They truly are "gentle giants". There are several breeds that people make that claim about, and in most cases I don't agree, but Newfies truly can make claim to that. They have
tremendous temperaments and delightful personalities.
I've only ever seen black Newfoundlands before. Now I need one in every colour!

Awwww, I’m so sorry. We’ve lost 3 male Newfs. It hurt our hearts. We now have a girl newfoundland. 🐾🐾💕Her name is Nada Bear and she’s smart and very funny.
We have had 4 Newfis so are biased. The most wonderful loyal dogs.

Your goofie. Neufies are great in the house❤. They are very gentle and protective of all their family members. I don't live in the best of neighborhood. I let my neufiie out at 3 AM one night. And heard screaming, chanced some guy trying to get in the neighbors garage. That guy busted his cahonies going over the fence. Phinneus got a big treat from the neighbor the next day. I always felt much safer with Phinneus in the house at night. If he thought I was in danger , he'd go between the threat and me. On time he stood on his hind legs and looked the guy in the eyes with one paw on each shoulder. ❤❤❤❤❤
