Solid video my guy. This is pretty much how we do it. I'm doing this at my place of business almost everyday now. It the time of the season. I have a few small bits of advice to give. Make sure you put enough antifreeze down all the fixture drains to prevent the drain traps from freezing. People think they are wasting antifreeze running it down the drain but your actually winterizing the traps. If you decide to not use compressed air to clear the lines, you take a chance in freezing the city water inlet check valve. Once you pump antifreeze through the entire system shut off the pump and open a faucet to relieve all pressure from the system. The pressure must be relieved first! Then at the city water inlet remove the screen washer. Carefully push inward on the spring loaded plastic check valve and drain the water out until you see pink antifreeze. This is overlooked by many DIY people. I can't tell you how many city water inlets I've replaced because of a cracked check valve from not blowing this out with air. Last thing is always pull the pressure relief valve on the water heater before removing the anode rod to prevent getting soaked. It happens to all of us at least once. 😆 I learned my lesson 22 years ago when I first started at my job and it was in the mid 30's outside. I wore those wet clothes all day. Never happened again 😊
As an Ohioan with a 2020 Catalina camper I wish I had this vid 4 years ago when I was learning about winterizing. For two years I paid a guy to do it ($50 so not robbery) but I do it myself now. Great vid 👍🏼
