So it's actually smarter to buy 200 budget guns, instead of spending the same or less money on five or six super high quality guns,, WTF😢,,, yeah, see what I'm talking about, someone with common sense. A bunch of crappy budget guns you're still spending a ton of money, if you just bought three or four really nice guns then you'd be able to enjoy them and not have a bunch of crap. That's some great wisdom shared for the viewers,, 👍,,,,, totally impossible to disagree with that statement unless you are a complete idiot
@DaveandDebe Bersa ain't crap, nor are they cheap. They are right in line with Smith quality and price since Bersa comes from Beretta engineering. You really are ignorant and have probably never even shot one to call them crap. I own and have shot far more expensive pistols that are not as good as some Bersa pistols. I get sick of folks always using higher price to measure quality and that is just a lie. High end guns can and do have quality problems just like lower end guns.
Yeah never mind the fact that there’s a shit ton of high quality, reliable, budget guns that are JUST AS GOOD as all the overpriced stuff. Great budget options that have literally flooded the market in recent years. I have several so called budget guns that are really nice with zero issues. Your statement is idiotic!
@@peterquinn2997 I agree and that was my point also.
Tell you no nothing about this.If you're going to try to teach, get some of schooling 🙄
@@rbm6184exactly right. Guns like CZ and Ruger and Canik are quality guns at a budget price and almost always very reliable. You could pay more for a higher-end brand but you're likely not going to get much more for the dollar.
Then you get into Brands like Taurus Bersa and Palmetto State Armory and they are very budget-friendly but you might get a lemon from time to time. But most of the time they are very good.
You’re one of the very few people who actually give reviews for the everyday gun buyer!! Thanks!!
Thank you, you are the only one that talks about the working man's
Gun budget
And bersa fills that niche with quality handguns
My wife has a Bersa thunder. It’s a nifty little pistol. Shoots well, reliable, comfortable. What’s not to like?
The Firearm Guy is getting to be the source for the average guy to see what is the best option for him in a handgun
@@lewis45acp I seeany people dislike Brands like Bersa just because they aren't made in the USA.
Love your coverage of the Bersa booth and was very impressed with all their new products 👍
I appreciate that Stiles
I can honestly say that from all the Shot Show coverage I have seen. This year's products from PSA, Bersa, Taurus, and other underdog companies were the highlights. With the exception of Ruger's 45 acp pcc. Otherwise, it was pretty much overpriced products or plain rinse and repeat products.
You definitely are not wrong Jon
Your reviews are always great… I appreciate that you cover the offerings from companies that aren’t necessarily as main stream. Keep up the great work!
I appreciate that Seth!
You always do a great job Dan, Thanks!
I appreciate that bro
Great video! Love my Bersas! Glad they are getting a solid review
Always great reviews, best way review what you can and what works for you and your audience
That's the way I see it Leigh. Hope you check in tomorrow
@@TheFirearmGuy I'll try might be a bit late here in uk tho
Bersa has always made great firearms.
Its great to see them do a bit more.
Love your channel and appreciate the fact that you do lots of reviews on more affordable firearms for us regular guys. 👍
That’s why I love this channel!
I appreciate that Guy
Been watching your videos for many years. You always bring excellent content. Your reviews on the firearms on your videos seems always honest and fair. Just my opinion but when ever I see a review on the Staccato firearms. They get to the shooting portion seems like the Staccato firearms have a week extraction on the empty cartridge. For such a expensive firearm it should be better than that. I have cheaper firearms that really slings the empty cartridges way out there. Thanks for all the videos you put out.
I really appreciate that. Carlito and very good insight on staccato
I am pleasantly surprised with Bersa. Made in the U.S.A. & a 1911. Thank you Sir.
Right on GM
Well I for one am very grateful that you chose to do your video on the Bersa because I’m very excited to try those. And yours is the only one I’ve seen on them so far. I would definitely try those out right away if they’re in a good budget range even though I have some very expensive guns I love to try the lower price to Guns to see how they are sometimes you find a true gem. I think you’re doing great keep up the good work
Thank you, Dan. Good thoughts.
I'm really confused on the direction of the gun world. Nobody knows who to copy next. For the longest time everyone was trying to beat glock, and for the most part they did, you have a cheaper and arguably same reliability glock for less money or you can get something all dressed up and still have a work horse and revered pistol. Glock became the gold standard on price for quality. 500 bucks for a good quality firearm. Firearms are coming out with way less innovation and a way higher price tag. Lionheart is a perfect example of one of those companies. The LH9 was perfect the way it was, they updated it and charged way more than the LH9, same gun just different looks, they did it again and now its like 3x what the LH9 was and that was a little expensive for a Daewoo DP51 then. Same gun from the 70s is now going for over 1200 because they added an optic and lighting cuts and grip panels? 1911s are unchanged and going for well over 2000. Im really shocked most companies are still in business to be honest. All these gun companies can go belly up quick, when you got people like PSA making a good quality new product and standing behind it. How many companies let you pick what gun they work on next? When gun companies stopped allowing people to contact them and offer ideas and critique, everything became the same.
The Lionheart Vulcan is underwhelming after I shot it
Great video on bersa. Only surprised you not have video on a visit to the kahr booth as well. ?.
I did visit the Kahr booth. They are great people there and I enjoy spending time with them
👍👍I can’t remember ever seeing what I would call a not so good video from you Dan. I’ve always appreciated your enthusiasm and knowledge when you’re reviewing a firearm. You’ve showed me guns that I would have probably never knew existed if not for your reviews….Thanks
Well unfortunately you just watched one, and it's not good!,, how long have you two been dating,,,
I really appreciate that. Lance, I take this whole thing with a humble approach
There is no need to explain yourself. It's your channel and you make videos on what you want
Great video Dan! The most money that I have spent on a handgun $720.00 for an HK VP9. I would rather buy the lower end pistols so I can afford to buy more guns than buy a $2000.00 gun & not be able to buy another gun for a year or more! I'll keep buying the Turkish guns which I have had no issues with!! Thanks for the video Brother & shoot on!!
Yes sir John, that represents the majority of the people that watch this channel
Id take the Bersa. Sucks to hear about CZ. Thanks Dan. I appreciate your honest insights. 👊🇺🇸

I bought my first bersa bp 380 cc 7 years ago and the BP9cc and they’re still running flawlessly! Like I said my dreams are coming through finely I will have a full size BP9cc and they look majestic!!😎
I love my bersa thunder 380... great guns for the money...
Bersa makes great guns. Thanks for showing us
Thanks Williams
The bersa ds 1911 appeals to me. Good price, made here in the US, packed with features. Yessir.
Beretta was the most tempting to me.
Great video as always Dan. Go Lions!!!!!!!
Yes sir Nick
I hear you on the price and interest of those less expensive guns. For me: I’m waiting to hear from you before I buy one! Those new Bersas look goooooood.
That Bersa carry piece is awesome
I agree man
Hi, you are a great Bersa supporter! Greetings from Bersa's home: Argentina
Good Job! Id rather see the new stuff from Bersa. I watched a factory tour of Bersa's Argentinian factory making the Thunder/Max pistols and was amazed its almost all done on CNC machines. I would love to see their new stuff, much more than another video about Staccatto pistols that I cant afford.
Exactly true Paul and most people on this channel would say the same thing
Bersa for sure has offered more so far for 2024 than many competitors out there. New full size BP9 and new sub compact model, drop in triggers, suppressors, and a nice line up of 1911s. Although Beretta has a lot of new pistols also.
My thoughts exactly
I appreciate the Bersa review. I've wanted a bp9 forever and the full size looks awesome! And a 1911? I'll probably get both. keep up the great videos!
I agree 100%. There are a lot of good designs or rehashed designs that work well, but i just dont have the scratch for them. I'm one of the lucky few to get my hands on a Bul SAS, but I'll be paying it off for the next year, and that stings. Worth it? Absolutely, but it'll be a one and done purchase.
Fantastic Video Brother Dan. Bersa has a nice pistol I have seen, from your video. I would like to purchase. Gonna visit the gun store soon. Thanks Brother, Have a Great Weekend.
You too V
My humble opinion the gun industry went the way of the car industry with insane prices the average guy can’t afford .
With the above exception, Palmetto State, Canik and such others like them .
Bersa, like Taurus, gets a bad rap for having a shady history and some reliability issues. What Bersa should learn from Taurus, (hopefully a healthy rivalry) is that you can bounce back from the bottom. Kudos on manufacturing in the USA, kudos for all the new products, and kudos for getting into the budget market. I love my G3c! I'd love to get a Bersa that could be an EDC budget workhorse. Bersa should compete with the Taurus G and Canik TP pistols.
And to piggyback on what you was saying about "cheap guns," Dan, I don't want to EDC some shiny pristine $2000 custom Wilson Combat. Like a Camaro, I'd cry if it got a scratch on it. The "every man" wants a "duty pistol" quality EDC for a price that won't hurt my feelings if it gets banged around and scuffed up. But, like a duty pistol, it's gotta go BANG when my life is on the line and I need it the most. That's why Glocks have totally dominated the gun world for so long.
Glock 19 = the Honda Civic of handguns
I love my Bersa BP9cc !! 👌
Theres 3 groups of gun fans
1. Affordable firearms
2. Anything Glock
3. Whatever the peasants cant afford
I have a good range of pistols some $ to $$$. I don’t have any Staccatos. I did buy a Bul Armory DS 1911 over a Springfield DS Prodigy because of early problems with the Prodigy. I later shot a friend’s Prodigy. I decided that day I would get the Prodigy. The Bul Armory was a beautiful gun, but I could not justify it because the trigger was too light for a recreational shooter like myself.
The friend who loaned me his Prodigy told me he had a friend who wanted my model of Bul Armory. He was able to make it happen through the gun store we works at.
I now have the Girsan Witness2311. I probably need to run 300-500 more rounds through it to break it in. My Prodigy required no break in at all.
Thanks for the explanation, Dan. What you're saying makes sense. I'll watch a couple of videos on the Staccato or the H9 but only a couple and they're just out of curiosity. I'll never be willing to cut corners on my finances and buy one. But something like a Bursa, Taurus, or a Ruger and sure, those videos I watch. I can afford those guns. Beretta recently had some good rebates on their guns. That made them affordable so I checked out the reviews and bought a fine gun at a very reasonable price. I'm sure I'm not alone with that approach.
Most interested in the Del-Ton pistol. Will it just be another one off Mossberg or Savage?
I didn't notice. We'll take a look at it right now
Good stuff, see ya there
Taurus fills the niche of working man’s gun
Caint go wrong with Bersa excellent tools..
Yes they did. I’ve been waiting for them to release that gun as a double stack for a long time.
I have a tpr9c. Solid gun but not a fun range gun. Thinking about trading in for the full size tpr9. Out of curiosity was there talk of this model staying as is or any revamp happening? Thanks for the great content.
@superbatmanfan01 I have no problem shooting my TPR9C at the range comfortably for long sessions. Being a sub compact it is going to be snappy like all sub compacts are. Just buck up and learn to manage the recoil holding it tighter or change your hand grip, change the frame grips if necessary, or like you said get a full size TPR9 but you won't be able to conceal it as well.
Nothing was said about the TPR 9. I think they're happy with the way it is
@@rbm6184it's a great pistol, but to put my hand high on the grip, the sharp corner of the decocker ends up between my thumb and palm, bruising the knuckle after 30-50 rounds. As a range gun the full size seems like it can be picked up and fired without having to think things through. Maybe there's a case for owning both.
@@superbatmanfan01 Sharp corners are sometimes on some guns that don't get finished properly. I have had a few. All it takes is some time, effort, sandpaper, and gun blue until those edges are blunted. The safety/decocker on mine does not do that to my hand with a high hand grip. All the controls on mine are snag free and smooth like they are suppose to be. But I don't have large meaty, fat, or thick hands and that does affect the hand grip of some folks. We all have different hand sizes and some guns are just not going to fit us but only you can decide that.
@@TheFirearmGuy It is my favorite sub compact. I do have three dislikes about it but I can live with them. The polygonal barrel, the safety lock, and the firing pin take down I do not like but I can live with it. It has far more great features than those three bad ones. The snag free controls, the super easy field strip, the SWEET trigger in both DA and SA, the decocker, reliable, and accurate. The sights are not great but adequate and do the job and are SIG compatible so they can be changed.
Bersa and Palmetto State won the 2024 SHOT Show.
No argument there. Silverback
Tired out the H9 at my local range, and it's a very strange pistol to fire. The trigger mechanism is interesting and innovative for sure, but the curved profile with the trigger safety makes it a very strange pull(it's spongey and the reset is almost nonexistent); and the recoil impulse threw me off. I'm far from the best shooter/most knowledgeable gun guy, but the H9 feels like a proof of concept model.
You are competing with the Lyons vs 49ers? That's okay. I'll tune in to TFG.
I figured that out afterwards. Go ahead and watch the game Rider you get enough of me
@@TheFirearmGuy I'm a Mac, not a PC - I can multi-task. 😎
Bersa is a great gun manufacturer. Totally underrated and get a bad rep for zero reason for it. Lifetime warranty, great price, reliability etc.
Thank you brother, see ya tomorrow 👍🇺🇸🤝
I love to hear that foggy. I'll see you tomorrow night
For sure my interest in BERSA is much higher now that some BERSA are made here !!
Dan im so glad you showed Bersa. It will be a cold day in #@$$ when i drop the cash on the H9 when i dont like the look anyway. And on stacatto just too much green when i can get good 1911 platforms for less. Im 63 and not gonna run and gun. I have a Glock and the reason is if a shtf situation they are everywhere, can get parts easily or steal them from a liberal😂😂. But seriously i think you did a service with most of your viewers
Anything from Grand Power?
Range USA has the h9 to rent.....check locally it feels good in the hand, has a low felt recoil, a cross between a glock and a 1911 to me.
With that being said I wasn't particularly accurate shooting it.
I had to use a 12 o'clock hold to get bullseye. trigger has a safety placed in an awkward angle, which is kind of weird for a 2011 style trigger.
its a nice starting point, there are some things to like, but I think they may need to work out some kinks with this one.
Man your killing me, the Lions are playing, aren't you in northern Michigan, ' up north ' maybe I'll be able to catch the end
I see those expensive guns as range toys and novelty. When less expensive and more reliable options exist; why bother? Glock, XD, M&P...
They are pretty special but it comes with a heavy wallet
AMEN, you are exactly correct. I want quality value firearms not eye candy safe queens you don’t want to shoot or carry because I spent thousands of dollars on it!
0:22 you may say that, but your eyes say I called bullshit😂😂
Too funny man. I guess I can't get anything past you
I found out years ago .. a high price tag doesn’t equal high quality…
Back room special review?
How come no one went to Bear Creek Arsenal booth?!
I love budget and value options. I was disappointed by most of the manufacturers in Shot Show because most of them brought really expensive Gucci products. They all know the country is going through Bidenomics.
When Staccato comes up on videos I skip that part. I did the same with the H9 stuff. No interest. All your videos were great and what people actually want to see.
Bersa out did Kahr with their double Kahr double stack sucks until they make it in the p frame and TP frame
Not sure about that
I agree. All the Kahr DS is is a variation of the 365 & Hellcat, for about the price of a Hellcat. IMO, they should have just DS & RDS the PM9, P9, & TP9. Especially with the PM9 version, they could have had the smallest DS 9mm RDS capable out there. Missed their chance.
Bersa = great guns for the $$.
Completely agreed
I do not understand why the gun reviewers constantly review the newest, grandest firearms that I would never purchase. I understand the more money you pay for a firearm will give you a better chance of a superior gun but having said that they only thing they do is put holes in targets. If I am going to purchase a new firearm I want dependability and accuracy. I do not look at who names in on the slide, I just want it to work.
No doubt John
Canik TTI Combat?
Will see it " better " after 6 months , H9 needs to perform without bugs , and still too expensive !!! 😂

Don't bother trying to get a video at the Stacatto booth.
exactly true Suburban
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT??? 02:53 "They (Bersa) came out with something new. They didn't take an old pattern and make it their own. They didn't take the new Staccato P and not change it too much from what they already offer..." LOL! I watched your SHOT Show visit to the Bersa booth. There was no innovation! Producing suppressors and drop in triggers is diversification. Making a full size version of a gun they already had in their catalog is the same as Staccato not changing too much from what they already offer. The BP9 is what? A polymer, striker fired 9mm. Yeah, those things are really rare. "They came out with a sub-compact, double stack 9mm." WOW! No one has ever done that before! That's some real innovation! "They are optic ready with tritium sights." GAME CHANGERS! Oh, and let us not forget that they made the daring move of introducing the world to their new, innovative pistol; the 1911! LOL! Look, brother, it's alright to promote budget guns and lesser known brands. Graham Baates has become very popular for doing just that. But it's unfair to criticize Staccato and Daniel Defense for being more popular, by far, than Bersa. There's food and room for everyone at the table. There's no need for rancor.
I criticized DD and Staccato? Who me?
@@TheFirearmGuy, LOL! Perhaps criticize was too strong? Let's just say you sounded unimpressed with their SHOT Show offerings.
Dang dude, need a snikers bar or something? Or are you a "sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you dont" guy?

I definitely will have the "innovative " bersa sc as well as the canik mc9 on a short list of affordable self defense pistols when I am back on my feet.

Thanks brother been watching your stuff for years , you are definitely an inspiration 🙏
I don’t understand what’s so special about the Daniel defense h9 , it a hideous looking over priced gun, it’s nothing special in my opinion, the staccato are expensive but if a man can afford one he should buy it they are worth the hype, and I watched someone’s video on bersa and I’m like you they came out with a lot of stuff a shot show and the working man can afford them, I’m a Daniel defense fan but that h9 does nothing for me, it’s about as hideous looking of a gun as glock,
My thoughts exactly buddy
A) No, that Bersa is not going to beat the H9. Not even a little bit
B) I'm a fan of yours. I could of shown you the H9
C) I swung by Bersa's booth. It's pretty clear the BP9s are rehashed a Gen 3 Glocks. It's not like they took a defunct design, retained the good things about it, and then re-engineered the entire thing to address all the issues that killed the original gun. All Bersa did was essentially cosmetic work.
I don't think you watched the video
@@TheFirearmGuyI did. I added a third point
