In part its because they have to have an existing channel to prove they can be profitable, they dont just hire random people with no experience if that makes sense? So unless they delete their old channel eventually someone will draw the comparison.

My favourite is that one vtuber clip where the app doesn't detect the face for a second and you see the face of a middle aged asian man. It never fails to crack me up.
@@Frozanderthat’s probably a set up for shit and giggles, or very old vid, nowadays there is no direct camera streaming, if something breaks, vtuber just freezes or something along that line.
Fun fact, particularly large animals like elephants and whales are extremely resistant to getting cancer partly because their organs are so large that before the cancer can become large enough to be dangerous is falls victim to its own divergent cancer cells. Far more common than that, your body is constantly destroyed b cells (a type of white blood cell that ironically plays an anti-tumor function) because they can potentially spontaneously turn cancerous, while most other cells require several mutations before they become dangerous.

It doesn't really matter who's "behind" the VTuber, because people are there for the _character._ So it's irrelevant.
It's like someone being upset that their waifu in an anime was voiced by a real human actor, instead of the character being "real." That doesn't happen because it makes absolutely no fucking sense whatsoever.
VTubers are actors playing a fictional character, just in the format of a livestream.

The ones working for an agency, sure, but there are a lot of smaller ones (especially so called “pngtubers” who can’t afford a full model) who do it because they want to stream but don’t want their face online. Face cams have become fairly ubiquitous, so it’s useful.

I think there is something wrong with mic or it might just need a pop filter. I'm not sure
as a rule, behind most female vtubers you will find... one female streamer. And various support staff (operating with none is possible, but there's a reason most who are seeing any success have at least One of some sort. char mods, managers, editors, etc etc.). Exceptions exist, but they're rare, because keeping up the act for hours on end, several days a week, Live, in the face of the sort of audiences they get taking an interest at the slightest slip up? It is Difficult.
Mind you, there Are !ale vtubers. For much the same reason, they have male avatars, with exceptions being quite rare.
as for age? Well, the average age of the streamer behind the vtuber model skews higher than presented, that's because the avatars tend to be "late teens to late twenties unless you're intentionally leaning into a different age bracket" while the streamers behind them are mostly in the eighteen to thirty-something range... the lower bound being mostly contractual and the upper bound being due to a combination of the whole thing being pretty new and... well, let's be honest here, the whole vtuber thing traces back to several origins, but "Japanese Idol singer" is a big chunk of that. And making it really big as a vtuber still involves playing into that at least a Bit (or at least, nog doing so makes it far more difficult). Consider how much effort a dancer on stage in a pop concert puts in. Now take into account that the person in question is also singing. This is surprisingly physically demanding. Lots of running and working out at the gym on top of the actual singing and dance practice.
And then they do a whole concert, which can be Hours long, while wearing a mocap suit. Said suits being rather notorious heat traps.
Of course, that's the high end big name stuff, smaller vtubers, physical fitness is less of a big deal. What IS a big deal, at least for 3D avatars, is proportions. If the avatar isn't pretty close to the same dimensions as the streamer. you get clipping and floating issues (depending on which direction it is off in) when they interact with other objects. Now, in Most cases this only starts being an issue in terms of interacting with other people and props... except in the case of Female vtubers, because unfortunately breasts and arms interact... a Lot. (one Hololive vtuber has an avatar with very large breasts, which new viewers pretty much always think are exaggerated, then you see her in a 3D concert and rather than Clipping when her arms and breasts interact (as would be the case if the model had larger proportions than the streamer), her avatars arms end up Floating (that is, there is empty air between her arms and breasts when the pose indicates they should clearly be in contact)... I use this example simply because it's the most common and obvious, similar issues occur with height, shoulder width, girth, extra apendiges, etc.

Hey Paul, there’s a game called Foxhole which is basically a massive multiplayer real-time war of attrition game where players assemble en masse to fight it out over objectives. All resources in the game from bullets to tanks are player-manufactured and player-transported. It’s an absolutely insane game and creators like Moidawg make whole series off the wars. I think you could really break it down using everything you know.

there actually was a vtuber type channel that would play some weird little sister type shit but turned out was just a dude with a voice changer.
Interestingly, I can confirm that getting some sort of worm/parasite and getting it cured does help against at least fishtank allergies. (I was around eight then and the "worms" in question were small and white, btw).
I guess your body needing to deal with these gets rid of the memory cells that activate when the allergy hits or your body's immune system overall acclimatizes to proper challenges and does no longer see soemthing like Pollen as a threat in other ways.
I don't remember where I read/heard of it before but I was made aware of a theory that the reason allergies seem to be so bad now is because of a lack of parasites that tempered our overactive immune systems.
Not exactly a symbiotic relationship but it's an idea that sounds plausible.
Some particular species of helminths are proven to eliminate the symptoms of IBS. Unfortunately, it's debatable whether a gut full of parasitic worms is a true upgrade.
