Yes, this route doesn't cross a glacier. You can do it without a guide, but if you are unsure you can always take one. Just don't do like my friends and go up in fog. It's starts at the DNT cabin Spiterstulen. We show it at the beginning of the video. Check the transcript how to write it.
We say that in video in the first third: The trail is 5.5 km long and climbs over 1500 m. Allow 5 hours for the ascent and 3 hours for the descent. As usual, you will have to plan 10 to 11 hours for breaks.
