- According to the scientific community more than 2 million species of plants, animals, and microbes on Earth have been identified, but most experts believe and estimate that there are many millions more waiting to be discovered. Although it will definitely take centuries to discover all these new species, we conducted a humble search and came up with 25 incredible new species discovered in 2014. To be clear, this list involves both living and non-living discoveries.

if you ever feel stupid remember that there are still people out there who think the earth is 2015 years old.
mark faber no stupid person ever thinks that. the only people who think this are mentally ill and its mean to make fun of them.
johnarcheus There are still 5 year olds in the world, remember that.
How To they are just too young and dont even know what 1 year really is, they're not stupid, they just haven't learned about years yet
mark faber well how old do you say it is ?
Alan Stutz billions years old
Where is Juan?!
The Anonymous Sexual Redditor
Lol nice. but seriously?
nice OVERUSED joke
Tied up in my basement
Eating his taco
He quit. But the new narrator is a worthy replacement imo :)
I wish we could stop destroying the habits where these wonderful creatures live.
BryanG dont say we, say they. saying "we" sounds like you're talking about everyone. i bet some people never destroyed anything, me in particular the only animal i killed in my life was a musquito, i drive a an electric car called tesla to not destroy the environment, i go in deserted mountain areas and throw seeds that become trees, and i never waste water, from tab or bottle.
Oops. Poor choice of words. I'll have to be more considerate. 🐵
BryanG lol
BryanG its habitats, not habits.....ffs
johnarcheus mosquitoes are insects, not animals.....
Nice list! :)

Just imagine in a few years we could find dinosaurs and mammoths
Marvelous
so cool 😎
*I knew this already ;)*
You may have heard rumors about these creatures but list25 confirms that they are all real.
Stop being a know-it-all. Heck. We knew these existed before you were born. So stop being a douche or else.
the spider looks like it has an alien on it lol
***** I have noticed you have replaced Juan's narration function. I am wowed by how impeccable your pronounciation skills are; music to my ears!
Alas, I cannot be so blessed. I blame childhood twin language speech impediment, dyslexia, and slight deafness. I also read books voraciously, and came up with my own ideas about how to pronounce certain words. Unfortunately, these initial inner voice audio imaginings stuck far more. And being more advanced than my peers, and adults, in my mileu, I had no one who used this level of vocabulary, to learn from :(
#1 is awesome :)
Big cheese could have bought an extinct dinosaur fossil if RTU gave him back his $200

I liked the dude at the beginning of this channel.

On 22i found that frog a couple years back just walking through the woods
Holy molly just last night at sets cadets my best friend found one of them geckos and know knowing it was only discovered last year it leaves me mind blown. 😎
Amazing life forms are being discover everyday and may continue to do so This planet has so much life imagine discovering an alien planet with and equally large amount of biology how much time would we spend discovering...
#5 is cute!
well, thanks to #10, we are just a few decades away from a real life Jurassic park.
Anzu the Raven Lord!
I had to.
What about Nanuqsaurus Hoglundi?
The pronunciation of Attenborough... Oh gawd...
I saw the spider (number 11) in a science magazine back in 2012
Your point?
its not discovered the year they said
3:45 the hamster wheel spider XD
These aren't new...They've always been here. We just NOW discovered them.
They aren't new creatures, but they new SPECIES.
You have to be given a scientific name to become a species.
that spider is beautiful
Number 3, is known as an Icthyosaur, which they already have found species of.
Ahh the wonders of science.
25 Incredible New Species Discovered in 2015.
Dude at the beginning it sounds like the missed call song
7:45 Take a closer look at that snout!
I am very concerned about that spider we don't know about. O_O
I heard there was a massive sauropod discovered in 2014, forget what it was called though
Ive seen the web formation at #16 in Florida. Just thought it should be said.
I have to admit. Maratus pardus is pretty awesome looking. Even though I a fear of spiders.
Trying to pronounce some of these must have been fun.
#4 is such a savage
#20 all we get is a picture of an eye? DAFUQ! google here i come.
We have so much creatures. They are all very different and interesting....
AUSTRALIA!!
Still no Waldo? -smh-
2:40 that's a stag beetle...
what wobderfull work god have done making all these creature, especialy that half cat half tedybear animal ^^
the "lobster" is actually a yabby and has been discovered ages ago. theres even yabby farms.
You do a video on nature and ALL you have to say about Sir David Attenborough is hes the guy from Jurassic Parks brother!? Kinda rude considering hes been winning awards for narrating/hosting nature docs since the days of Monochrome TV, and still does it in todays HD world!!
on the wierd web it was formed over time from air blowing through !
6:58 I need this animal in my life
'Brother of Jurassic Park actor'
Really, all his documentaries and books. Brother of an actor. Even knighted. Brother of an actor. THAT'S THE THING THAT WOULD STICK OUT AND NOT HIS MAKING EXOTIC NATURE ACCESSIBLE TO PEOPLE AND HIS INSPIRATION TO MANY.
That crayfish at 3:06 is not blue and black. It's white and gold!
YT_add¡cted : Yes the animal's name is wayne rooney.
It would be cool if we found a alive spices of Dinosaur
That spider... Nope
u should put more/better pictures
Ichthyophis is not an earthwork it's a caecillian (limbless amphibian).
9 looks tasty
Where was the drop bears?
2:14 the crocodile - was it alive , or skeleton ? .
2:47 (For 180 years) "Hmmm.... well, what the hell is this thing..." (2014) "Ohhh, it's a new species. I get it now."
Ah, my bad, I didn't catch the fact that it was hidden in storage.
We also have so much new creatures because Australia is only like 300 years old to when the British landed.
This is why I believe in evolution.
Why? These don't prove evolution in anyway why would these make you believe these are just new species being discovered so you probably don't understand what evolution actually is.
Now, new species are awesome. But an entirely new phylum is awesomer.
Good video but I think you should make a new channel for shorter lists
No
Note:read this in a hitler voice and accent
Nien nien nien nien nien nien
That is all
The only ones i found amazing were the peacock spider and the monkey, which I had never seen.
(FUN FACT) it's not overaptorasaurus it's overaptorid
5:40 that spider has a pic of a spider in its colors lol WTF?
Isn't the second one a caecilian
Damn 44 sec and I got it ps. FIRST sorry
Sounds like a more older version of MunchingOrange.
I'm going to take a selfie
The leopard frog doesnt seem like a new discovery, ive seen when i was six and as i was ignorant it just seemed like another frog
1:47 so cute
5:36 ❤️w❤️
seriously? That leopard frog was counted as a new species wtf? saw that frog so many times over the 4 year span here...
6 looks like cane toad with poisonous glands
space mushrooms--BOOOOORRIIIIIING!
#21 so cute
all these new species discovered every year filling very centric niches. And can you believe there are people that still doubt the chance that life evolved some where else in the universe. I think if any think the vast array of species on earth is proof that if there's a will there's a way. I bet the universe is teeming with life forms from one end to the other.
That crayfish is white and gold
Your trying to tell me Scotland's water is warm???
Australia has em all! Ha
I doubt millions more are out there for species on this Earth. The ocean there's a lot left but for sure not millions.
In the oceans for a species no, as you go deeper there is less and less and less kinds of living organisms. I see so far we have 8.7 million total and still more to show, they say there are billions since the Earth began even though most will never be found because everything disappears with time. I can see thousands but millions in the deeper depths, beyond doubtful. Something lives down there for sure but it won't come close to what's on land or in the shallow waters. But only time will tell.
I love Australia
