Tip on eggs. Instead of trying to flip them, put a little water in the pan and then cover it with a lid or some foil…perfect unbroken eggs. Cook to your liking…hard or runny.

Hello Catherine. I have been watching your channel for about 2 years now and, not only have I enjoyed it, but you have helped, directed and inspired my spouse's and my hiking adventures. For example, for my 67th birthday last year we spent 4 days in the Mammoth area hiking, Parker Lake, Little Lakes Valley and Emerald Lake - all based on your videos and descriptions. It was perfect and awesome! Thank you!! A couple of episodes ago you commented about how hard it is sometimes to read and emotionally deal with negative comments. Although sometimes I know it can be difficult, please don't let them pull you down. There are1000% more of us out here who really appreciate the quality of your work and know you are wonderful. Maybe we will see you on a Sierra trail some day! But for sure, will see you on UA-cam every week. Thank you!!

Have you seen the small portable Fireplaces? They don't use gas or fire/wood. They have small crystal like beads that light up to look like a natural flame. I'm pretty sure that's how they work.
I've seen them for sale in Big Lots, Bealls, Walmart, usually under $200. Some are electric and push out heat which could save on your camper heater while looking gorgeous and calming.
I hope to be doing similar to what you're doing soon!
I have most of all my camping supplies but still shopping for the right RV.

Normally I'm not really a fan of snow. But I think I could spend an entire winter out there with someone like you Cat. You make snow, a thing that I don't like to see, more welcoming and comfortable than I've ever seen. Beautiful way to wake up with my morning cup of coffee. Thanks Cat.

Its funny how my sister and I are die-hard Joey fans we've watched and re-watched My Own Frontier almost to rediculousness and still would if the channel was up. We first saw you on his channel doing a Grand Canyon hike, then you and Joey became a "thing" then that broke our hearts when you parted.....I mean seriously sad....but look at you both now.... that's a solid "thing" that's come full circle. Nothing better than what I call a spring snow. Temps not too far below 30 but you get the blanket of snow that is so beautiful. Like a warm insulating blanket. Great place to hunker down for a few relaxing days. I’m sure your little trailer heater kept you toasty. Thanks for your posts

I'm in the La Plats. 2 weeks ago we had 65 degrees at 7000 feet. Now, 4 days of snow has brought us 10 inches. Very wet. Mother Nature is a maaaaad scientist.

I've twice experienced desert mountain snow. Awesome. First time was in late June. Driving from Bishop to Bridgeport. The summer rain in the Owens Valley became summer snow by the time I hit Deadman Summit. When I got to Bridgeport, I jut on the winter coat I'd brought! I remember the date. June 24th. My mother's birthday. When I called her that evening, she was surprised at the weather! We had 4" if snow that night. Walking back to the motel from Rhino's was like walking in a Christmas card! The next time was in March. I took my bonus to escape Snowmegedden in VA. Arriving at LAX was nice. Drove up to LP for a couple of days before heading to Bridgeport for a few. Once beyond Sherwin Summit, I saw the snow accumulation. It snowed so much Sunday after church that CHP closed 395 just south of town. Fortunately, they re-opened it the next day so I could start making my way south to LAX. The was a good video. I suggest that you save the B-roll stuff for a Christmas video. May Almighty God continue to Bless, Guard, Guide, Protect, and provide for you in your adventures! 73!

Oh my, I was a weekend skier at SnowBasin and Nordic Valley 1981-1984. From Ogden to either one I was there inside 25 mins. One weekend day I took my date up to snowbasin in my 1963 GMC pickup. However we didn't make it there cause my engine spun a ring and threw a rod out. A very short date. Weekend lift tickets was $15.00 and parking was $5.00 back then. Out of curiosity, I looked up today's prices and about fell off my seat. That was for senior lift tickets!!

Utah 12 is one of the most awesome roads in the country. And 24 from Torrey through Capitol Reef to Hanksville and then the long straightaway up to Green River makes it a perfect day.

Was at South Rim of Grand Canyon last wk of Feb. Brown, orange , gold colors, mixed with green bushes and cacti.....a beautiful site with snow all around. End of March....leaving home base in Ore., going down to New Mex. to tour..... Billy the Kid and Pat Garret area, then down to border where Poncho Villa entered USA in attempt to gain southwest.

You are much braver than me. I was at the Pierce Ferry in Northern Arizona and got hit by some of that storm .. I had been at Death Valley and got hit but unbelievable winds .. I even had to drop the top on my Four Wheel Camper as I was about to become Dorothy on my way to Oz! Born and raised in Northern Minnesota, snow and cold are not my favorites. Actually going to head towards Moab and Escalante in a month or so when temps are more stable. Thanks for the cooking you do .. I now have a 12" skillet because of you .. didn't think I needed it until I decided to make a batch of scrambled hamburger and needed to cook up a lb of hamburger. I'm learning! I also have a new mattress! I went from a queen size to a sleeping bag size mattress that folds. I use the extra space for storage, which is at a premium on the Swift 4Wheel Camper .. 🤠
