@@ender7278 they bought Bricklink so the set in the video is 100% an official Lego set and this theme is focusing on basing on Lego’s ideas from all around the world, I heard that if your set idea gets the most votes your set can be make in this theme
Lego pulled out last minute maybe cause they were releasing the 3 - 1 creator set but this would have been a better buy. Hey on the bright side Lego is coming with Lion Knights Castle with 4000 piece count.
Looks really delicate, but still spectacular display set. Thanks for sharing the build. Beginning to believe Lego is really sleeping on the medieval theme considering the enormous success of the Blacksmith last year. Not that it really needs it's own theme, but a yearly Creator Expert Castle themed structure in the style/build quality of their modular line would sell amazing, and free it entirely from the Ideas theme. Having only recently built the Mega Constructs MOTU Castle of Greyskull which despite however you feel about the Brand it's still a great value for a super detailed/structurally solid doll house styled castle build, and I'd love for Lego to do similarly fashioned builds outside of any known IP.
I love this set. Makes me angry at Lego for making it limited and thereby inaccessible to the vast majority of collectors…certainly not at a reasonable price. Anyway, thanks for the build, it looks really fun to put together and the result is fantastic!
Beautiful set. Looks great as a display model, but I truly like the playability aspects of it. The drop away floor is great. I know it's not appropriate for a european castle, but I want to put an alligator in the water under that floor. TFS
Bricklink said there would be a 90 day order period for this set. Then it sold out on the first day! Ridiculous! Why not accept as many preorders as possible? Guaranteed sales. I wanted to buy 2 of these sets to build a double-sized MOC (building a double-sized Blacksmith this past week and it's turning out amazing) then one or 2 to save for my kids, and maybe 1 or 2 to sell. People said "anyone ordering the full 5 is a scalper" but I wanted to build at least 3 of them and now I have none! I am trying to do a castle-town and eventually MOC a large castle. This set was going to help my town. Glad to see the build, let's all hope Lego gets rational and does for Castle what the City Modulars have done since 2007.
Bro you exactly reasoned why, you wanted 5, to sell them to others? And why do your kids need two? People like you are the reason why stuff is unavailable so fast
Great set! 👍 One day I hope we can get other official rejected LEGO Ideas sets sometime soon like maybe the Krusty Krab or any other set that the designers will update the different versions.
Set schaut sehr schön aus. Ich glaube, beim bauen waren einige "komplizierte"(!) Bauschritte vorhanden! Das zusehen hat aber sehr viel Spass gemacht. Danke und Gruß...
This lego castle set are sett after the middle ages and even after year 1516 so i guess the forest men and the black falcons still exist even after the middle ages had ended.

it was selled via crowdfounding, the process is done and 10000 Sets was produced and selled. Now you can only buy on reseller market for very high prices
What the hell was Lego thinking not making this set official? The least they can do is come out with smaller affordable set with castle theme. Not everyone can afford $100 + set. Lego is getting out of touch.
Still waiting for mine. Lego just sent me an e-mail saying shipping has been delayed to Feb 15 now. This is the 3rd email they have sent pushing back the date.
So why did I waste half an hour watching this? And the builder wasted more... Because its fun to see and to do. And to invent.... Povoq has been working hard... Please make the next one Povoq!
The instructions are available for free online. Parting out the set might be a lot cheaper than buying it from scalpers. The stickers can be bought on several sites that sell replica stickers.
Overall this set is ...ugly. Medieval Castle 31120 3 in 1 is much much better and much cheaper. But I'm not going to lie - Some of the other Bricklink Designer Programm sets are pretty nice.
sorry but this is not what i expected, with almost 2000 bricks pieces but the end product does not achieve my expectations. with scalpers reselling the sets at 2x the original prices now. this set looks like combination of the 1980s Vintage Forestmen's Camouflaged Outpost 6066 + Forestmen's River Fortress 6077 together into 1. its not so original idea. Those who had these 2 sets in the 1980s, will know this 910001 Castle in the Forest is nothing special. if u guys go and google these 2 Forestmen sets (6066 & 6077) and view the pictures/videos , u will see the similarity is almost 80%..
The forestmen shields aren't even real ones.. 😱😰🤬 what a shame.. is it because lego stopped doing those.. ? If it s the reason my idea is ruined.. 😢😰🥶 I wanted to propose directly to bricklink program for a set to make but using existing OLD lego pieces, like the 4 types of scalemail torsos that the black knight faction had.. The black faction shields (small and big), the dark grey and black two sorts of old soldiers helmets, etc.. What can I do now.. why proposing it in lego idea.. even with 30'000 votes it will never be accepted.. This idea was a way to give al of us pieces that we want, I wanted ti use all kind of dark grey slopes, maconnery bricks, etc, to make the dream set of every lego castle fan..
A contractor will miss its deadlines for delivering new Red and Orange line cars to the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority by a year or more, an agency official said Monday, keeping outdated cars in service well into 2024. The pandemic is only one of the reasons why the Chinese manufacturer CRRC Corp. Ltd. is so far behind its contractual obligations, MBTA Deputy General Manager Jeffrey Gonneville said during a meeting of the agency’s control board. CRRC has had difficulties maintaining staffing levels and sourcing materials and has encountered production problems at its Springfield facility, he said. As a result, all 152 new Orange Line cars are not expected to be ready until April 2023. Under CRRC’s contract with the MBTA, they are supposed to be ready by January 2022. Similarly, the 252 Red Line cars are not expected to be completed until September 2024, 12 months behind its contractual deadline. The MBTA ordered the new cars to make service more frequent and to increase passenger capacity on the two lines. While capacity isn’t as much an issue at the moment, given how Covid-19 has limited ridership, trains are expected to return much closer to pre-pandemic levels once a coronavirus vaccine or treatment is available. Some of the current cars, already considered substantially out-of-date, will need to be kept running for at least a year longer, potentially leading to more maintenance issues for an agency beleaguered by a dramatic revenue drop-off. “We are obviously not happy about the schedule and not happy about the delays,” Gonneville said. “We are and will continue to have to maintain our fleet for longer than we were obviously anticipating having to do as a result of this.” The MBTA is doing what it can to push CRRC closer to schedule, according to Gonneville, including by embedding personnel at CRRC’s Springfield plant. Under the contact, the agency can fine the company $500 per day per car for the delays. It plans to assess fines at the end of the contract, Gonneville said, after it determines which delays were CRRC’s responsibility. So far, 24 new Orange Line cars have been delivered to the MBTA, with the first cars going into operation in the summer of 2019, though at points they have been taken out of service. The first Red Line cars are expected to be delivered by the end of 2020.
I wish Lego itself would release more sets like this
Am with ya
Don't they own a majority share in Bricklink now? For all we know this might be their way at appealing to older fans.

This is one of the coolest builds on this channel!👍👍😁😁

And still it was rejected by Lego :(

Many memories! These were castles! The lego castles theme were on this style in the 90's
Thanks for doing this review and letting you take a closer look at this set!
Cool Video! 😁

Cool little towerhouse! It just hurts so bad to see the knight wearing his armour backwards...

I'll be honest am quite jealous
This castle feels more Dark Forestmen than regular Forestmen...
They are not in green with the tiny hat.
Also the smuggler got a hood.
It is a modern variation and mix of the classical LEGO sets: 6054, 6066 and 6077.
this is amazing! I think it would go super well with the black smith set released a year or few ago
Wow that’s new
That's beutiful.

This is a nice build but it feels a little fragile and I noticed that a lot of mistakes were made along the build and it’s a bit weird
