- Okay, so this is the second upload of this vlog. The first time I somehow only uploaded half of it! Apologies to those who have already seen the first upload, you can now enjoy the whole video.
It's my first try at making acrylic pins and they came out so nice!

If you pop your 'fails' back in the oven and heat them up again they should finish 'cooking' and turn out flat again. The key is to not take shrink out of the oven until it has curled and then uncruled to flat again.
For the plastic that bubbled, try reheating them, then flatten with a piece of acrylic or wood to the count of 5 seconds. That should fix them.
Pleeeease wear an organic vapor respirator and gloves when working with any type of resin. UV resin might seem like it's not harmful but even when the bottle says "non-toxic" it is still bad to inhale the fumes (whether you can smell them or not). Always wear proper PPE.
You can shrink them with a heat gun and control the heat better
Your pins are very cute. A helpful tip I’ve read others doing is after you take it out of the oven place something heavy on them so they stay flat. (not sure if you did that) just seen all the ones you said you didn’t like and some of them looked curled so thought I would mention it just incase. Hate to see you waste so much because that shrink paper is not cheap. 😊
Thanks for the tip! I think the ones that curled, I took out of the oven too soon. I don’t think they had shrunk properly 🤦♀️ I’m too impatient 😂

Hello! I do it on blade 10, force 33 with 6 passes. I have only managed it with this one brand of shrink plastic. Other brands I couldn’t get it to cut. Let me know if you can get it to work!
Silly question. How does the silhouette know where to cut?
It has registration marks picked up by a sensor in the machine so it knows exactly where to cut 😊
hello. How long do you need to leave it in the oven?
I do 2 minutes but I think it depends on your resin and your UV lamp too.
Which shrink plastic did you use? I tried looking online for the packet you showed but no joy!
