Yeah Seth's review for Deus Ex was back in 2018 where he was very offensive as opposed to now where he is just offensive. Not something I mind, it adds comedic value and a certain sarcastic charm to it. But yeah, Deus Ex came out in 2000 so it's one of those spooky coincidence type of situations where what happened in Deus Ex is eerily similar to what would become 9/11 and the situation that followed. It's a good game and has some fun philosophical stuff in it as well. Like Kojima level philosophy stuff. If you can deal with the old graphics and other flaws it may have I'd recommend playing it. If you can tolerate Seth's shitposting ways as a reviewer, his content is plenty fun to watch even if it's for entertainment purposes rather than actually wanting to get the game he is reviewing or reacting for these videos. Ross Scott made a great video on the deeper plots of that first Deus Ex, its a great watch. How 9/11 birthed a "counter-terrorism industry" in the USA that's not very effective at all but still seen as vital because of the paradygm shift that that event was.
Deus Ex was the first game that really captured me with its storytelling. I highly recommend it! Don't play the second one though (Deus Ex Invisible War), it's total trash. The following prequels are pretty good too, but not nearly as good as the original.
yeah dude lower tier graphics is the right choice of words. this game was so far ahead of its time that the graphics dont matter. say theres a remake, and all they do is add AAA graphics, NOTHING ELSE, and it would still be an INCREDIBLE game. i wouldnt want a remaster, though.. the bad graphics give it a certain charm

Going to have to disagree with you on the theory that a conspiracy is not needed to get where we are. The people pulling the strings are blatantly obvious if you step back and simply apply Occam's razor. I was on the ground in nyc on 9/11 and saw several things that only have one explanation. Been looking into this stuff ever since Alex went into Bohemian Grove LOOKING for ways to prove myself wrong. I have yet to..... Ross Scott made a great video on the deeper plots of that first Deus Ex, its a great watch. How 9/11 birthed a "counter-terrorism industry" in the USA that's not very effective at all but still seen as vital because of the paradygm shift that that event was.
Deus Ex was the first game that really captured me with its storytelling. I highly recommend it! Don't play the second one though (Deus Ex Invisible War), it's total trash. The following prequels are pretty good too, but not nearly as good as the original.
yeah dude lower tier graphics is the right choice of words. this game was so far ahead of its time that the graphics dont matter. say theres a remake, and all they do is add AAA graphics, NOTHING ELSE, and it would still be an INCREDIBLE game. i wouldnt want a remaster, though.. the bad graphics give it a certain charm

Stealth games still in lude gaurd dialogs like dishonoured has alot of it
Steath games use it because you need to learn their routines to do stealth right and the dialogs somtimes trick newbs into thinking the gaurd wont move
