    Amazing transformation! 😮
    Seeing a derm in real life is really life changing when you have a more severe skin condition. Even, when it’s really frustrating that you have to see you derm regularly and other people could just wash their faces with dish soap. I‘m on tretinoin for my acne and I only could maintain „perfect skin“ when I go to a medical esthetician one a month.

    Omg. The results are incredible. I just started my dermatica script with tretinoin and hydroquinone. Let's go...

    Can you talk about her maintenance regimen?

    What is the maintenance regimen??? This is the part that always sets me back after I have to come off HQ for a couple months.

    when using hydroquinone, do you only apply it to the spots affected as a spot treatment or all over the face? not asking about specifically her case since hers was all over her face but just in general. excellent job helping her with her melasma.

      @obsidiansickle1 Рік тому +1

      Hydroquinone should only be applied to affected areas. If you have a dark spot on your cheek, then only apply it to that dark spot. The reason the patient in the video put it all over her face is because her melasma was all over.

    What is her after care regimen and can people with rosacea do you clear and brilliant?

    Is the Clear and Brilliant laser safe for darker skin? Would the other treatments you used give a similar result and are they safe for dark skin?

      I had a series of 6 lasers approximately 12 years ago and I am between Fitz V and VI (35 now). Not sure that it made a significant difference or benefit for me at that time.

    You BOTH did it. It takes time and effort to consistently follow a skin regimen.

      I think she made that clear by using “we” and “together” in the video

    Am I alone in thinking her skin in the before image looks just as nice as in the after image? They look different, yes, but what is better about the second image?

    • @Melon29813
      @Melon29813 Рік тому +5

      What's better about the second image is that it likely gives this lady confidence. She's definitely just as beautiful either way, but as someone who has experienced severe acne and the scarring that comes with it, (yes I know melasma and my thing are two different things, but we'll get to why I'm even comparing the two in a second.) Changes like this can make you feel like you're not even yourself. Now I can look back at old pictures of me and think "you know, that girl is beautiful", I truly didn't think that back at the time. I felt ugly even when others said I wasn't. I didn't feel like I was in my own skin. I didn't feel normal. In my humble opinion as someone who has been to a place where they want to fix their skin, the patient's mental well being is always what's better about the 2nd picture. I think a lot of people think you're not happy unless your skin is perfect, but I bet this lady is beaming with her results, especially with the fact she let Dr. Sam even post these.

      We’re our own worst critic. When you look in the mirror, you’ll tend to laser focus on “flaws” that other people don’t even notice or care about. What looks like a small change to us is a big confidence boost for her :)

    Can you please speak on the brands Eminence, Peach and Lily, Sunday Riley, Drunk Elephant, Indie Lee, and Lancome?? I'm having a hard time picking skin care and I like all of them but I don't know if any are better than the other or worth the money. I'm doing a lot of research but I'd like to know your input!!

    When using triluma (I mix Tretinoin, desonide, and hydroquinone 4%- wish I had 8%), what is the length of time you need to refrain after the four months (I was told no more than three) so as to avoid rebound / greater hyperpigmentation?

    • @TheMeme191
      @TheMeme191 Рік тому

      Be careful with triluma. I have used triluma/ got great result at first. after I stopped after 8 weeks for a break, I had rebound from triluma. my melasma got worst than before. Never do it again.

    Hi, can you please answer to this and help me? I have gotten triamcinolone acetonide with azaleic acid for my melasma. I am 24 and have a lot of spots. I am very sad and can't find anywhere if the cream I got does something for anyone with melasma. Does someone know this? I can't use Hydroquinone because I am between skiptype 1-3...

      I'm also noticing this. We see two different sides of her face so it's hard to judge objectively, but I also have the feeling het face is less "full". Both beautiful though!
