I think Toyota has come up with a winner in the Yaris Cross. Tech wise, very well equipped and all variants are competitively priced. Great demo! Thanks, Joo!

Hi Joo. @6:52, can you confirm if ACC with low speed follow will not engage in speeds below 30kph? Or just like in HRV that low speed follow can be useful in crawling EDSA traffic? Thanks!
It will not disengage when you are still moving with a car infront of you slowing down. When you are below 0 from standstill, you need to go up 30km/h to engage again. I will need to have more time with the car but it was not the slow follow like Mu-X or Subaru eyesight.
2024 Toyota Yaris Cross V technical specification compared with GAC GS Emzoom is closer, the difference is Michelin tires PS4, (forget the moonroof), horsepower and price.
I do have a yaris cross, did you enable something to see the real time gas consumption - from my end I can only see the bar, an indicator is showing but not actual it only changes once I finished my travel. Any thoughts?
With pure highway driving, hybrid cars will NOT be more efficient than ICE cars. But the hybrid would be MUCH more efficient in stop-and-go city driving because it benefits from regenerative braking (where kinetic energy is not wasted because it is used to turn the electric motor to as generator to charge the battery). Both ICE and hybrid could get around 20 kms/li in highway. But in traffic situations, hybrid efficiency will only drop to about 18 kms/li while ICE efficiency will drastically fall to below 10 kms/li because of all the kinetic energy wasted whenever the ICE car brakes.

Never been impressed by hybrid gas milage. It effectively only doubles your range. Add the expensive cost of hybrid maintenance, possible costly battery replacement and rising electicity bills. I'd rather have a full EV or ICE vehicle.
IDK who told you hybrids have expensive maintenance. They cost entirely the same as an ICE. My dad owns a 2013 Prius and one of my friends also owns a 2015 Prius. Their maintenance is almost exactly the same as my Vios. In fact, my BRV costs DOUBLE the Vios or the Prius. So, that's BS on the maintenance part. Battery replacement? My dad's Prius had its FIRST battery change this year, after 10 years. And it wasn't even needed yet, we just decided it's been 10 years so might be a good idea to change it. It cost 85000 PHP. Sounds expensive? Well let's do some math shall we. My average fuel consumption per month on my 1.5 Vios is costing me 9000 PHP. In one year, that translates to: 108000 PHP. The hybrid usually does 40% more range than my 1.5 NA does. So, that means, 43200 PHP could have been saved if I was using a hybrid. In two years, I've "bought" my battery pack. Also, you put the issue of rising electric cost on a hybrid and yet you'd be okay with having a full EV...sorry, what?
