There a good reason, why polygraph tests are not admissible in a court of law, so it is simply against her best interests, to take the test, and doing so would do absolutely nothing for the mother, her son is gone and she wants to assign blame, which is understandable.

No, listening is key. She wants to know if she truly did not push/nudge/touch him or it was just pure argument and he tripped. For her own peace, she wants to know the difference.
As for not being cool ever, I get that. She VERBALLY STATES that if it comes to light that the gf didn’t put any hands on her then fine, she’ll let that part go. But they can’t be cool because it takes two people to argue. If the gf had just let in him go, taken the argument inside (because why would you wanna be yelling at your partner in public looking crazy) all of this could’ve been avoided.
Maybe a different outcome would or would’ve have happened. This mother is grieving and can’t accept that accidents happen so she’s trying to grasp at every minute detail.
This gf needs to move states and move on because until that mother gets something, no one will be at peace in her presence.

Then, a jury & judge must be convinced of her guilt. If we start expecting suspects to prove their innocence, then anyone could accuse anyone else of anything with no evidence.

I read a report that stated a person can honestly reply no but they can feel guilty (i.e. if i didnt meet up with the person this incident would not have happened, i feel i am the reason this happened i think when i did this this what caused that incident). Any thoughts of trying to hold yourself accountable can be detected by polygraph making results false negative or inconclusive.

I don’t know why the audience is clapping for the Mom’s emotional manipulation. If they were in the girl’s shoes, they’d do the same thing as the girlfriend. The Mom is grieving, which I can understand, and I’m very sorry for her loss and her anguish. But it seems like she’s looking to just blame someone and not hold her dead son accountable for his behavior, which seems to be bordering on, or outright, harassment of the girlfriend. I think she needs grief counseling and therapy.

The mom saying that she wouldn’t like her and they would never be cool no matter what so why take the test if the mom still isn’t gonna like her and still gonna blame her?

She really doesn’t owe the family anything if she wasn’t proven guilty. As sad as it is she really doesn’t

Pan Lubosiej Never judge someone who’s lost their child. Everyone grieves in their own way, you have no right to judge! I’m speaking from personal experience.

irrelevant, grief effects people differently. i've seen abuse cases where the victims lost in court not on a lack of evidence but rather for "not looking sad enough"

I don’t agree with that mother. I understand what she’s going through but she’s pointing fingers without real evidence

I would not take it either! With anxiety issues it could lead to a false positive. And as far as mama??? Running her mouth like that would make me DETERMINED not to take one!
