Honestly even when I think of places in my city where one could go to see the highest density of young people in their best trendy/fashionable clothes it is still nothing compared to this, not even a fraction of a fraction 😭 my city isn't very big or special, so seeing fashionable areas of the truly big and iconic cities makes me so happy and also jealous lol

I also come from one of the safest countries in the world (in many regards the absolute safest) and when I was visiting Germany (that is much safer than NYC) I had terrible experience all three times I used Subway :/ I guess you get used to where you live the most
