Great reaction. The video was really funny😂😂 "No vex" means "don't be angry" or "sorry"

😂😂😂@@TheDemouchetsREACT
In this context, "End-Time girl" refers to a girl who is wicked and intends to record him in order to use his image or face for negative spiritual purposes.
You are wrong. The End time Girl is just a sentence he is quoting from the bible. End time is a time of Godlessness. A perilous time when people are being lured to sin. Women will by themselves go after men. A time when righteous are being tempted. A time people won't be trusted. Calling her end time girl simply means she is the kind of girl the devil is using to bring iniquity to the world to the righteous
@@nenitafrica6851 No, you're mistaken in this case. You overlooked my words carefully. I specifically mentioned "in this context." It's clear that the man she was speaking to used that term because he believes she might exploit his image for spiritual harm.
You are both correct as there is element of lack of trust from the man
After about 3 months in Nigeria, it will be easier to start understanding better.. The thing about pidgin is that 1 word could mean different things depending on the context and tone.
The Demouchets, I see you are learning very fast. "Oga" means ...Sir, senior, Mr. (Respect for the men)! Your are correct!
The way my mum used to bargain, sometimes you'll be feeling embarrassed 😂😂😂😂. She'd do it like this lady, after agreeing a price when it's time to pay she'll give a lower amount of money 😂😂😂
I know you said you have a lot to learn but then you guys are getting this Nigerian pidgin so well meeehnn.
Weldone
I enjoyed both the video and your reactions
You need to use pidgin in your everyday conversation to remember some words. You do not need to speak a full sentence in pidgin, just mix it with a few words. You are doing very welll (Una dey try).
I used to only speak pidgin fluently with my grandma but now with my dad who actually lives in New York. I live in London and try to speak to friends back home in Nigeria but most speak proper English.
Thanks for watching! Be sure to like this video, subscribe, and send in videos you would like us to react to: forms.gle/QKTdGbAWbfeGDoSf7
Nigerias independence is October 1st this video is a bit old 😅
The word " OGA" has context.
It depend on how it is used.
It can be used to mean a boss or someone that deserve respect or It can also be used to disrespect you. Eg oga, comot from dis place.
Finally!! Thank you for reacting to this 🥰
Hope you enjoyed it!
@@TheDemouchetsREACT Most definitely
Note that the yam mentioned in your video is not the same as potato, which is also a staple in Nigeria. But the yam mentioned here is a rich tuberous root rich in carbohydrate and minerals. It grows far much bigger than the largest sweet potato of any kind.
Nice one ❤
am addicted to this channel❣❣❣
😂 I'm ROTFL watching as you guys are trying hard to keep up with regular stuff I hear all day in 🇳🇬Naija😄
I really love this ❤❤❤
'Pere' means 'Just or only' and not exactly.
'dey play' means 'keep on deceiving or kidding yourself'
whassup or how far- How are you?
'wetin' can either mean 'what?' or 'something/object'
'no vex' means dont be annoyed/ angry
'chop' means eat
'Abeg' means please in either a nice way or dismissive way
'dey your dey make i dey my dey' means 'stay on your lane and let me stay on mine'
Just learnt something today, "Government name". Sounds good to the ears
Mrs Demouchets u hair is very beautiful ,nice video reaction 😅
Thank you! 😃
Actually its the old yam that taste better not the newly harvested yam. Yam is considered the king of Crops,--mainly cultivated by Men. A man is as rich as his yam barns. Cassava is a women cultivated crop and the mother of root crops in our part of Nigeria.
This is exactly how the Edo/Benin sees the two too!!
The end time girl for me😂😅😂😅
This is my state, my love for Abuja is different, love y'all reaction to this ❤❤
Abuja Is not a state
@@chisomnzeh6249 okay
@@chisomnzeh6249It is interpreted as a state in the constitution. Politicians have made you all think Abuja isn't a state for their selfishness.
Oga means boss, sometimes we use it as a respect.
End time girl, means she is Gen Z 😅, going around making videos and putting it online. He does not want to be on camera lol
"No,..... in this context, an 'End-Time girl' refers to a girl who exhibits devilish behavior and aims to capture his image or face on film to engage in negative spiritual activities."
@osi5838 you are absolutely right 😂
I was shocked when he called me that😂😂😂🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️
@@pidginlovers Have you changed your channel?... I was subscribed to your other channel when you were still in Abuja....
Is that your natural hair sis?
Woahhh
No this time,love.
She said the old yam is sweeter. Cause old yam is actually sweeter
Madam also refers to wife. She was asking after his wife.
Oga means boss, and and can also mean husband. It depends on the context
Lovely couple 💑
Thank you!
Sabi mean you understand.
You want the old yam not the new one y’all. ❤
Pigin nice sha lol 😂
😂😂😂I dey scatter you brains o, if I dey talk talk much to you o....aboki driver o...igbo❤
You be Naija lady 😊
Hey there lovely couple mzansi here ❤
Hey fam!
I love your hair 😍😍
Thank you!
Normally you call people oga in Nigeria if you don’t know their names
By ‘end time girl,’ he meant ‘Millennium Girl.’ As in, annoyance at the antics of Gen Z girls who go around Tik Toking, Instagraming and YouTubing 😂. He couldn’t understand why she was recording while asking where to buy fruits and wanted no part in her end time/millenial/Gen Z craziness! 😅
Vex means angry or annoy… no vex means don’t be angry or don’t get angry.. it can be use in different situations. Example if you trolling on someone to get them annoyed and angry… means you fry vex am.
I hope you understand now.
Of dis be lagos always shine your eye o ...
No vex means “don’t be angry”
❤❤😂
First here lol!
We appreciate you!
Yams are different from Sweet Potatoes. Yams are much larger and they are not as sweet as sweet potatoes.
It's "no vex" which means sorry or am sorry or don't be annoyed or angry.
Am first
We appreciate you!
You’re right, Oga is a male boss, madam is female boss
End time girl means a lot it depend on the which one the guy mean
The new yam is not sweet..
You store them to get the water dry . make's it sweater
No Vex means don't be offended, don't be angry
No vex means don't be angry
No vex means don’t be upset.
If na lagos d driver fit nod u
It's no vex ... Vex means angry. So no vex means don't be angry
No vex = don’t Be angry
No Vex means don't be angry or don't be offended
A Zulu taxi driver would have made a u turn😂😂😂
WASTING HIS GAS?
@@omobanedo9602 Waste his gas while threatening your life. They dont play lthat game
@@vat81 Since you are still trying to logically make sense, u-turn while the passenger is still in the car? What more threat could that be????? Mumu, Ozuo. Call the police, drop that person, or anything! NO U-TURN mumu, Ozuo
@@omobanedo9602 You clearly do not know them. "tyingn to log9cally make sense"?? I dont speak yohr language mumu what. Masingaqhelani umsunu
@@vat81 It only shows your depth of illiteracy, a timid society, period. This is a general, logical reasoning! Nothing to do with speaking language, mumu, ozuo!
When the man that was upset about the camera said abeg abeg abeg? 😂😂😂😂 he was pissed off, a Nigerian would say that like that when they're pissed
No Sabi , is a Portuguese word of eu nao sei .
Where did you get this one from nah?
@@ayokaiyaji3779 I speak Portuguese! and I know the meaning!
Yes it's a word used in the Nigerian pidgin English(a variation of English spoken in Nigeria) which means I don't know, it was borrowed from the Portuguese who came to west Africa precisely Nigeria from the word saber-to know
It was borrowed by the Edo people
End time girl is a negative expression that can be understood as evil person.
Wait a minute! you guys don't have yams, but sweet potatoes? sweet potatoes ain't yam, they're different. Yams are bigger than sweet potatoes, they're dark brown coloured(barklike) skin, and when you peel off the bark-like skin, you'll see it's white edible part
We know. It was as close as our ancestors could remember to yams on the continent.
@@TheDemouchetsREACT Alright. was just telling you because of your responses actually
@@donaldsymmons Okay during the slave trade our ancestors who were taken dem jus bina call sweet potato "yam" Nyam da Fulani wod fa "eat"
Male boss: Oga
Female boss: Madam
What is government name? na Government born una?
She get too much drama.
