So far, across various videos, it's been found possible to defeat Metal Sonic, Death Egg Robot, Shadow (theoretically), Perfect Chaos, and now Egg Dragoon. It looks like the only ones left to figure out would be Silver, and Time Eater. (And I think that even with the Mario 64 mod, it still loads in the normal Super Sonic characters for that fight, so Time Eater doesn't count)
Yeah I've seen those as well. I tried Silver for a little bit but it doesn't seem promising, all of his moves require a homing attack to counter. I would like to keep trying though
Interesting! Trying to beat this boss didn't even occur to me back when I was trying to beat stages with this mod as fast as I could. I'll definitely try it out later and see if there's any time-saves I can find, but just knowing it's possible at all is nice to know Now we're just missing a way to beat Silver and specially Shadow
I think the final boss just loads in Super Sonic instead of Mario because the mod doesn't support it sadly, so technically with the mod enabled, it is very possible lol
