I would have talked more too but I was busy swinging’ a camera. And she made a comment promoting Matt’s Recovery Ropes! 😉 - she added to Matt’s video here: ua-cam.com/video/W9y6PJtC-7s/v-deo.html
Mat generally manages to catch good camera angles in his editing, without passive onlookers blocking the view. That "kinetic energy" technique is amazingly effective, and very impressive.
Loads of people now getting stuck to solely use the footage to bump up their youtube views. Its actually a pretty solid plan and more power too them. I remember watching this on Matts channel though and it was a real rescue not one of the staged for views ones. Awesome you got to meet some of the crew. You should try some sceney videos around Utah also, seems to bump subscribers and views. Nice to see a customers POV of a recovery. Thanks for uploading
Solid plan? It's a bump up in views of 1 to 3 videos while they're seeing if there is other content they're interested in on the channel. I can guarantee they're not seeing any financial gain or bump in subscribers from 1 MORR cameo video. Now if I'm ever out that way, I'd intentionally get stuck just so I could meet the crew and see em in action.
The hard part about airing down here is that you only drive through about a hundred yards of deeper sand. Most people don’t air down for that short of drive. Going down to the beach is downhill and most people don’t get into trouble until coming back uphill from the beach. Most people just use momentum to get through the deep sand. This side of the sand hill is super deep so most people avoid it. I’ve been almost stuck here in a sxs but was able to back down to the beach and take another line out. I also didn’t drive my Jeep down there because I know it’s too soft of sand.
I just watched this video from Matt last night as a new video that happened a couple days ago, yet you have had it posted for a month. Hmmm 🤔 good camera work though, you could work for him and upload yours sooner
It doesn't take a month to edit. It just makes sense for them to keep a cache of these standard recoveries so they still have something to release on their regular schedule even if they are out of town or nothing more interesting happens that week.
Well Dale, If you read the description, there is a hashtag that says #lifeunedited. This was a behind the scenes recording on the spot without any technical or fancy equipment. Watch some of my other videos and you can see the difference. And where are your videos? "If you have no will to change it, you have no right to criticize it." --Mark Twain
Makes me appreciate Matt's audio and video quality.
Yeah the GoPros have a little sponge that covers the speaker so you don't get wind noise. I'm planning on buying one in a couple of days.
@@michaelpayne1737 Yep, a sponge is a good idea, and they're amazingly cheap too.
I wasn't here to film a professional video. I was using my iPhone to take a "Behind the Scenes" video. #lifeunedited
@@JeffStoker I’m glad you posted it. It’s interesting to see it from a 3rd party. To see how real it is. They’re a pretty amazing crew.
I appreciate that y’all tried to help others.
I love the MORRVAIR!
Thanks for the video, always enjoy watching!
Thanks for watching!
That “rather plump” woman was doing her best to be the centre of attention in this video. I reckon she would make a “good door” but a “bad window”. 😊🤪

I think the camera man was enjoying the view , he constantly panned back to check on her.
@@lethargicmotorsport2025 If you watch the rest of my channel you may find out why I was checking her out! 😄
Matt’s to the rescue.
Yea I came here for the chick with the leopard.. DONK
Me too xD
Thic-ness?

No kidding. Someone wanted some camera time!
@@alexandersupertramp7353 you mean that big caboose?
Since this was my video, I decided to feature my people. :)
Jeff must have never seen a chevy coorvar before. They were a small car built by GM.
I should rephrase that. I know how big a Corvair is but I thought the Morrvair was “taller”
1Trevor1!
B.s.mustbe why you only have 250 subscribers, good luck

That's why I told the stuck people to call Matt! So I could stick around and watch!
It’s cool seeing a behind the scenes if you will
Yup, that was a big behind...
how much did they charge?
The first truck told me it was going to be $150
If they had aired down before going onto the sand the would have been fine, providing they didn’t start driving stupid

Matt's videos rarely mention a date a recovery was made.
Matt's a busy guy and so is his editor. Lol
They mention their timeline from time to time. They don’t release recovery videos as soon as they happen. They need to be edited and pieces together.

Matt’s “official” video:

To much wind noise
Not enough "O's" in your "To". :)
Actually Sand Hollow is almost always windy and there is no wind screen for an iPhone.
Audio, video and editing all suck
