My mom also put the boiled eggs in her recipe. Man I miss her… and her dressing! Another thing she did with her dressing was she would boil a chicken, which gave her stock to use for mixing the dressing, & debone the chicken & throw that in there.
The creole is new to me.. Never tried it. Might have to one day. I do sage and poultry, etc and I've started adding cream of chicken in addition to the broth 😋
I've made dressing with Jiffy Cornbread and it tastes good. On addition, I've eaten it and cooked it various other ways. But, I've never added boiled eggs to mine. My Grandmother cooked hers with giblets as a homemade Cornbread dressing.
I am Team gravy AND Team cranberry sauce (jellied not whole). If I had to choose one or the other, I’ll go cranberry. Never seen the hard boiled eggs in dressing, but I like them so it wouldn’t be an issue!
Adding boiled eggs and not shrimp is diabolical, but to each his own. The video was helpful though. I'll use your recipe but adding my own New Orleans style to it. Thanks.

Because boiled eggs taste good all by itself I don't see how it can mess up any dish you put it in although I think you put in a lot of egg
