Yeah....I dont know any kids that age that use the term. Some teenage girls might use it with their mom. My son is 9 and has already abandoned "daddy" for dad. So I think it just depends on the kid.....but I dont know any kid after the age of 12 who refers to their parents as mommy and daddy when they are talking to people.

Yes, it is a mental illness because you’d have to be mentally ill if children sexually attract you. But, I’m not so sure on the forgiveness side in this particular type of situation. As for Ken and Buff being ‘too mean’, I’d also have to disagree. These predators were caught in the act of trying to prey upon children. Chris Hansen did have a warrant out for his arrest early in July. He turned himself in, the warrant was for him missing a court date. Upon reading further Hansen had footage of nefarious acts taking place and the defense needed the footage. Hansen has said, "There was miscommunication about a hearing today on the issue. The matter is currently being resolved"

Hansen was given a subpoena to his Michigan house and didn’t know (because he stays in New York) until the day before. He was simply supposed to provide raw footage of a sting he did. He just didn’t have his things together. It’s a civil issue

(This is what I sort of remember, but I’m not 100% sure) Edit: I just read that before that, he had failed to show up to court at one point to be a witness against 3 predators.
You can't be arrested for not showing up to a court date that didn't technically have your name on it. That's an error on either Onision's or the court's end depending on how you look at it.

Yeah....I dont know any kids that age that use the term. Some teenage girls might use it with their mom. My son is 9 and has already abandoned "daddy" for dad. He still flip flops between mom and mommy but I imagine he will be giving mommy up soon. My daughter is 8 and still calls us both mommy and daddy. So I think it just depends on the kid.....but I dont know any kid after the age of 12 who refers to their parents as mommy and daddy when they are talking to people.

However, I must disagree. Yes, it is a mental illness because you’d have to be mentally ill if children sexually attract you. But, I’m not so sure on the forgiveness side in this particular type of situation. It is a very sick thing to do and can destroy someone’s life from a very early age, robbing their innocence and joy from them. I just can’t see myself forgiving something like that. As for Ken and Buff being ‘too mean’, I’d also have to disagree. These predators were caught in the act of trying to prey upon children. Yes they’re actors, but the predators don’t know this until after-the-fact. They initially tend to think they’re chatting with barely teenagers, and go through with meeting in person.
So although I respect your thoughts on this and am so glad you’ve found a way to begin healing, I do have to, as respectfully as possible, disagree with those statements.

Chris Hansen did have a warrant out for his arrest early in July. He turned himself in, the warrant was for him missing a court date. Upon reading further Hansen had footage of nefarious acts taking place and the defense needed the footage. Hansen has said, "There was miscommunication about a hearing today on the issue. The matter is currently being resolved"
yea as far as i have red he wasnt informed propperly of when the hearing was and the issue took less than 40 min to clear up

This one is creepy as hell- In St Louis, we had the case of Shawn Hornbeck and that creep Michael Devlin who help him captive for years, until Devlin went after Ben, another young boy, and both kids got rescued. This case gives me strong Devlin vibes. That DB received 74 life sentences and an additional 2,020 years. Seems almost adequate.

You can't be arrested for not showing up to a court date that didn't technically have your name on it. That's an error on either Onision's or the court's end depending on how you look at it.

I honestly feel like this series is so helpful for so many reasons. Spreads awareness to parents about the dangers and shows the kids that may have been through this, that people are angry with the adult and the kids have nothing to be ashamed of.
