As a day 1 Sindel main I would put her above Johnny. She lacks his mix and consistent pressure but it’s not hard for her to whiff punish him honestly. Also her hair poke and hair sweep is really good and not to mention she can zone him hard. I don’t play Johnny so I’m not 100% sure but I feel like she’s better
super agree, i play her since day 1 as well and i’ve never found johnny to be super hard to counter with her kit, except maybe in like the early days cyrax meta. other than that i feel like she can take him on comfortably
I agree to that hair string move the steps forward then back is impossible to counter and I been elder God since season 1 they use her heavy on Nintendo switch some godlike sindel players there

@@fortunefiderikumo because I’ve fought him plenty of times and have stopped his game plenty of times. He isn’t hard to beat because Sindel’s range and projectiles give her that advantage. I’ve beat many johnnys in my days sooooo
@HephaestusXD I've beaten alot of Johnny's with Lao and Shao that doesn't make them better,the best Sindel(sonicFox) picked up Johnny before final kombat and evo because he couldn't find an answer to counter Johnny in tournaments

Kung Lao is probably the most fun no cap
the only time ive had fun as a zoner was playing robocop in mk11, but that was mostly because i used him as my "fuck you" character whenever people tbagged me or something. nobody played him so nobody knew how to deal with it and the zoning was so cheap that it just sucked to lose to. aside from that, i feel like zoning is so boring to play, especially quan since so much of his gameplan seems to be setup for the zoning.

@ysnwaffles1805 the most fun character is honestly probably johnny. I personally have never played him since i have too much self respect to stoop to that level, but the fact that he has so many mixups that can lead into combos make him a very offense-heavy character, which is usually the fun part of fighting games.
Been saying for ages that quan isn’t all that good and needs a buff.
All you ever get is people saying he’s broken because of his armour but it’s not even that hard to deal with.
His pokes are also slow as fuck, if a half decent player gets you in the corner you’re pretty much fucked.

I hate how all my favorite characters either have shit buttons or lackluster damage.
Raiden needs a buff, they took away his 2 2 4 arial bounce and there are other characters that have a similar combo and do almost 50% or more and they still have their move
They just buffed his teleport tho? If u ex his teleport Ina combo it it's easier to connect and they can't use a breaker at all for the full combo

@@LampRampI agree man I play quan and the most frustrating thing about him is that he always gets out poked and his d2 sucks. They could at least make his pokes similar to everyone else. They also should change the portal move input to the stance switch button. He’s got some good combo potential but the windows are very specific to pull them off.
He does not need buffed lmao. His armor portal set up literally all game into either a easily spaced low or into the instant overhead teleport being safe is stupid ASF combined with his zoning.
And quans down one isn't good but the skeleton pull works perfectly for the gameplan soooo

People try their absolute hardest to sleep on Kung Lao, but it's understandable. Mostly everyone uses the same combo over & over, again. In my opinion, Lao wasn't even nerfed. Yeah, his armor was cheap & useful, but they buffed his combo routes by giving him that hat toss.
His neutral is lacking. His mid does not lead to anything meaningful without using goro. Good zoning but comes with a serious cooldown, and the air hat isn't that great. He needs some sort of range mid like his f22 in MK11 and he'll be perfect.
Everyone uses the same combo over and over because he isn't a character that's based off combos, he is all about meter management and support management.

Raiden and Lee mei is definitely better then kung loa, Melina should be higher then kitana. I like sektor. Her flaw is definitely hard to confirm. Also the fact her teleport doesn't hit low is criminal.
Only thing i would change honestly is Kit down one, Ash up one, and Tanya Up one level.

Well you can say a lot a good things about reptile that’s he is an honest character but at the end must of the tier list place him at the bottom. He needs a little buff because he can be zoned really easy. To make him not broken but a little bit higher. Maybe a better projectile or adjust his hit box, in my opinion

I honestly think Noob as of today is like A tier maybe even B tier cause he can only combo off of most of his strings with like 1 or 2 kameos, he doesn't really have a set play or gameplan that is clear for him yet but I think once people play him more and figure out what is the optimal way to play him, he should be getting into A or even S tier
He definitely has a gameplan, just run away and pop clone all match and when they try to zone back teleport loop, the rest is just the overhead or the low hitting string to confirm

I’d say it’s gotten more balanced these days. Some of the best characters got toned down a lil bit, and some of the worst got buffed in certain ways since then.

Bro baraka is the worst character in the game. Yes you can me mentally impaired and win with baraka but that’s the very point. What’s you figure out the unconscious (average Baraka players genius) then you figure out it’s just high low mix and NOTHING else. Plus you need cyrax or Kano. He has 3 total strings and then there’s noob with like 9 plus more special moves. Yes 2 amazing starters can equalize variety and mix but he just has no mind game just 1 guessing game that pros know frames

shang is not better than raiden or smoke bro, Raiden and sektor is getting 45 off of OH or lows anywhere on the screen, even more in the corner, and even more if the second hit of f43 and the first missile hit on the game frame, can break armor safely and launch from it and can keep pressure as well if they block (storm cell oki os), you cant zone him, 2 great jab strings. theres literally no way shang tsung is better than him

Not mad at it, my only thing is I think if a character is only limited to 1 maybe 2 kameos to be good then its a bad character and should be at the lowest tier.

Basically cuz Ferra gives him overhead/low mix that gives him a full combo (that can even end into another mix) and that with distancing can be safe, a grab, and throw combos.

All you’d have to do against Omni man is block low up closes too his f3 low and react to the overhead and at distance where no low can hit you, stand block and he has not one move he can use at range that can hit you without being heavily reactable. Play Omni man in KL for a week and you’ll feel my pain. It’s obvious you don’t play him a lot. Omni man is only as good as how bad the opponent is whiffing. If they aren’t whiffing ggs dude you ain’t getting a lick of damage in.

You’re heavily overrating peacemaker. Takeda as well. They have massive arsenals, yes. But they’re characters that look good on paper, but in practice they aren’t great. Takeda can be punished on damn near every button. Peacemaker struggles to open opponents up and his damage isn’t high enough to warrant that struggle.

Lao has good pokes? Nah. All his punches have poor range and his down 1 is tragic. His kicks aren't special as far as range either. Then, his projectiles have cooldown. He's not supposed to zone but man are the hat tosses all mediocre.
Also his 50/50 is overrated. It can't combo unless you have goro, who has a trash charge speed, and it has a gap. Yeah you can loop it on hit but thats not really special. Anyone with an overhead knock down and a sweep can do the same (reptile, mileena, raiden, noob).
I think by good pokes he meant d4. Laos d1 is really only supposed to be used to punish an opponents d1 on block for pressure.
