- Hi guys! Today we are removing synthetic wig ear tabs. It's something that I have to do often because I have a small head and sometimes (more often than not) those evil ear tabs cause my wig to lift when I tuck my hair behind my ear. If they bother me as much as you then this is a great wig hack to have up your sleeve!

I've been wearing wigs since i was 15 due to having trich, and I didn't know ANYTHING about wigs. I ruined hard fronts, lace fronts... you name it. It was all trial and error and constant learning about new things. Since discovering your channel, you've really helped me with my wig journey. And as someone who also wears glasses, this is so life changing and helpful. Thank you so much !!!!!

Great video. Thinking about removing some ear tabs- they hurt some times when wearing my glasses. Maybe wig is too. Bog on me. Lol
Definitely helps if your a glasses wearer. I wear contacts usually but when I do have go wear my glasses the ear tabs bother me so much more when they are to flappy. 😊

I so ironic i just did this to my wig before searching this video. It is very helpful i wear glasses and it was annoying i cut it off and it feels so much better. I thought it would mess up my wig but it didn't. Thanks for your confirming video. It was very helpful I am about to cut my other 2 lol. Will be watching your channel for more tips. :)

Amazing informative yas but don’t use hair cutting shears if you want them to stay sharp for hair cutting y’all!
Oh definitely agree they will dull faster and I only use my wig scissors for my wigs. Craft scissors are a great option too! 😊

When you tuck your hair behind your ear, how do you get your hair near the ear hidden? When I tuck my hair behind my ear you can see a small corner of my hair I can get to stay in my cap

I wear glasses and also have a small head. I found the ear tabs were pushing the legs of my glasses into my ears and causing irritation. I cut the tabs off and what a difference. It is my first wig and a cheap one so I wasn't really bothered if I ruined it. It's now so comfortable I nearly went to bed with it on the other night.

Is there a way to make the sides of your wig smaller without cutting the ear tabs off?

How do I hide my sideburns without shaving 🪒 them off? I just always thought the ear tabs were on a wig to go over my sideburns to hide them. I wear glasses 🤓 and that part of my wigs are bulky. Also what if I’m pulling my wig up in a half pony or just clipping the top part up. Also wig caps will not stay on I’ve tried the ones that come with wigs and I have a silicone band type one they all slide up the back and up the front 🤦🏼♀️. Help what am I doing wrong 🤷🏼♀️👀
You can cut around your ears and still leave some to glue down to your sideburns.
Have you tried using got2be glued spray and spraying down the wig cap?

I usually only need to do it once. Just be careful after washing to check them.
Why not use some of the hair you cut off to camouflage the area?
You can definitely repurpose the hair you cut off if you want to.
Thank youuuu! I got the courage up to cut the tabs and then after I saw some of the wefts loosen, I was like "Now what?" 🤷
Question: does the nail glue loosen with washing? If it does, is there any type of glue that won't loosen?

It shouldn’t and hasn’t ever with me especially since your using cold water to wash your wigs b it you can always use gorilla glue super glue instead which is waterproof.
