What's occurring is failure to return to battery. Sometimes so slight, that you can barely tell the slide is not in full battery. I field-stripped mine. I noticed the polymer was slightly too high at the rear of the frame, near/above the beavertail area. I used a fine nail file and lightly sanded down the polymer just a small amount. I then felt the entire frame looking for raised areas, and rough areas on the black polymer. When I found them, I very lightly sanded them as well. Cleaned, lubed and re-assembled. 1,000 rounds later, not a single failure with 18 or 21-round factory mags.

Pretty certain it's just user error. Your grip is not good. Weak hand brace isn't good. You short racked the slide to re-engage. That's why it didn't cycle completely. And if you're hanging up rounds it's because of homemade ammo or cheap ammo or something you're doing.
Have put THOUSANDS of rounds downrange thru this gun. Not a glitch to be seen. Shoots great and flat. (If you have the correct grip).
It's a polymer gun. Light. Try the rival. It'll probably be better suited for you. Much heavier. An average shooter sometimes has problem with these types of platform or race guns that they've never shot before.
Also suggest you get a gas peddle. It'll keep you from having a weak grip on the gun and keep it more stable. Easy to shoot that Suze targets at 50 yards even. So yeah, it must be just you brother. Dunno.

This went on, boom , tap and rack boom tap and rack. What I did to correct the problem was I had to grip harder. It's almost like the gun had some grip pressure sensor embedded in the handle. If you're light on the grip it fires but fails to fire the follow up round. I was shooting 124 grain with the stock recoil spring. After making adjustments to my grip the TTi was flawless. I personally prefer the chrome steel frame or the Darkside, but the gun shoots pretty well and its easy to shoot fast.. If u are having problems shooting it fast or hitting close targets, maybe just shoot it a little more, practice will help u appreciate it more.. The biggest issue ive had has been how it doesn't always stay open on the last round, but i think maybe its because i ride the slide sometimes..
Is it overrated? Absolutely.. u are paying $300-400 more dollars for a fake compensator and Taran Butler's name.. But u will be hard pressed to find many polymer striker fire pistols that shoot that flat and that fast at that price point.. One of the things literally everyone compliments this gun on is its trigger, kinda surprised u didn't have more positive things to say about it..
But the overall consensus i have seen on this gun has actually been "its kind of a let down"... i think people just expected more.. And i feel that way as well.. This IS the upgraded variant. They moved from the mete, up to rival, etc. Now they have the tti combat.... Granted theyll come out with another one im sure with more upgrades but thats what good companies do. To say this pistol "iS a $300-400 GuN..." Is laughable at the least. They sell aftermarket TRIGGERS alone for glocks that arent as good as this guns factory trigger alone that cost upwards of $200+! You're a silly guy. Good luck with your channel bud 😂

I love Fan Boys - they will defend a company regardless of the situation. You can purchase a ton of quality guns for under $1000. This is a gun people buy because they think it looks cool. @@averagemarksman I’m sorry, have to weigh in. Its not trash. I’m not a fan boy, actually more biased to all steel double/single actions. I have it and yes, like the looks of it! I think it handles well and it's a fun pistol. One thing, it had a lot of packing grease in it. I’m suspicious that a lot of negative reviews maybe folks not giving it a proper cleaning before shooting. I have the Rival S as well and the TTI behaves the same way. I had a few failures to feed/not in battery with 115 grain target ammo of about the first 300 rounds (no issues with 124 grain and 115/124 grain defensive rounds. 2nd range day, another 300 rounds and no issues. Some of us like fun guns. Also, I paid $899 (and noted that price at other merchants in my area) and comparing that to other pistols it competes with, I think the pricing is fine with all that you get with it. I would agree paying $1K or over is not worth it. Your getting into a whole other segment of quality and performance there. (Legion Sigs, LTT Berettas, Competition CZ’s ect… and nope, this pistol is not that league.)

Don't like it, don't keep it. But be sure to know what's what when making comments and recommendations... Many TTI's don't function with the recoil springs include (many, some, a few; you pick). My TTI was one of them, contacted Century Arms, the 2 Day FedEx'ed a Heavy Recoil spring, a little lube and manually cycling later and the TTI is rock solid. SHOULD it have come with all three springs; YES, it should. But it was a one week delay to get the issue addressed and my TTI is solid now with probably 600 rounds of a variety of ammo through it (it is a bit ammo picky, but then that's hardly unique to the TTI!).

Great take! I have always thought the same thing about Canik and some of their "higher end" pistols. To me, a Canik is a $400 gun. The SF was $299 when it first hit the market.....same trigger as they have today. They got popular and all of a sudden prices get jacked up. Guns are cheap right now and I'm taking advantage of those prices but I'm not going to overspend on guns like this one. It looks cool but that's all I can say about it. I'd rather spend $700 on a souped up Smith and Wesson or Beretta. The new Beretta PX4 Storm with Langdon Tactical parts is a much better gun for $300 less.

However, if given the choice between guns that they produce and guns in the same category and pricing I’d go another direction. Example I wouldn’t purchase a Mete over a Shield Plus. I would consider purchasing a METE SFT if I was right handed and it was my first gun. Having a holster in the box is a nice touch and can let a new shooter train without needed to order a ton of different items.

It flew of the the shelves due to the "Taran Tactical" logo and then the price just jumped.
