@yelmolahat8 It is great to see him showing people it's good to try stuff they wouldn't normally do. My mom wouldn't try Korean food and when she finally tried a food different dishes. Asks me to bring her to H-Mart for their 6 beef, pork, chicken and other stuff.
Hey Mike. Fabulous meal! The soups were different. That clam looking soup. 😲 Very unique meals today. Japan is treating you well. Enjoy!! All blessings.. 🐞🤗
I remember pulling an all-nighter after being out clubbing so that we could catch the first metro to Tsukiji Market, everything we ate was absolutely mind-blowing 🤤 I remember this crazy scallop with king crab meat and uni, seared with a torch and served still in the shell MY LORD that uni was otherworldly I’m tearing up thinking about it. Sashimi bowl was bomb too.
Hey mike next time that you do a Costco haul I highly highly reccommend trying the SiloStreetFood Thai Red Curry. It's usually in the aisle where they stock rice bags.
All that looked amazing. I remember when you weren't fond of sushi and I remember an episode with someone who changed your mind. I think about that when I see you doing sushi meals.
Find it amusing that these days, Mike only states prices of meals/ snacks when they are ‘normal’ people affordable !! Would love to know how much this luxury feast cost!??
The proper etiquette technique is to put the wasabi in the soy sauce and mix. Then you dip the whole sushi in that sauce given to you by the chef. Also if you really really want to impress that you know the culture. you should put a piece of ginger on top of each piece when you eat it.❤
Isn't the point of Omakase to leave it to the chef? Otherwise wouldn't just getting regular nigiri a better choice then you can dunk it in soy sauce as much as you want?
At first, I didn't know what you were saying, but you say there was "narazuke" in that shaved ice bowl? Wow! I wouldn't have guessed. Narazuke isn't my favorite because it tastes so alchoholic, but pairing the salty pickle with sweet syrup is so interesting. Would like to try it once.
That's a completely different species. Yellowtail is Japanese amberjack and yellowtail kingfish is yellowtail amberjack. Same genus, but different species, and has a totally different taste.
I was thinking the same exact thing! Plus, eating with your elbows resting on the counter, really? In a restaurant as such, proper eat manners is imperative. I think there are UA-cam tutorials on this subject.
That looked amazing. I'll admit I'm not fond of shirako. I don't mind the flavor, but don't like the texture. Obviously I'd eat it if served in a meal like this.
John just did a video talking about the insanevtourist prices getting charged at those restaurants around the market.😅 stuff looks tasty but i don't think i could afford to eat there.
That looks AMAZING but $200 for dinner is a stiff price, no doubt. Once in a lifetime thing in my mind, at least till that mega millions comes in. Or I hit 4 million subs to watch me eat and review! ROFL! Keep living the high life Mikey!
Outer Tsukiji market also have very touristy prices …¥4K for a stick of Wagyu and it was not kobe beef fantastic .... ¥5k++ for a piece of grilled crab leg
dude.. if he shouldn't be dipping the sauce wouldn't have been offered. time and time again sushi chefs have said you should eat sushi as you like. they'll tell you which dishes should be eaten as is.
I remember when Mike wouldn't touch Sushi!! Crazy 6 or 7 years watching him grow more and more as a foodie.
Broccoli too !!
That's what Traveling and experiences have brought him. It's amazing
Many people have that with sushi.
It's a taste that people get used to later.
Foodies be Foodie-ing!!!!!! Lol

What an amazing, artistic, beautiful show of sushi! I thoroughly enjoyed every second!
Anything sushi omakase is my ultimate video weakness!! ❤❤❤
6:00 that's what I love about Tokyo, it's insanely affordable for a developed city, in US that Chawanmushi alone would cost over $5.
That Omakase place... truly an unique experience. Everything looked great. Thanks for the video.
He loves seafood and innards get it but how about real food most ppl eat.
Yeah And it’s nice to know him learnt not to mix the soy sauces with wasabi, finally.
The price per person is $27,500 JPY which is around $182 USD
Hey Mike. Fabulous meal! The soups were different. That clam looking soup. 😲 Very unique meals today. Japan is treating you well. Enjoy!! All blessings.. 🐞🤗
I've never wanted to go to a restaurant more than this place. Looks "amazing"!
Mikey goes to the largest fish market on the planet, gets a beef bowl, haha, love it!
Everything Looks Amazingly Delicious. ❤❤❤❤
Best sushi meal ever
Mikey you have been my food hero for the last 5 years im your fan for life
That looked like a truly sublime sashimi experience, and if I could afford it, I'd likely try it next time I go to Japan!
Mikey ate what looks like broccoli without complaining ...
I remember a time when Mike didn't like raw fish! Glad you have grown to love it!

not a bad idea but id rather wake up early and sober to enjoy it!
wow that looked insane. worthy of a trip to japan itself aka 3 mich stars
Awesome job Mikey

Good to see him eat some broccoli
Haha true
HE ATE THE BROCCOLI 😮😮
I thought sushi was raw fish . So how is raw fish become wizardry
Why dip the nigiri in shoyu when the chef already sauced it?
You gonna do a 24h 7/11 run? Those are my favorite
Time to go back to Japan, people ask me why I always go back. Every time it’s a different experience
All this food sure looked delicious.😃
All that looked amazing. I remember when you weren't fond of sushi and I remember an episode with someone who changed your mind. I think about that when I see you doing sushi meals.
The clam poridge was my favorite it was mesmerizing to watch.
You are living my dream. I’m living bicurious through your channel.
Clams yumm
It’s hard to find good sushi. Those look so good!
Love your videos. You know sooo much more about food than that other guy. All he does is say oh wow. Your descriptors are fantastic.
Amazing
LOVE your content 😊😊😊
Beautiful food, all around. ❤
Find it amusing that these days, Mike only states prices of meals/ snacks when they are ‘normal’ people affordable !!
Would love to know how much this luxury feast cost!??
It’s an omakase ofc it would be expensive
probably 200 dollars minimum
Website says JPY 27,500 (USD 181)

Agreed! It’s up to him, that’s fine. But the whole point is to let the chef decide what to serve.
to this point. the sauce and sauce plate are there in the first place, i doubt the chef had a problem with it
Watched another channel on Japanese steamed eggs and I absolutely need to try it.

To bad you can’t move to Japan I love this cind of movie
Chef already seasoned each piece of fish and still gets dunked in soy sauce. He must be dying inside
Your supposed to put soy sauce on sushi.
@@NoahSCFN You clearly don’t understand.
Coffee pudding looked like tofu
Chefs put sauce or salt before giving you. So you don't need put extra say sauce by yourself.
Hello everyone
Heaven
Missed you🎉❤
Wish I could travel for food. Man I wanna go back to Japan so bad.
am so jealous !!!! ))))
So what I got from this is everything is light, soft and slightly sweet 😅
I Loved the Omakase! did I blink and miss the price??
mans butchered the sushi by dipping it in more soy sauce after the chef already seasoned it 😭
That’s Nikiri, there is nothing wrong with dipping in a little soy sauce to cut the sweetness of the Nikiri.
@@kobartlett the more you know :O
yummy recipe
First comment!
I would privileged to buy from that fish market.
Did You Know... Tuna Ice Cream Is An Actual Thing:)
Mike, I need to plan a food tour to Japan. Would you be my guide?
At 13:30 you have poached Yellowtail, is that also known as Yellowtail Kingfish? All the best from NZ and loved the vid!
That's a completely different species. Yellowtail is Japanese amberjack and yellowtail kingfish is yellowtail amberjack. Same genus, but different species, and has a totally different taste.
@@vivida7160 Thank you. Will still give poached Kingfish a go next time I get one. Quick dip in the dashi and see how it tastes.
❤🍣
slight correction, the first pieces cut are from the tail and are used to assess the fish for the buyers pre-auction. also rip tsukji
Foodies be Foodie-ing!!!!!! Lol
Some of The Seafood me had tried and more I haven’t tried 😋🍽
But, I’m willing to give that a Go!
Why are you dipping the nigiri back into soy sauce in omakase?
I was thinking the same exact thing! Plus, eating with your elbows resting on the counter, really? In a restaurant as such, proper eat manners is imperative. I think there are UA-cam tutorials on this subject.
FIIIIRST ! hi!
Can you take me to Japan and give me a good tour please ❤
I leave for tokyo on March 29th!
"I think the chef went to Hogwarts" may be my favorite review line ever

NO DIPPING PLEASE!

@@aberdeeen the sauce was offered for the sashimi. The nigiri was already sauce with nikiri when it was served..
❤❤❤❤
you didn't like sushi before and now you're all over it
Hey mike you ever make it to Nurhachi Mongolian grill in Kirksville,mo... i was going there during the early 2000s fun place
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
😊😊😊😊😊
This is a very rare fish. 🤣👍
What was the price of the omakase meal!?
The chef seeing him dip the pieces in extra soy sauce 😵
🤤
Has anyone else been watching since he didn't like sushi? lol
hi mikey, that omasake looked amazing! How much would a meal like that cost :)
Around $200usd
Mikey where is this kakigori place?
Wonderful video! I wish i could try this one day. 🤤
Are the "Fried Rice Fish" 8:33 Seahorses?
Sadly I usually only have a one-course fancy meal or just water 4 breakfast lunch n dinner?! 🦴or a piece of bone?!
How much was the omakase?
WAIT A MINUTE!!!! I THOUGHT MIKE HATES BROCCOLI
What is he doing a food tour or something? I wonder cause it's a whole group of them.
what resturant is this
Safe to eat....?
How much was this meal
It is ¥27,500.
Let me guess umami
Mike eats the broccoli?!
I thought proper etiquette was eating nigiri with your hands.... And also dipping fish side down in the soy sauce? Am I misinformed?
Your right
Just took a peek at the omakase place's price - it's 27500 yen or ~$182 USD per person.
Wish i enjoyed fish this much especially raw. I like eel the most, probably the least fishy smelling and taste ive had
Did I just see you eating broccoli?
You said Sherago then fugu can u explain what those are to an American ❤❤❤❤❤❤????😅😊😊😊 please
Fugu Shirako is basically puffer fish testicles haha. Fugu is the poisonous puffer fish.
