Sorry Airstream, no go. After owning 3 airstreams from the 70's the new one's are cold and sterile like a hospital surgical room. Cheap pull down shades. Airstreams use to be a classic, but not anymore.
I remember camping with my family during the 1960s and 1970s and how the airstreams were the pinnacle of design and luxury. There is only so much Airstream can do with their exterior design if they want to keep the iconic shape and look - I strongly suggest that they keep their clean exterior design because it is what differentiates Airstream from box design campers. So, the key to Airstream modernization is their interior design. I just wasn’t impressed with the interior design look of the 2024 30 RB in this video.
I like these, of course would like to have one. What I don’t understand is why something that costs over a hundred & seventy thousand dollars still has no washer/dryer.
I love my 25ft Flying Cloud. I have a Newfie and a black Lab. My wife and I with the dogs have more than enough room. I've had it for 4 years and people still ask me if I'd sell it lol. Answer is always no. BTW, I did look at slide-out type RVs, but I've seen a number of people having issues. Anyhow, love travelling and Airstreams are very easy to setup and pack up. Good travels all.
At 4:18 "You get three tubs from Airstream, which is nice." Wow, how generous! You pay $150,000 for this trailer and instead of building pullout drawers, AirStream gives you 3 plastic tubs, $9.99 each from Amazon, but don't worry, they're included with the purchase price!
Airstream sucks.. as an Rv technician they are a nightmare to work on..and who wants to tow a heavy cramped Rv in the shape of a cave….there are much nicer rvs out there with useful comfortable features at competitive pricing
Airstream needs to reverse the floor plan so that the dinette is on the “camp side” so that you have more windows on that side vice the current layout. I don’t want to look at the neighbors camp.
But when I’m boondocking, I don’t want to have my view blocked by the awning. I’d rather enjoy a beautiful view out the windows on the driver’s side. 😀
Do the math: $170,000 divided by $9,000.00 (three car vacations per year at $3,000 each) equals 18 years. And $3,000.00 is a lot of $$ for our small family. We travel to the Drury Hotels were they offer free (and generous) breakfast and dinner. Plus, to store this monster will be at least $500.00 / month in Southern Calif. That would be an additional $30,000.00 per five years!!!
After walking through several, they do have incredibly thoughtful storage interior wise. But if you’re wanting to bring your entire house with you (which isn’t the point of camping) this isn’t the one for you.
The older models were way more attractive. The wood paneling inside was epic and totally associated with Airstream trailers. These new ones look cheap and have no character. All monochromatic and cold. Not welcoming and art deco. Nah.
I guess that’s a no. I boon dock and don’t have constant water! Useless. I need water storage. Solar isn’t great either. On such an expensive until, it should be up to date on solar 900-1200 watts. Oh but it’s pretty..🙄
I think that backlighting inside the cabinets is just a little too bright. They need to bring it down a little. I only need to see what’s in the cabinet and not be blinded when I open it. Things I love: Good storage , like the solar and tankless water heater and even though I am married could live with the twin beds.
We just got a van camper and I have to say the wet bath is not as bad as I’d imagined. It’s certainly nice to have a separate shower, but depending on where we stay, we use the camp bathrooms a lot
I don’t like the split shower across the hall from the bathroom. We had a smaller trailer than this and the sink, toilet and shower were all in the same bathroom. All the other features were nice.
I always loved the Airstream for its shape and potential longevity. Now it’s way behind the interiors of virtually every other caravan with its cheap design and poor materials. If you really travel the country it’s completely inadequate for the weather extremes that are very likely to become worse. Both the air conditioning and heating systems are antiquated and unsustainable for more than a few days. Personally if I really wanted one I’d buy a used unit in good condition and completely replace the entire interior with quality and luxury to meet today’s needs. I’m hoping that the Airstream manufacturers will have a complete rethink on their products.
@@garyflick9172 You obviously have a link with Airstream and I have seen every remark. You are a very rude person and should keep your opinions to yourself! Of course I’ve owned an airstream but that was before their demise. They have zero chance of making their sales objectives if this is their best product.
@@lorrieleaver2447 I wish nothing but the best for you in your fantasy life. Maybe one day you’ll wake up and realize that nearly all manufacturers are being blasted for horrible quality issues. By the way, one of us is absolutely acting like a troll, and it’s not me. Congratulations.

Really cheaped out on the storage! Plastic bins everywhere for storage, seriously a let down in every way. This is an Airstream with Motel 6 styling.
Silver bullet should be called gold eagle because you are gonna need at least 50 oz of the gold metal to pay for a tow behind.. but they are pretty

Or an engine.
My cousin had one in the 60s, it was beautiful. I would buy older and renovate.
There’s an incredible restoration guy in Birchwood, TN that does Airstreams.
Airstream quality has gone to the birds. Better buy one ten + years or older. Watch videos on the new ones quality has gone down.

It's an Airstream. You buy it because it's expensive. Nobody buys a $2 million dollar car because it's worth $2 million dollars.
It is a winner! Big time, winner.

The old airstream models were so much nicer. I wouldn't give you thanks for one of these especially with that pain in the butt lithium battery.
Airstream needs to reverse the floor plan so that the dinette is on the “camp side” so that you have more windows on that side vice the current layout. I don’t want to look at the neighbors camp.
That would also put the exhaust for the water heater and furnace on the non-camp side. That's another plus.
But when I’m boondocking, I don’t want to have my view blocked by the awning. I’d rather enjoy a beautiful view out the windows on the driver’s side. 😀
It looks ugly and outdated compared to my beautiful Polar caravan. 😊

넘 환상적인 이동 하우스 입니다
They must have the worst storage of any RV I've ever seen. It must be all about owning an Airstream, because I don't see the appeal.
Good, don’t buy one.
The whole point of an RV is “leaving most (if not ALL) of it behind. Reality isn’t solely YOUR domain.
Stop moaning. It is more than enough. Learn how to pack and prioritize better.

Neither do I; not only that, but they are outrageously expensive to boot!
It's made by Thor Industries.
No thanks.
Thor owns them they dont make it
@@garyflick9172 That’s too complicated to understand for most internet trolls. : (
Nice camper with lots of storage.
Alittle larger, with Mini washer & dryer combo...?
It strikes me that Airstream built a truck camper & a motor home back in the 70ies ? Did they in fact build them, or am I in my dotage ?
It reminds me of the 40's diners you see in film noirs
Those curtains look horrendous use a curvature shade like you used to have
Bigger bathroom instead of huge twin bed master bedroom would be nicer.
The older models were way more attractive. The wood paneling inside was epic and totally associated with Airstream trailers. These new ones look cheap and have no character. All monochromatic and cold. Not welcoming and art deco. Nah.
overpriced

I like the trailer but I think the dining area should be on the other side.

Since we live in one on one of our rental properties, it works out well.
No house payments. No mortgage.
We live below our income .
We are debt free .
Awful music. 👎🏽

Spartan - And Darn Proud of it ! Cover mileage better than Most - if you travel a lot ! 🤔
Just remember, when going camping...take a can opener in case you need to escape.
How much is it?
a crap ton
Do I have to,sell first two born to be able to afford one of these monsters?
I'd hate to haul it!
Not enough cargo capacity for tge size and price.
