Sharks are my favorite creatures to learn about. I wish I could go back in time and check out these prehistoric sharks.
I just needed to know more about the helicopren shark.
helicoprion is a fossilised shark
maybe im wrong but beaver said it
Oooooo
Ok
@Madalin Grama no need to cuss dude
For #10, we are told the hybodus preyed on 'whales'. We're also told that they went extinct 66 million years ago. 66 million years ago, whales had not yet evolved.
Science is a lie maybe I don't know what's real anymore
Also, I don't get number 8. How do they know it had scales when all we have is their teeth?
@@br.jesseochoagonzalez1705 placoid scales, that's they are known for
I love how accurate your facts are. My only problem is that what ur talking about doesn't always match the pictures
Lol! I LUV the random picture to keep us entertained!
7:11 looks similar to the prehistoric frilled shark. Cladoselache relative 🤔
Nice Video!,it really chilled down my spine😂
10:01 This narrator is playing ARK, she thought we wouldn't notice, but we did.
Seriously though nice use of ARK footage of the Megalodon XD
Ya i love your videos I look forward to seeing them every weekend mornings keep up the good work you're doing great ☺🙂
Luis Carrasco euyxutxjtc😋😍
Brilliant brilliant video I love sharks thanks Katrina
I think that nearly every "monster" is still alive, somewhere
It's true something of them
Agree. The ocean is a pretty big place and only 5% of the ocean has been discovered after all
Elias Löscher birds :D
There’s one I don’t agree on and it’s megalodon
@@jenniferwright3963 It might be still alive i know it's extinct but some animals came unextinct and plus the largest shark was ever caught was 36 ft and the megalodon can size upabout 60 ft and more.
Oh yes, sharks. My absolute favourite, and absolutely not terryfing whatsoever
Nice video but some of the information is presented in a misleading way. Primarily the part where it is confusing as to whether or not you meant that electro sensory was a skill exclusive to the Scapanorhuynhus, when it is in fact a common trait shared between At least most sharks if not all.
Very intresting! keep going.
Awesome vid guys love your Channel

Was it a different shark or was it cladoselache that was discovered recently to be alive and not extinct
This is a very good video
Love learning about earth and her children. Thank you for this wonderful video. Be well.
Cold Canadian by far
4:58 was anyone else wondering this is where the old Cartoon Network show the snorks came from lol 😂
btw here are some things to take note of
1. The helicoprion is not considered a shark. it is a eugeneodont fish looking shark but actually isn't!
2. the edestus also isn't a shark. it is considered as a holocephalian fish that lived back then.
3. Otodus is a family of sharks. Not just a shark. The Megalodon is known as the O. Megalodon because it was part with the Otodus family of sharks. Also goes with O. Obliquus, O. Sokolovi, O. Chubutensis etc.
Hope this helps!
what background song is this? it really sets the mood when watching these good vids

The first one feels like a filling... =/ I was thinking about Megalodon but the title called for Strangest then I said meh... Megalodon is just a big big version of GW.... and i was thinking the Helicoprion would be no.1.
But still great job Katrina, it is not easy to produce high quality interesting videos on daily basis. Take care!
JoJo Rau OMG I GET IT XXXXXZX
JoJo Rau well my feeling the last shark was goblin shark because of its looks and use of the mouth

Hello i love your chanll
I’m here because of the comment on L’s video. Running them likes up Fam
don't forget to add eagle shark in there, they're really weird
I love sharks. They are the coolest animals ever especially their very very sharp teeth. For my love of sharks I think it's awesome there are many acient sharks. I love sharks so much.
When almost half of all the animals presented aren't even sharks at all.
0:00, what's that from?
Nice video
THIs is cool I love it.
IT IS SO SO COOL
Those are some very strange sharks
How do you know all this?!
The helicotor right? Oh I knew it!
1:09 Whales weren't around at that time. The more accurate one is "Small Marine Reptiles"
Reminds me of street sharks
Is there a xenomorph shark XD
The helicorprian is actually not a shark and is related.
awesome
The helocripoin is a shark who stabbed it's pray by letting a circle of teeth come out of a role
Is there a dunkleostus
Do we know what the first shark to appeal was.
Second if you keep coming up with videos like this I still keep watching

i hate it when people stretch their vids to 10 minutes for the ad rolls.
Name of music?
Wow I can’t believe it
😲😲😲
O God scapnorhuynchus is terrifying
WOW
Don,t forget the Megaladon
the thing at 1:19 is a Mola Mola
and the Mola Mola is A VERY BIG BOI
The scap whatever is just a goblin shark and then they made up the thing to find prey
Edestus reminds me of Marx soul from Kirby.
I watched a prehistoric shark tv show year ago that had a funny looking shark in it and we couldn’t remember the name of it so we always just called it the “chimney head shark” 😂 finally today after years of not knowing the real name of the shark I find out it’s called a stethacanthus. Thanks!
Was it Megladon
@@Nodod192 no I don’t think so the shark literally had this thing coming off it’s head that looked like a chimney
