When shooting portrait or automotive m, I always try to stay away from wide angles as I know it can distort the person or object, but after seeing you shoot at 28 and getting so close up has made me change my mind. I guess my question is, what’s the limit to shooting wide angle before it starts distorting and looking unnatural. I currently have a 50mm prime lense and a 28-70mm for Sony a7 ii. Thanks in advance
First of all i love the Modern and Pastel Presets! Second, is there a reason why iso400 because the backlit? to push the dark parts? Third - don’t you have ticks there in the high grass ;) ? Great Video when it also let you laugh a bit. 👍🏻👍🏻
Do you want a lot of dof or not, it's not very clear. I know how to get more in focus : standing further away from the model, using wide angle and a higher f-number.

an ND filter is an option
You can't 😂, if it's too bright underexpose the subject you'll have to pull the shadows up a bit later
off camera flash is another option!
Adjust your metering mode, perfect the models lighting, and then adjust the back in post edit
