Welcome to our van conversion series. We're Malin from Sweden and Alex from the UK. In August 2020 moved to Spain after 5 months locked down in Spain. We moved into Alex's parents holiday home in the mountains and spent a couple of week trying to find a van to convert into a home on wheels.
In this vlog we're taking the van for a little drive around Costa Blanca where we live and we start preparing for the build.

Google says "The Spanish National Road Administration (DGT) points out that it is not allowed to buy a van and convert it into a motorhome" Could you please give some advice on how you did it? Thank you, awesome content

Hey, it is possible. There are plenty of blogs available on how to go about it. For the paperwork side of things we used a company called Tutuning to sort everything out as it is quite complicated and they are always ready to give you advice if needed. tutuning.net/
