When I was a teenager on way to school I went past junkyard that had a german shepherd guard dog , by him seeing me every day and I wasn't afraid of him I eventually gained his trust (without giving him food ) and he waited for me every day with tail wagging !
Our family had a beautiful female GS, Xena. She was so playful, especially with squeaky toys and tennis balls. I brought home a little pit/mix fellow and those 2 would play for hours. Of course we named him Hercules lol. Xena loved to be outside unless it rained, she didn’t like getting her feet wet. But she would play in snow for hours. She gave us 12 years of fun, laughs and unconditional love.
It was a runt German Shepherd owned by a teacher I lived with for part of 7th grade who taught me not to be afraid of dogs. Blitz wasn’t very large, chased and brought back only stones, she had a crooked tail and she always had one ear up and one ear flopped down. Blitz had a lot of room to run and play because she lived in the country. Being a city girl it was an adjustment for me because it so quiet. I never had a dog as a kid but the responsibility of feeding Blitz was mine.
I was too young to remember but my Dad brought his German Shepherd into his and my mom’s marriage. Rinnie laid in the hallway between my and my brothers bedrooms every night. He was hit and killed by a car. My Dad still misses that dog.
A German Shepherd big puppy on shoulders is the best cooking supervisor ever. Give that dog a raise! Kinda funny also because when I do my bills by phone and I’m all stretched out on my stomach one or the other of my cats rests on my back in supervision.
When i met my husband years ago,we were courting, was then 2yrs pass then we decided to have a German shepherd puppy, then we got married, never without a German shepherd dog, when we had children they were very gentle with all the family,64yrs has passed, but my husband was not well,if he could he would have another but unfortunately he said, it's time to retire off them,a very lovely and loyal dogs LV ❤❤❤❤❤
Excellent advice. The only times I had one German Shepherd is when one had to go to Rainbow Bridge. Dogs would become fast friend with cat. We would always find an awesome German Shepherd. They absolutely love to play! Dogs always loved our cats. From Diane
All our GSD's (13 not all of once) were gainfully employed as confetti makers woe betides any tissue they found, small business to earn money to pay for extra treats.Very enterprising! x
Great video, made me laugh. I have two young GSD's, a male and female. Such an intelligent and breed , you can teach them pretty much anything, yet so goofy and funny at the same time!
Years before my Ping (Jap.Akita/GS) I had a bichon. She saw a GS pick up a huge branch in its mouth & run with it . She thought, I can do that’s. She had many attempts but, she couldn’t! Just figure it out Tor, you’re little; he’s big, no chance. JaneR

German shepherds are the greatest dog breed on the planet. Only the golden retriever comes close, and it is still a distant 2nd...

I tell my long haired gsd I’m hiring her out as a shedder and shredder although tbh I’m not sure there’s a huge market for this
All our GSDs were rescue, funny enough, most long haired, many different ages, colours, but we loved them all, yours sounds particularly talented x
😂😂❤❤❤

Think about how strong that dogs neck and back are to carry that log. Also his jaw is insanely strong too
They cracked me up❤❤❤❤
Those dogs when they roll like that are coating themselves with spoor or scat from other animals.
German sheperds aren't toys. they're better than most of the people in this video. Show a bit of respect.
This video would be better off without the weird narration.
