    I worked for my neighbor helping him build his new house and other projects.
    He had one of the SVL 75-2. A most amazing machine.
    Took me a while to get used to the Cat controls. I was used to Case controllers.
    Kubota has improved on a very nice machine.
    Well done Kubota

    Nice Machine... i am getting one this year as well. Nice review
    I have narrowed the choices down to the SVL 75-3 and the John Deer 325G..

      Thank you! I haven’t spent too much time with the John Deere skidsteers only a handful of times. But we have a variety between Takeuchi, Gehl, Case, Terex and Kubota. I personally prefer the Kubota skidsteers. Many of the cons they used to have such as poor venting, noisy cab etc seem to have been improved in this newer model. Very excited to get it to work in the summer regularly to see performance now 😁

    • @Charlie-go6eb
      @Charlie-go6eb 9 місяців тому +1

      @@dirty.diggers Couple reasons. First I had a 20 loaded 75-2 that was like new, and sold it for what I paid for it new. So the carry over money let me upgrade to the 97-2 for mid 60’s after. I also wanted the extra capacity for site prep. I have a Kx040 as well and knew I would be adding a wheeled 65 for the smaller stuff. Kubota makes excellent machines at a great price point. There financing is a no-brainer as well.

    I think what you called the auto reversing fan toggle switch is really the dpf regen button

    • @dirty.diggers
      @dirty.diggers  9 місяців тому

      I know on my 75-2 that’s where that dpf button was, but I think on these new ones now it’s where the auto reverse fan is. Since the radiator is not horizontal I guess it’s more prone to dust landing on it which is why the fan is important to keep blowing it clear. You can set it on screen for interval times to come on or just hit that button to turn it on I believe. Next time I’m in the machine I’ll double check that though 👍🏻👍🏻

  • @chriswhite6077
    @chriswhite6077 6 місяців тому +2

    I sold mine after 100 hours. The machines are built too short for the tracks lacking power like all of them right now the machine will pop a wheelie on steep grade. Easy to maintenance definitely but to light in the front because of that. If you know you know would not buy another Kubota they've had so many issues.
    Do not like how the cab is set up. A cup holder is behind your right shoulder. If you miss a button on the code by accident, you have to start all over the window. Hit you in the back coming when you're coming out. There's no way to close the window from outside the cab

    • @dirty.diggers
      @dirty.diggers  6 місяців тому

      I agree with you on some of that for sure. The cupholder placement I did end up making a story about. Don’t think I noticed that during this video.
      The door can be a bit annoying to close on the way out for sure, but I wouldn’t trade that minor inconvenience for the overall design of the door going overhead.
      As for the balance, I only got about 50-60 hours on it right now. But I never found that an issue with the other svl 75-2 machines we had.
      Have you used the older model Kubota?

    They want 100k here in Canada for one and I think theyre a nice upgrade over my SSV 75-2. That said theres a 20k delta between it and my 2020 SSV. I plan on trading in my ASV RT120F because its way too big for most projects but 100k for a model in this class is not worth taking a bath on my trade in.

    • @dirty.diggers
      @dirty.diggers  9 місяців тому

      Yes all depends like you said, many jobs the bigger models can’t get access etc. where they fit it’s great but if you don’t fit they’re worthless lol it’s all a balance but I find the mid size skidsteers to be the best sizes for us. That
      being said most of our work is tight residential so we have this size and smaller like terex/ASV pt30
