I still find that Jenny is so much better than Kerry
I always thought Liz had the purest voice, and was always my favourite. Natasha's voice I liked for her warmth, but Liz took the lead for me.
Tash is such a great singer, not just for AK imo. She has a strong yet husky voice which I extremely love. She also has great control, range, and vibrato. She literally singlehandedly carry the group vocally. Liz has really nice tone and it can go well enough with Tash, Jenny has amazing presence despite the lack of vocal ability. And Kerry is Kerry.

So I read an interview with the founder of the group and he said Kerry was hired for her persona and without auto tune she would never have made the group ❤️
Agree with the ranking with Tash definitely THE Kitten and Liz thereafter, with one remark: Jenny's timbre in Someone Like Me is out of this world and her voice seems to be like a flute. Incredible

I remember reading an interview with Kerry years ago and she said herself that she can’t sing or was a weak singer , can’t recall the exact wording
jenny actually has many great performances throughout her years in AK her husky tonne is beautiful and rounded out the harmony perfectly!
I love Tash, Lil and Jen equally. Together they created magic. I hope they perform together again one day. 💕💎

I totally agree with you! Tash is the strongest vocal of the group. Also Liz has improved her voice so much since the 1st album. I remember Liz’s voice is very stunning in the 3rd album. The 1st verse of If You Come to Me is very high pitch and perfect!
OMG! I love them so much! They were like my English teachers when I was in grade 5! I practiced English from their songs! Time flies by... still miss them!

Natasha has the vocal power, but the other two (or three) give sweetness because her voice is a bit bluesy. Liz's voice is light and sweet (she sounds like Kylie Minogue). Perhaps, Tash did not want a vocal competitor. This could be the way how Jenny appeared in the band. They are the best when all three (with Jenny) participate in a song. Liz and Jenny lighten Natasha's robust voice.
I wished you would have used a second live performance of Jenny. There is a live performance of AK's single "Love doesn't have to hurt" where Jenny did a good job.

Kerry was the original member then Liz then Heidi. Then Heidi was replaced with Natasha.
Kerry got in the band purely on personality and winged it. Just like Geri did in the Spice Girls, both of them are great characters.

I agree totally. I knew exactly who would be number one before you said it. I've seen Natasha in Cinderella pantomime. She was amazing. She sang "whole again " and "the tide is high " in it. And another ballad. She was brilliant. And had such great presence.
Liz and Tash are incredibly!!! Jenny also had a very unique soothing tone.
Andy McCluskey (founder of AK) said Kerry got in the band because of her looks. McCluskey knew she isn't a singer but wanted her to create a girl band.

The single is titled “Crash Landing” which is pretty much how it did on the charts, unfortunately. I remember going to HMV to purchase the single. Interesting fact, if you UA-cam search Jenny Frost Bad Girl you’ll hear a recording she did of a song that was originally intended for Lisa Scott-Lee’s ill-fated Unleashed album 💖💖💖

Exactly. Woman in love is not Barbra Streissands song. She have sing it and it is best on her voice. But song is written by Barry and Robin Gibb. Original song is by Barry Gibb. And he personally is given this song to Liz. So I think he thought it would fit to Liz.

Natasha and her raspy warm voice great for all of the high energy songs.
Liz has a sweet soft voice good for all of those ballads (specially the acoustic stuff), and then;
Jenny has a sensual, sultry, sophisticated tone good for those seduceing background parts, ad-lips, and better suited for harmonies. she carried the song ‘ladies night’ very well as a lead because it’s such a sultry song. Suits her voice well
Kerry added more of the Disney vibe to the girls, but when she left, and Jenny joining the group-they transformed from a Disney pop to a more mature sensual pop group (which they wouldn’t be able to pull off with Kerry- she adds immaturity to the group along the lines of Disney, Kerrie is the worst out of all 4-she can’t hold a tune to save her life)

Kez wasn’t pushed out of the band she got pregnant on Mollie & decided to leave so Jenny came in. When Whole Again went to no 1 there was actually 4 in the band the first week it hit no 1. Please listen to eternal flame from the greatest hits tour & tell me what you think of Jenny’s vocals after that 😎👏🏼

I think Natasha voice is too loud , too shouty nowadays and struggling to hit the highs. Number 2 is my number 1. Plus Woman in love is not supposed to be done like the way Barbara did it on the Kittens. I like your singing critque videos

#1 Natasha aka Tash 😍💙. Her voice is astonishing and she's an amazing singer. She's got the Soul, power and smoothness too. Plus, she has a Broadway-esque tone to her voice that makes it unique. Her rendition of "Let There Be Love" is one of my favourite performances ever.
#2 Liz. She's a nice addition to the group, she has a light tone.
#3 Jenny and Kerry are both unclassified. They're not singers and their voices are quite terrible. To use a metaphor, Jenny and Kerry are respectively the "posh" and "ginger" of the group.
This was the easiest ranking since the ones of the Spice Girls and Pussycat Dolls 😂.

Jenny has a nice voice! I like listening to her and I bought Crash Landing when it was released back in 2005! I remember it being played a lot when I was on holiday in Crete back at that time.
I also love Liz's voice and love her version of Woman In Love. Does it really matter that she was engaging with fans at a concert? Seemed a bit bitchy for no reason really.
It was odd given the song. Adele isn’t going to do a big side to side wave while singing set fire to the rain is she?
This is what I think about their voices:
Kerry has more character in her voice, but singing wise it was very lacking. Just like back when Geri was in the Spice Girls during their Hey Days.
Jenny's voice is plain but has sultry tone in it. It's like the mature version of Jewel.
Liz's vocals has some innocence in it but very cookie cutter and safe. Just like Emma Bunton's voice.
Natasha is definitely the voice of the group. Her vocal tone can be compared to Trisha Yearwood or Taylor Dayne.

Heidi was in the group’s pre-debut. So she was apart of recording a lot of the demos and planning etc...but she left before they actually released any material. So she’s not featured in any of their songs.
Tash has a greater vocal range.

You don’t need to be a vocalist to know this!! Atomic kitten ..l as much as I love them .. I feel like girl groups from the late 90s were formed based on looks and making money. Atomic kitten made hits based on covers too. Again, no hate, I LOVE AK, but definitely would not have gotten anywhere without Natasha

None of them were spectacular let’s be honest! But I agree, Natasha is the only right answer for first place 💖 I have a special place in my heart for the band (Jenny’s formation) their album Feels so Good is one of my favorite pop albums from the 00’s

Natasha was the best singer, but she almost wasn't in the band, she replaced Heidi from the Sugababes!
Disappointed that Natasha was 1st. Being from Liverpool I’ve had the misfortune of interacting with her in after parties and the both times she’s been nasty. She asked my friend who had bad acne as a child, so has scarred skin whether he was from Spotland. Isn’t that a horrible thing to say to someone who has confidence issues over their skin. I guess she believed cause she was famous that she could behave the way she wanted without consequence.
With the right practice Kerry would be the better Singer out of her and Jenny Frost. I think she has more potential.

Indeed, Kerry was the weakest. Good she was kicked out, Jenny was a great replacement! A bonus too: she is way more beautiful, stylish and elegant!
8:28 Natasha Is a good singer there’s no doubt about it but in that performance she sounds very throaty, nasal & sounds masked like she has cotton wool in the sides on her mouth It’s a bit forced & doesn’t flow naturally 🤷🏼♂️
Jenny frost’s single was released the same week as Lisa Scott-Lee’s reality tv show single electric- Lisa got to no.13 while Jenny I believe got to no.47 . Was actually a good song but had little promo

Tash was their ace in the pack, without her I don't think they would have made it. Liz was always quite good as well.
Kerry wasn't a singer, she got chosen because of her looks and personality, she could carry a tune, and in a lot of their early performances with her like I want Your love on TOTP she was up to par with the other 2. Jenny however is more of a talky singer, not really a singer either, very dull and lifeless voice, no range, never should of sung any leads, should of just been Tash and Liz, they were the talent.

The original Sugababes, I’d say, are comparable, and their harmonies are always perfect! Obviously Sugababes music is very different. Nicola & Nadine from Girls Aloud are great singers, too.
