There's a hill where I live called the "Bloody A$$hole" it got that name because if you try to climb it you're essentially screwing yourself really bad.. Most drive down it and think its no big deal ignore the warnings from the locals and try to go up. They make it 1/2 to 3/4 of the way up get stuck then tumble back down! The hill has claimed hundreds of trucks and countless ATVs, and some of those trucks are still there stuck where they landed even a few from the early 1980s!!
A crowd of blokes on the piss, steep hill with some steps & a bunch of fellas with limited skills makes for accidents waiting to happen. Fun entertainment, but if one vehicle lost it badly, they'd maybe roll down into the camp & take out anyone or anything in the way. Nearly happened twice & old mate in the Rangie maybe had a few beers already because he was not in control much of the time. Too many didn't seem to have a clue how to back down slow & safe.
@@ian9toes i guess its safe because the most damage you'll get is cosmetic damage including mirrors rather than flipping your car down a hill like other footage ive seen where the hill is steep but open grading. But yes sure there are other hills to practice 4x4 training on. Doesnt need to be that steep or technical to learn.
that hill looks kind of challenging , was fun to watch people drive up it . That guy at the end of the vid was a complete idiot and should not have been driving up that at all !!!
No shit this is awsome, look at the crowed below a good day of it epic shit happening, better then anything I’ve seen that first drive was fucken unreal I had a GQ that stalled carby on big shit was fukn scary as, this vid is fukn lit lad 🍻🫡
Offroad-offroad gini..selain ban nya harus pacul maka cc mesin nya juga harus besar bro ! haha...kita tes la nanti H3 terbaru kita tuan dari pabrikan rab nanti kan ! haha..
Great video, great edits, I just wish it had subtitles! I live in an English speaking country (USA) and we have a hard time understanding Australian; I realize you guys are very busy down there and don't have time to use whole words or install beds on your pickup trucks ( a lot easier to glue a card table on there). It must be confusing trying to off road with the steering wheel on the wrong side while having some non-english speaking person in verbal shorthand shouting: passenger! passenger! and turning the wrong way! PS: thank you for crocodile Dundee; Men At Work not so much, but this video more than made-up for having to listen to a song about vegemite.
Nice video! I don't know how much beer had the guy in the Range, but i think he needs to be more focused... More control, not gonna say going forward but at least going backwards... I was not expecting that roll at the end but I doesn't surprise me at all... Hey! Keep up the good work! Thanks for sharing from the Canaries!!!
Great video! Actually, all your vids are pretty good hey. I like your spotting and commentary. I'd be happy to have you spot me anyday. I've just started getting into wheeling and habve just finished building my R50 Pathfinder, twin locked, 4" lift, 2" subframe drop, winch, rock sliders, front and rear steel bars, and a bunch of other stuff. Just need to work on getting to know the car and growing the kahunas a little more. I'll keep an eye out for you lads at Glassy and some of the tracks in the Scenic Rim. Hopefully see you out there someday. Btw, is it just me or was that yellow Rangy's suspension too soft for the weight of the car and style of wheeling? Cheers,
The old Range Rover and the Jeeps were the only interesting ones to watch. The rest are the same Patrols and Land cruisers you see here in Nth Qld 10x per day. 🥱
Everyone thought the little Suzuki Samaria was funny in til it went write up the hill
It was more the high revs, we were expecting a piston to exit the motor 😉
Has the Range Rover driver ever heard of controlled hill reverse using engine braking??...all the fuckin gear and fuck all idea...
For real bro, was thinking the same thing.
He broke something in the rear end.
Baja la presión a las gomas para que no brinque y tenga más área de amarre con el camino!
Need to drop air pressure
Guy in the Rangie is loose as hell. Holy shit 😂👌
Conclusion: lightweight vehicles had more chance to done that hill 🤔
It's obvious. Those who have lockers front and back, have no problem.
Where's all the LandCruisers? So disappointing to see that it's actually true what patrol owners say lol. We cruiser guys never come out to play.
We just don't seem them on the tracks...
Nah they're just somewhere else getting into real hard 4wheeling....
All hat no cattle them blokes
What you need is an American rock bouncer full throttle all the way to the top
I think old mate in his range rover needs to spruce up on his skills
No doubt about that definitely a nondriver
Vehicle is weighted all wrong thats why you wheelie
The first guy is gonna kill somebody, dude needs to learn to drive.
Right below the steep track... nice place to put your gazebo! :))

This hill would be a great one to practice the key stop and key start in the most safest way!
In what way is it the safest way to practice. Surely a less full on hill would be much safer.

Very steep bumpy section once you loose momentum back you go a bit bloody treacherous.
another nice 4x4 wrecked for 5minutes of fame...be proud
Suzuki Sierra showed them! 👌
Seems essentially that if you’re twin locked you can do it. If not, you can’t 🤔
Air your tires to around 5lbs and climb right up????
Has to be a pisser to have a capable vehicle and not make it to the top. Fun none the less. Good friends and cold beer. Cheers from NW Montana

The manager of the park has to give permission and be present. So they usually build up a far few so it's a good show for the croud
How come that yeller truck drivin' dude ain't got that ther yeller truck up d hill, huh?!
it broke an axle
Couple of blokes drinking iron jacks! Good day mate!!!
🍻
these angles don't do it justice... need to take a side shot to show just how steep it is.
Offroad-offroad gini..selain ban nya harus pacul maka cc mesin nya juga harus besar bro ! haha...kita tes la nanti H3 terbaru kita tuan dari pabrikan rab nanti kan ! haha..
Hill only should be attempted with diff locks. Your too high up to stop and reverse. Too much can go wrong
7 minutes in nice
That white gu patrol just looks scary without the sway bars in looks like it wants to tip all the time 😂😅
Go the Rangie! Huge balls!
He wanted it

Haha, great comment 👍
when clickin Read more takes a different turn...geesh
Yeah the prado!! Gotta take my 120 to the springs some time
Ford ranger 👍
Toyota Defflockr
It's funny how most people think the wider tiers are better for Hill climbs. Nope.
More money than sense! 🙈🦘
That guy in the yellow box...Had no idea lol 😆
Lockers make all the difference 😁 that was awesome to watch 🤘
And less air in tires

I miss my rig..... Great video footage....
Definitely have to keep your momentum on this hill in these size trucks anyway lol ✌️
Is anyone dropping tire psi??
90 series prado showing them all up 😂👌
I don't get why people try to do extreme off-roading without locking differentials.
Just for fun I spose
You run what you brung!
Go the bazooki!!!
Can't drive? Wth
I was really hoping to see the silver 80 go up.
First couple of blokes just lacked speed!
Speed doesn't really help on this one, go too fast and you bounce yourself into the air.
@@DoitintheDirt74 that sounds like good entertainment!
Nice & Entertaining👍
Do you all think the Toyota 4runner will make it up that hill?
I think my 78 GMC square body would crawl right up it
Good filming
Ого тут такой подъёмище. и авто затягивают. класс. сильные моторы
that patrol lololololo hahahahahahahaha
Wish I could take my jeep there. It looks like fun.
Great video 👍🏻
hope no one spent any money on this junk ,we feel sorry for these people. Made up steeper in a 2 wheel drive.
Q ridiculo
Well done in the Land-crab Prado nice job 👍
did anyone have a locker
yep, was a mix setups.
Love ya videos,
I’ll see you out at glass house one day with the ls :D
Thanks, could be fun :)
LOCKERS!!!!
Nice work Boys!
6:00 is not a JK, that's a TJ :)
Updated :)
Nissan patrol ❤🔥
Tyler Thompson got his twin locked stock na auto tb48 patrol up first go made it look easy and it was his first time being at the springs
Yep he did well.
It's not stock tho, has pretty decent suspension, lockers etc.
You would expect a twin locked GU on 35s with 3-4 inches of lift and muddies to walk this though.
I’m guess dirtbikes fly up it in 2nd
Problem is steering wheel is on the wrong side.
Nar mate it's on the right side
Suzuki driver you my Hero!
Experience or the lack of experience, is the key 🔑
wow nice
i haven't been up it yet but by the looks of it, it looks like one wrong bounce or to much pedal and over you go
definitely a fine line between to much bounce and send
i do rc stuff, cheaper to fix haha, great video cheers
Thanks 👍
7:09 Classic Tj 2nd gear crunch
That Nissan patrol just Walks up without Trying....👌👌👌
Nissan patrol Tonka Tough 💪💪💪
Up the Prado!
It was a good drive.
Did he have his tyre pressure down does he have front and rear lockers and were they engaged for that climb?
Sweet

Thanks. Pathfinder is something different. The Rangy was a mechanical fault.
has anyone ever seen a land rover of any type get up this hill
Yes the guys in the yellow RR got up there easily earlier. Seen many RR go up there no probs.
&
Any locked hilux would make it up there
Patrol Power 🕊
My 78 GMC would go straight up that
As a Jeep owner and lover ... I am so dang proud!
The Jeeps did pretty well hey
The correct way to climb is to go faster to get the momentum!
You can't go to quickly on this one as you hit the ledge and get air.
Jeep el mejor 🥰
I’ve seen Subaru Outbacks that could’ve handled that hill better.
Let us know when you're going to send one up.
