the top of this one fast, it's not flat up there. He climbs it with ease now. No clutch slipping is needed on a trials bike, these bikes climb this in first through fourth gear, I've done it in all those gears.

Very cool Video! I´m on a Monteas 4ride. I like this type of bikes.

Awesome ride fellas 👍
Do you carry extra gas?

I sometimes carry a 1 litre in my backpack on longer rides. Haven’t used it yet, but best to have a backup. TRS 300 RR.
@@PNW_Trials_Adventures How much does the bike weigh? Range?

Just about everyone is cutting the power before you get to the top!
Slip that clutch and rev it!!
Why? Climb the hill, get to the top, what else is needed?

@kellyhahn6145 got it, understand.
I've got an Evo factory 4 stroke, yeah, they climb!!
