It was my daily ritual after school to watch Sabrina and now I'm curious if the books are also available in German. Then I would also want to read some. 😍 Gavin please take care of yourself and take time for yourself. Even though reading is one of the best hobbies, we all don't want you to get tired of it soon. 💜💜💜
Talk about taking a trip down memory lane. I used to babysit and after I got paid I'd ride my bike down to the bookstore to buy books and this series is one of the ones I'd buy!
Hi. I had read at least 8 and I only remember the first episode the one of all that glitters. Cat tales. And I remember I had good switch bad switch. Thank you for showing them. Sincerely adita. I bought them in Lewiston Idaho in Kay mart. don’t 12:57 and spying eyes and dhow it at the mall.
This intro is just fantastic and the costumes= chefs kiss!. 📚❤ I really liked Sabrina the teenage witch growing up in the 90's as well- Melissa Joan Hart was great as Sabrina.
I too watched Sabrina growing up. It was one of my faves! Never read any of the books though so it was interesting to see how they differed. Sidenote about the fight in the street: reminds me of one year in college when there was this couple in the apartment next door that used to get into fights and me and my roommate used to drop everything we were doing to listen to them. It was an absolute trainwreck, we couldn't tear ourselves away from the drama of it. It ended in this truly heartbreaking fight after she cheated on him and full on crying he asked her "do you even love me?" Ugh, absolutely devastating. We felt bad for listening, but we were too invested not to at that point. We always hoped he found someone better.
Oh man, I watched Sabrina all the time as a kid, and when my son got old enough we watched it together and it was such a great time. This makes me want to watch it again!
Gavin, because of your Goosebumps videos I've been recommended other Goosebumps-related content and I recently watched a video called "The Lost Goosebumps Books" by the channel Kid Leaves Stoop. If you haven't watched it I definitely recommend it!! He goes into some info on how the books were conceived and published, including how they were released on a MONTHLY basis! No wonder RL Stine repeated himself so much!
Ahhh the opening gave me all the nostalgia! I actually forgot about those show until we went on a Caribbean cruise and the cruise ship played very random shows in the cabin like Sabrina and Doogie Howser MD and nothing else LOL one channel. It was fun to watch Sabrina again. I remembered all the episodes you mentioned from when I was a kid, and I really skated on getting to watch these as I wasn’t allowed to watch Harry Potter because my family was extremely religious. I love old nostalgia books as palette cleansers exactly how you describe them- perfect for that. My favorite is the Alice series by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor, I was obsessed with them as a pre-teen. Very Judy Blume. Also love reading Roald Dahl and EB White for childhood faves. Wanted to comment when you mentioned in a vlog you bought the Goosebumps series off of eBay I was able to get an entire series of the Girls of Many Lands books for $25 with shipping (an American Girl series) that I loved as a kid and I’m sooo excited to read them! Thanks for reminding me eBay exists, it was way cheaper to bid on a whole lot of them vs buying individually through thriftbooks.
I find that whenever I write now, the magic system I default to is the Sabrina magic system because that’s what I grew up on! But you're right, it is over simplified and makes for lazy writing, but it’s engrained in my mind.
I think the only book I owned & read from this series was #26 Fortune Cookie Fox. Likely purchased from a Scholastic book fair back in my elementary school days. It’s long gone from my bookshelf though. I did love the show and enjoyed reading the Sabrina snippets within Archie comics.
In India, we had our version of Sabrina in Hindi called ‘Shararat’ (‘Mischief’ in Hindi). This whole ‘show with magical elements’ was my favourite sub genre. Instead of a pineapple, a character is turned into an Eggplant. The Indian version of Harvey aka Dhruv was a hunk too!
I never got into Sabrina…I think I was too young at the time. I do have some vague memories of seeing it in syndication, and I was a bit more acquainted with the spin-off Sabrina: The Animated Series, where Sabrina is voiced by Melissa Joan Hart’s sister Emily, while Melissa voiced the aunts Hilda and Zelda.
That intro! 🔥🔥🔥 I'm glad you stopped before it got unenjoyable for you. Gosh this made me want to rewatch at least a few episodes of this show. I loved it as a kid. (I know I read one about Rome and the glitter one you read in this vlog but otherwise my memory fails me.😞)
I've been rewatching Sabrina recently, so this vlog is perfectly timed!! I feel like you should also read some of the original Sabrina Archie Comics and compare them too!
This has made my day. I have the complete Sabrina DVD collection. I also have the first 5 books in English and in French. I think I have 'Sabrina Goes to Rome' in book format somewhere. I loved the film of that. It was what made me want to go to Rome and see the Trevi fountain ❤️
This video brought back such good memories! I loved Sabrina, and the Halloween episodes were some of my favourites too. I also had an extensive collection of these books. I’m pretty sure I read all of the books in this video, though some of them I don’t remember anything about. Having googled the titles, a few that I remember particularly enjoying were: Scarabian Nights (I loved the Egyptian theme), Age of Aquariums (because she became a mermaid), Sabrina goes to Rome (another novelisation), Switcheroo (Sabrina swapped lives with Libby), Prom Time, and Eight Spells a Week. Of course, take my recommendations with a pinch of salt since I read these as a pre-teen.
I watched Sabrina the Teenage Witch a lot when I was a teenager. Amazing vlog, I loved the intro ❤! I think my favourite episode is the one where Sabrina and her class go to the town Salem and she gets put on trial, but it's also possible that is just the one I've seen the most (I looked it up, The Crucible, ep 23 of season 1). I think here the first season got shown / repeated the most on TV, so I've seen season 1 the most, maybe? I do have the boxset of all the seasons and I have seen the later seasons as well, but that's what I think I remember, the seasons where she's in high school I've seen more often especially the earlier ones. I have a couple of the books, it will be fun to read them as a nostalgic thing. Yes I loved those cheaper-paperbacks-to-go-with-TV-shows-books, ahh the nostalgia.
Loved the intro... where's that darn Oscar 🙃🌈💜📚 I'm 35 and this takes me back!!! Sabrina the teenage witch, Charmed and yes Dawson's Creek...and I collected all the books too. In my opinion The Craft, the original movie please...😄👌💜🧙 Salem was the ultimate cat goals...infinite sarcasm 😻😻😻
OMGGG Gavin this is pure perfection. I just started my annual rewatching of the tv show just in time for fall and I couldn't have asked for a better video. 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
I wasn't able to watch the episodes with you guys but Sabrina Saturday was the most fun Patreon event I've been to for your channel. So fun! This intro was everything! Your shelves look amazing.
I remember reading some Sabrina books! I remember one where she babysits a baby and she turns him man sized. I remember the episode, too, they were both really weird. EDIT never mind you talk about it! I commented too soon.
I saw a couple of episodes a long time ago but I have never read a Sabrina book. I was older and very busy including touring a lot and I did not have time to read much at all. I watched the Charmed TV series because it was videotaped for me.
I love your video 💜😊👍🏽 I have 15 Sabrina books that are keepers and overall so far I’ve had/read 29 of the 55 books I enjoy them a lot and get excited about getting to read a new one cuz you never know what you’ll get with them and that def makes for a non boring experience..even any ones I wasn’t a fan of, since they’re nice and short I have been able to read through every one I’ve read and it’s fun to be able to dive right in. I am currently interested in them again as I have ordered some, read through them leisurely and like you say they’re nice when you just want a nice light read here and there and something different. I started another list again and have 12 Sabrina books added to it and one of salems tails added I have not read any in that series yet. So a total of 13 on my next get list. It’s fun to compare your reviews of them to my own and I just love your video thanks for posting Also, if I could just add, I may have a low key crush on you and your video Love your displays and it looks like you have a ton of interesting books in your collection I’d love to peruse. Ps the icing on the cake, you’re handsome and I love your accent 😅💜😍 Haha okay moving on.. 👍🏽
OMG this is my childhood ! I used to watch this every day after school. And I had some of the books (but french editions) as well. They were some of the few books I read as a child. I wasn't such a fan of reading back then. But those, I remember reading and rereading them. And I had a couple that were focused on Salem the cat, and there were cats on the bottom of the pages. And when you flipped through the pages the cat was running.
I loved this show so much and that intro Gavin was amazing! I don't have a favorite episode because I loved too many but my favorite book was haunts in the house which was also a Halloween book but I did laugh during that book but I was also 12 so I may have to reread it as well
Ill never get tired of Gavin's costumes
I know right
I can't think of anything more british than the whole household hiding by the windows so you can hear your neighbors kicking off 😂
It's truly the British way of life 😂
Gavin, you are a ‘90s Icon and we love you for it!
The fact u carried on filming halfway through the fight on the street? Iconic. Restraint I don’t have 😂😂
Came for the love of Sabrina, stayed for the iconic intro 😎
I swear the amount of editing you must've learnt just for all these damn skits? King. King behaviour
I just rewatched Sabrina in 2020 for comfort ✨ and it truly gave me the comfort I needed!
Okay the intro already has me in tears. How your name just kept popping up again and again for the credits. Im deceased
It was my daily ritual after school to watch Sabrina and now I'm curious if the books are also available in German. Then I would also want to read some. 😍
Gavin please take care of yourself and take time for yourself. Even though reading is one of the best hobbies, we all don't want you to get tired of it soon. 💜💜💜
They definitely had books for the series in German too
OMG THÉ INTRO SÉQUENCE! You have outdone yourself, dear Sir ❤
I’m loving for Gavin’s Mass Market Paperback Nostalgia Era 😂
I would like to say that they sold them until 2014 in Barnes and noble in Spokane wa.
Best intro you've ever done and I loved the whole vlog. Sabrina was such a big part of my childhood!
I swear I saw an episode where Libby got witchy powers! Also there's an episode where they go to the 60s and I loved it so much
The intro is FLAWLESS 👩🍳💋
I really wanted her spell book when I was a kid! She is so beautiful! But who am I kidding - I still want it!)
Talk about taking a trip down memory lane. I used to babysit and after I got paid I'd ride my bike down to the bookstore to buy books and this series is one of the ones I'd buy!

I started rewatching sabrina because of you and forgot how much I loved the show. I used to watch it all the time as a kid

That iconic opener!
I need to know how the fight ended 😂
oh my gosh those books and even the format and text bring back my teenage and childhood years. loved these and the charmed ones!
If you like Charmed and the books, you should also try Buffy the Vampire Slayer and those books as well!
Ahhh the opening gave me all the nostalgia! How did I not know there were books for this show? I loved it so much.
That intro was perfection👌

I did love the show and enjoyed reading the Sabrina snippets within Archie comics.
Can you do this for all the charmed books?? I used to LOVE those
I am so sad I only know this now 😭
I never read the books but I loved watching the show. I watched the live action and the animated series!
In India, we had our version of Sabrina in Hindi called ‘Shararat’ (‘Mischief’ in Hindi). This whole ‘show with magical elements’ was my favourite sub genre.

The vibes of your Classics Section are ✨I M M A C U L A T E✨

I’m glad you read All That Glitters! It was one of my fav Sabrina books from back in the day haha.
That intro! I’m gagging…I’m dying…I’m dead!!! ☠️
Thank you, Gavin! ❤❤❤
That intro! 🔥🔥🔥
I'm glad you stopped before it got unenjoyable for you. Gosh this made me want to rewatch at least a few episodes of this show. I loved it as a kid. (I know I read one about Rome and the glitter one you read in this vlog but otherwise my memory fails me.😞)
Time to drag out my Sabrina dvds & force my children to love this show as much as I do 👯♀️
Awesome intro! I loved watching Sabrina growing up and this vlog makes me want to go rewatch the series!
I've been rewatching Sabrina recently, so this vlog is perfectly timed!! I feel like you should also read some of the original Sabrina Archie Comics and compare them too!

Ok so I have confirmation that you've seen Supernatural now... So you should totally read their books!!
I watched this for the 90’s nostalgia but loved the street fight and the beautiful classic shelves most of all! 💕
This has made my day. I have the complete Sabrina DVD collection. I also have the first 5 books in English and in French. I think I have 'Sabrina Goes to Rome' in book format somewhere. I loved the film of that. It was what made me want to go to Rome and see the Trevi fountain ❤️

My favorite show of all time, I constantly watch it. That intro is perfect!
It can get tiring binge reading so many books, fun video as always!
This was my absolute favourite TV show back then!! I still want a snarky talking cat bent for world domination
I do remember coming across an ad for ‘Switcheroo’. Something about a social butterfly.
I am complete now haha this is exactly what I needed! Sabrina was my childhood
That intro gave me enough serotonin to get through the week ❤️
It was so fun watching Sabrina together, I haven't seen it in years! Also loved your intro❤️😁
31:14 wait what 😯? As a trekkie my ears perked up real quick. I low key wanna find out what happened.
Two full series reading vlog in a row?? Now that's new!
Gavin your intros never cease to amaze me!!! Also your editing just ah damn so well!❤️🧙🏼

Your intros are always the best! I have not watched Sabrina the teenage witch in years and I need to do a re-watch. I miss the TV series books
You have 2 Salems at home. It all makes sense now lol

Subbed after seeing you on Merphy’s Channel and loved this video. It was relaxing and I even got fight commentary!
I love your video 💜😊👍🏽

Sabrina the Teenage Witch is the best TV show in the 90s I loved it I am so trying to get the books and get the Charmed books
I loved this and now I want to rewatch the show!
OMG this is my childhood !

Love this. Will there be a Sabrina part 2
it's only the intro and i'm already crying 😂
My mother checked out the Halloween one for me from the library 20 some years ago. I seem to remember broom riding in space?
Watched the intro. Stayed for the interview.
I loved this show so much and that intro Gavin was amazing! I don't have a favorite episode because I loved too many but my favorite book was haunts in the house which was also a Halloween book but I did laugh during that book but I was also 12 so I may have to reread it as well
I love watching sabrina the teenage witch when I was a kid 🥰🙂💖
I loved Sabrina as a kid. I think there was a movie based on the show as well, I remember watching it on vhs. The intro was magic
Is it the Sabrina movie with Ryan Reynolds? That came out before the tv show.
that intro! ICONIC.
i want those charmed books
omg that intro is everything!
Awesome vlog loved watching this.🧡
This intro, so good!
