Cool way to explain the flex of rods, every angler needs to know the ability of their rod not every rod can throw big baits ….thanks for your time 54 👏
Thanks for watching Phil. We do a similar comparison between a bunch of different rods to see how they all handle a 2 pound static weight. I'll put that one our shortly. Appreciate you!
Thanks for watching! I have a few different rods with revo reel seats and find myself always reaching for them. Currently I only have it on one Chaos rod, a MOAB and I use it for almost every application.
Cool comparison, thanks. My son and I are good for casting rods for a while, but we are looking for trolling rods, and the local tackle shop has several different Chaos Musky Trolling Rods. Looking for something good for Jakes and Headlocks / Mattlocks. Any suggestions on length or type? thanks!!
Thanks for watching Dean! I have some 8' one piece trolling chaos rods and Adobe 9' two piece chaos trolling rods. Both are solid options. And I don't see any negatives on the two piece rods. In fact I keep one split apart and set up in a compartment of the boat 'just in case' we troll. One consideration, check the fit of the handles into your rod holders of choice. They don't fit every rod holder type. Appreciate you always taking the time to comment!👊
Interesting explanation 👍🏻 What action would you suggest for an all around rod? swat or shock and awe. Pretty close on the oz low end but big difference for heavier lures.
The shock & Awe could be the best all around rod out there. Don't overlook the MOAB. I find it to be able to handle pretty much anything. It will feature in our upcoming Gear of the Year video
Looking to buy a new rod for blades and topwater. Would would you go with the swat or shock and awe? Typically don't throw much bigger then cannonball jr and double 10s. Thanks in advance. Love the channel
James, appreciate you watching the channel! You really can't go wrong with either, that being said I feel the Shock and Awe could be the best all around rod in the industry! I would recommend a 9' S&A. Look into the Revo reel seat, or try hold one first. We really like ours and will have a full season review coming in October!
That was a super creative way to showcase the action, props to you on that idea!
Thanks Matt, I know it doesn't account for the 'feel' of a rod, but it does show that both series are virtually identical in flex properties.
Love the Assault Stick 20/20, great musky rod.
Couldn't agree more! Thx for watching buddy!

Nice little video! Thanks for the comparison. Any opinions on the revolution reel seats?
