As a parent you have responsibilities if you cannot meet them give up your children and let the state or family members who can look after them do so, but don't look for people to take pity on you.

"Sins of the father" and all that. But woman, you are capable of rational and clear thought and you still chose this lifestyle. You could have said "enough, I will be better" and moved from there but instead you landed yourself in this situation. No one is perfect, and trying to act like you are by pointing the blame elsewhere does you no favors when it is clear that the fault here mainly rests with you and your actions.

I’m not a believer in kicking a person when they need help. Yes she could be wrong, yes the daughter I’d probably right. It’s also not her place to be the parent. Grandparents are they concerned about their daughter. I. Can see the granddaughter obviously prefers them to her mum.
I don’t know if maybe the grandparents standards for their daughter were so high, they were impossible to meet. Not one positive remark comment or photo. I had a mother in law who was unbelievably nasty. Unless you could see past the veneer to the vindictive person underneath. She ruined my marriage to her son in lots of ways. In fact her own daughters and brothers.
But other times she was lovely and thoughtful.
What do they expect their daughter to do? No positive feedback no affection or love. Just being pulled limb by limb and now by her daughter as well.
I’m sure the daughter and her sister don’t get what they need from a mum. Maybe mum didn’t get it from her mother and father. She needs support to get off what she’s on and then step by step back to having a future. I’m am confused how the grandparents are criticising their daughter no care shown at all. I’m pleased that Dr Phill will help. I could see this lady spiralling down to attempt suicide.
Basically, she has put them in the position of having to choose between her and their granddaughter. I do not blame them for choosing the sweet, intelligent grandchild over that immoral, irresponsible twat bag.
