Dude if we lived back or in the future then and we didn't know about the future or past and we heard about it then it would be really cool to us and ya
I always wanted to tell jokes, but I had pretty severe social anxiety. So, I wrote the jokes down on pieces of paper and taped the paper to frisbees. Then I threw the frisbees at passers by so they could read my jokes. The trouble was, most of them flew right over their heads.
Great list! You clearly did your research with some real oddities here, unlike a lot of lists that just regurgitate the obvious. That's why I love you guys' lists.
+H4WK69 Why yes, yes it is hard to believe these amazing animals lived 6000 years ago. Considering the fact their fossils predate that antiquated belief system - it's downright impossible!
Did he really say Glyptodon was more closely related to turtles than to armadillos?? WTF. Glyptodon was a mammal and certainly not closely related to any reptile...
Also, since I already started the nerdrage: I have no idea why they establish a connection between Arctocyon and Capybaras. They are not more closely related to each other than to any other non-marsupial mammal. This list is pretty much BS.
Pteradostro doesn't seem to have long enough legs for wade fishing, it looks more like it flew low on the water and dipped it's lower jaw, like some birds do nowadays...
+Xspeed999X good on you for studying palaeontology I hope you do well and get a good degree but my granddad is a palaeontologist and he's been studying pterosaurs for 13yrs and hatzegopterix is 18 inches bigger with a slightly smaller wingspan by only 4 inches I know Quetzalcoatlus is more famous but hatzegopterix is bigger
#16; Are you sure they were closely related to turtles? That definitely looks mammalian to me, and turtles are reptilian. The closest common ancestor would be very far back in the evolutionary tree. Since it is presumably a mammal, and turtles are not, and armadillos are, that means that it is far more closely related to armadillos even if it isn't an ancestor.
Well what I CAN say is that #16 is definitely not a direct ancestor of the turtle. They may have some genetic similarities but it is no way part of the evolutionary tree of turtles. Primitive turtles had flatter shells and bodies.
Constricting snakes do NOT crush their prey to death. They constrict the prey to where it can't expand it's chest, therefore suffocating to death. That's why it's called a "constrictor." It constricts its prey.
I'm noticing a trend. Everything used to be huge. Extinction events happened, everything shrank because of less available food. Thank the universe that we got hit by a few asteroids
+MLG Obama Titanaboa at that time was a monster even now it would still rule the area it was in south america also now it would be one of the largest land creatures today X3
+watermelons Ok, if that is the case then we should still have lots of very large creatures roaming the earth today. Or perhaps on the evolutionary time scale we haven't had enough time to grow that large again. What are some of the other reasons that you suggest.
i wouldn't say that the spinosaurus is that weird as everyone knows about it and has been used to it being the largest land carnivore but hardly anyone has heard of the other guys
aww, prehistoric creatures were so much cooler than the ones now
ikr
+max010113 and basically all could easily kill us lol
+max010113 You really want a spino running at ya? Ya could get a car but nope. You could get a boat. But nope. A airplane though!
Dude if we lived back or in the future then and we didn't know about the future or past and we heard about it then it would be really cool to us and ya
they weren't safer but they were cooler

I was hoping there would be a dino I didn't know about...my fav is helicoprion
But none of them are as dangerous or obscure as the creatures known as Humans.
But humans arern't really dangerous to animals our size it is just our brains make us able to make weapons which is the reason we are dangerous.

Hard to believe these existed only 6000 years ago isnt it?
+H4WK69 Hope to fuck you're joking
+H4WK69 Why yes, yes it is hard to believe these amazing animals lived 6000 years ago. Considering the fact their fossils predate that antiquated belief system - it's downright impossible!
AstoundingChaotix ikr
Craig Vanes Well of course! Honestly, that's just common knowledge!
+H4WK69 Because that's not true.
#1, proof that T-Rex would beat Spinosaurus
Did he just say that Glyptodon was related to turtles?
*facepalm* he did, yes he did...
He does know they're actually related to armadillos, right?
Does he even know that armadillos exist?
Glptodon was not related to turtles it was a type of armadillo
Did he really say Glyptodon was more closely related to turtles than to armadillos?? WTF. Glyptodon was a mammal and certainly not closely related to any reptile...
Also, since I already started the nerdrage: I have no idea why they establish a connection between Arctocyon and Capybaras. They are not more closely related to each other than to any other non-marsupial mammal.
This list is pretty much BS.
WHERES MY MEGALODON AT?????!!!!!
+Julie J Megalodon wasn't really that strange when you think about it. Just a big ass shark.
+Julie J in the rockstar game stores
Just pay 100$ for the megalodon
awwww i love spinosaurus
The back spines on the spinosaurus were used to cast a shade, fish are attracted to shady areas as some modern birds use this exact same technique
DAMN dinosaurs were illuminati sacrifices
You should put the list in the information
these are basically real life pokemon
Didn't you already make a similar list some year ago?
+Poseidon yes, yes they did. But I'll still sub
number 12 is a chocobo
also tell me why the mammal glyptodon is more related to turtles
Warning - creationists attempting to disprove evolution with a 200-word puny UA-cam comment incoming.
6:50 Derp shark
Nope nope nope nope nope nope nope nope
we need GIF'S here on you tube
Anyone else had an right-eye seizure at 9:12?
Arctocyon was actually kinda cute.
Damn nature your scary
Makes Final Fantasy more believable.
Amazing how a senior citizen was able to get two of each of these onto a 500 foot DIY boat.
Pteradostro doesn't seem to have long enough legs for wade fishing, it looks more like it flew low on the water and dipped it's lower jaw, like some birds do nowadays...
1:20 what is the titanoboa eating??
a crocodilian.
#5 come from number one country in world!!!!!!
1:16 Don't tell me... Australia?
Btw for number 3 that was a pic of a hatzegopterix which was also bigger than the Quetzalcoatlus
+Xspeed999X good on you for studying palaeontology I hope you do well and get a good degree but my granddad is a palaeontologist and he's been studying pterosaurs for 13yrs and hatzegopterix is 18 inches bigger with a slightly smaller wingspan by only 4 inches I know Quetzalcoatlus is more famous but hatzegopterix is bigger
thats is cool make a new one
Why is everything getting smaller think of how big things were back then and how small they are today
4:30 it looks like it has inbuilt headphones in its head lol
Opabinia looks like something from Spore
The bear dog is Amphicyon not arctocyon. you're thinking of Arctodus, which was a giant bear
hi
Can you please put a bit more effort into pronouncing the names correctly?
Thank you in advance
#16;

trisexualsours
Well what I CAN say is that #16 is definitely not a direct ancestor of the turtle. They may have some genetic similarities but it is no way part of the evolutionary tree of turtles. Primitive turtles had flatter shells and bodies.
+Servals HE said they were more "like" turtles..... for fucks sake
under 4257 club!!!
where the hell was The Megalodon
Ur mum
Ya Ik!!!!!!
The megalodon should be number 1!!!!!
But what about the iridocyclitis dinosaur?
wish terror birds were still around would have made for great pets
At 12 the first thing i thought about was chocobo. Not to hard to see that i guess, if they can be tamed at least.
so chocobos used to be real animals on earth?
number 16 was more like an armadillo I think
nobody asked for your input besides im only saying it looks like a prehistoric armadillo im not saying it isn't related to tortoises
where is the Dodorex? WHERE IS MAH DAMN DODO REX!?!?!?
Number # 15,
There is no Estemmenosuchus, only Zool!
Number 25: Shouldn't it be "sea to land" and not "land to see"?....
+The Bananas Has Gone Bad The ancestors of cetaceans went from land to sea.
+The Bananas Has Gone Bad It's an ancestor of modern day whales
Naw he was like fuck this shit I'm going back into the ocean
Constricting snakes do NOT crush their prey to death. They constrict the prey to where it can't expand it's chest, therefore suffocating to death. That's why it's called a "constrictor." It constricts its prey.
You know what he meant. But that's some nice knowledge.
Just clarifying.
I'm noticing a trend. Everything used to be huge. Extinction events happened, everything shrank because of less available food. Thank the universe that we got hit by a few asteroids
Glyptodon was a relative of the armadillo not turtle
The spinosaurus is in-accurately Depicted.
Basically most of the prehistoric animals were gigantic versions of some of the animals we know nowadays?----Amusing.
15: looks more like a Moschops
The picture for Quezocoatlus was Hatzegopteryx. Similar enough I guess though.
They're VERY similar. Same basic species tbh. Same size shape ect. Different diet though.
then how can you tell the two apart?
I read a book with that pic for the Hatze
im pretty sure the hockey stick one was proven to be fossilized in front of a plant :v
theres NO way they could claim that this dinosaur had the strongest bite of any animal ever.... there are none alive to research ... 4:55
The last one was the thing in Jurassic park 3
Really. The "thing"
Spinosaurus walked on all fours.
What ever you do, don't tell Ken Ham.
spinosaurus owned that t-rex
Or 25 strangest prehistoric sharks
wonder how big humans would be at that time
82 kilometers tall 37 kilometers wide I know my facts
i thaugtth megalodon has the strongest bite
THE T-Rex also Had feathers
Dogsteeves all dinosaurs did, well the majority of them
A snake ruled the world? Dafaq
A mammal who can barely fight a wolf without assistance rules the world? Dafuq
+FirePhoenix intelligence and cooperation is a tool and a weapon, why do you think we "rule" the world?
+MLG Obama Yes Satahkal ruled the world in past.
+MLG Obama Titanaboa at that time was a monster even now it would still rule the area it was in south america also now it would be one of the largest land creatures today X3
STRANGE or NOT... I THINK NOT!!!!
why were so many of the prehistoric creates so large
Many reasons one is to be a better competition to bigger creatures and the more oxygen due to the amount of trees and plants
+watermelons Ok, if that is the case then we should still have lots of very large creatures roaming the earth today. Or perhaps on the evolutionary time scale we haven't had enough time to grow that large again. What are some of the other reasons that you suggest.
+Cris isBliss The atmosphere is less bouyant than before. If these creatures existed today, they would be crushed under their own weight.
Please remember we don't have skeleton records of most of these so don't think these actually existed. they look awesome I admit but still.
i wouldn't say that the spinosaurus is that weird as everyone knows about it and has been used to it being the largest land carnivore but hardly anyone has heard of the other guys
Wow your smart 😄
Xspeed999X you ☺
Charviptorix had 37 meters? It's bad enough you use humpty-dumpty units instead of metric
Parasaurolophus?
Oh shit!
At 10:39 though
Daaaaaaaammmmnn!!
when you say eurypterid was a scorpion like creature that's like saying duck is a weird looking bird
no....Glyptodons are armadillos... it doesn’t even look like a turtle
Not to mention that there was a spider that could have eaten cats when insects were fuckin huge
10 year old: wheres T rex? T rex is the biggest carnivore dinosaur! He was bigger than anything on this list!!!
0:48 Nope that is how it actually looked while flying through the skies. Nope thats not a fossil. Nope.
Think Wayne Gretzky found a pet. lol.
Lol who is he?
A Google search
VerryLongName no thanks
How do you spell the creature's name at #15?
Estemmenosuchus. late but here. Also you can tipp the title on google and it gives the page with all animals listed. ^^
Saying eurypterid is like saying scorpion, not a species.
