Doing mine now on the 6.7. Called RC and talked with Kylan. He's awesome. They don't offer this for the 6.7. They took the note off of the fitment. He did say some folks made it work. I'm cussing and trying to figure it out. 😂

trash the factory wires . cheep chinese. buy welding cable and heater hose to protect the welding cable. mount the control but up high. as to be safe you should open the hood anyhow. use better metal trailer socket/plug. far longer wire ( like 20 feet long) so you can stand out of the way. i do not believe in the wireless remote control as any and all electronics must accept interference. FCC law. but have a wire rope shop install a proper and safe loop on the end of your wire rope. buy ONLY rated D -rings and components. have more than you think you need. have two extra lengths of cable a good 25 ft and 50 ft.

My 7.3 f350 does great with my 8k lb fifth wheel. Wanting to upgrade to a 12k dry fifth wheel, but a little scared

The wife wanted a Black truck so we swapped this Carbonized Gray Godzilla for an Agate Black F350 Platinum Tremor Power Stroke Diesel with a Marsala Leather Interior. I pulled this same trailer now with both trucks and I'll tell you, YOU WILL NOT REGRET getting the Godzilla - its a BEAST! I only get a few more MPG's with the diesel and it tows as nice as the 7.3 Gasser.

thanks what mpg at 59 mph . i just pulled the trigger on my 24 f350 stx cclb 7.3 4.30 , i hope it snatch the axles out of my 37 foot fifth wheel 3100 pin weight 16900 lbs trailer weight going from 2011 f350 6.2 with 4.30 cclb . going to love the 48 gallon tank vs 35 . at 59 mph i average 8.5 with high of 9 mpg with my 6.2 in 6th gear . what gear are you in at 59 9th or 10th? ill have stock 275/70r18s , i think ill just lock out 10th and do 9th . good video you help me decide when you hit 40 David

Is your truck gas or diesel? RC says this won’t work on a diesel…which makes nonsense at all

I called Rough county today asking about having to trim the upper part of the mount plate next to the radiator. They told me that it’s not a fit for the 6.7 diesel. I did read that some guys have to trim a 1/4 inch off the top. I really want this set up but want to make sure it will work.

never use a open hook on a winch cable. use D-rings. and the factory hooks are junk to start with.

reroute those wires up into a safe location. cover them for there protection.

winches are not made to be quiet.

Yeah but that's also on flat ground. If you have any inclinethat truck must negotiate, your trailer is INTO the back of your cab. No inches left.

Hey Jeff, everyone talks about the towing but what about the breaking on those steep passes ? I live out here in Colorado & have a few very steep & long passes & was wondering how the breaking was ? ? Also I am thinking about getting the Godzilla vs the diesel due to the emissions problems but have heard about the lifters / cam issues of this engine ? ? Any info would be great !
