I remember the rain and thunder as a child in the 90`s in England, it would last hours or
maybe that was my child brain processing time.
Watching this reminds me of that time, now we lucky to have two flashes of lighting and one crack of thunder.....

yep same here in Germany.
We used to have two hot days at most and then a long thunderstorm in the evening.
now its weeks of insanely hot weather and very localized super cells that absolutely flood the area while other areas stay completely dry and go back to being very hot the next day.
Totally agree. I remember as a kid in the fall with all the colors and it would rain and it felt like it lasted forever and it was amazing.

Prior to the Plaza Accord, Japan was poised to be number 1 country in the world, but a certain "country" didnt want that, hence the Plaza Accord.
What you saw in Blade Runner (the original) is a future world based on what would have happened if the future had Japan as the number 1 country. Specifically 1980s Japan (when Japan is at its richest) before their economy burst, thanks to that accord.

I love walking in the rain. Very beautiful bright video. It is pleasant to watch and listen to the sound of rain. People walk so calmly in the pouring rain. Why? Are they used to it? Do such torrential rains often occur in Japan? Here in Ukraine, prolonged rains are very rare. Therefore, people prefer to hide under the roof and wait out the rain.
