Cubby's actor is fucking beautiful, all the guys there are hot I mean I have a HUGE thing for Papi but he truly is Beautiful. Handsome/cute all that too but the word that really sticks in my head for him is beautiful.
There was a LOT of sickening fashion during the run of this show... but CUBBY'S SUIT KILLED IT! 0:31 - 0:42... And the best part is that to me, it looks unisex for any wedding. I can see a gay groom, a lesbian bride & even a Mother Of The Bride wearing it. SIMPLY STUNNING.

The truth is; that was at a time when friend circles were getting smaller by the day. Between 1982 and 1995 I saw not less than 30 good friends die at before they even reached peak. Seeing missing people in these circles REALLY portray how it was then.

Cubby's entrance and nod broke me with this scene. Ny mum was one of the first members of staff in the hospital that requested and a transfer to the whispered behind the hand "AIDS ward". I grew up at this time, though in the UK so to us whities if their was a ballroom culture we never knew about it sadly. It is also why when I started training as a nurse and thre was the union recruitment drive I spoke loud enough for everyone to hear that I remember when UNISON and NUPE campaigned to make sure no nurse "had" to work on the "AIDS ward" and that is the reason I will not join them, and said I would rather be a member of the NUM than join either of those unions. There is nothing either can do to expunge that bigotry. My mum quite her job in the late 00s after nursing a 16 your old to their death on that ward. That was the straw the broke the camels back as she never thought she would have to do that again even more so as he died alone she just said to the sister "I'm out so goodbye as I will not turn up for my shifts next week. I'll give my notice to management and as I have been here for 20 years I will say it is instead of notice as I have that rigth", I am not sure who to type the word that would normally be used. She was the only member of staff on that ward who was never rotated out for a break, when they tried she said no. She had transferred for oncology so she had no problem what so ever working with dying patients.
Here's an idea guve us a season 4 with pray tell, cubby, and candy popping up from time to time. There's the idea now create the master piece. Don't take Pose away from us. This show helped me with life situations bring it back

They were house brothers for a time. The show spans years so even though on screen you don't see where they spoke on screen you have to sense they had some sort of relationship especially because blianca and Electra are close
This scene makes absolutely no sense Since when we’re Lamar and Chubby ever friends or cool with Papi and Rickey And Papi we’re never this close And Pray tell His Ass and Papi were never close or CLOSE at all the only one Is Damon who sadly left the show but let’s be realistic the only person who would be Papi Main Man is Damon they actually had a relationship and friendship Maybe Rickey Too but the show is rushed So we can’t really see that But Pray tell , Chubby and Lamar were never Buddy buddy
I thought the same thing with Lamar and Cubby but we have to remember we’ve seen a 10 year span of this show in just 3 seasons with only 8 episodes a season. So I wouldn’t be surprised if Papi shared moments with Lamar and Cubby that just weren’t shown in between the constant time jumps. And Ricky and Papi were house brothers who couldn’t stand each other at first. Just like biological brothers you fight or you aren’t that close when you live together but when you get older and move out you become closer. And I always thought of Pray Tell as their unofficial house father.
Notice how Pray Tell was the only other one dressed in white.....it was like foreshadowing he was about to become an angel himself
