The fact that returning up a level changes your starting position is going to annihilate Tyler in the full game I can already tell.
dev here~ Funfact, we had to up the max babies counter by 2 in the demo because a player found 2 couples we had definitely not intended + the way to get them is absolutely devious 😭
I would think that it boils down to baiting a bunny into a hole every second level, which is cool on its own.

I'm getting the vibe that this game is going to become an Aliensrock classic series when the full release happnes. The puzzle difficulty is impressive, the meta possibilities in just the demo alone are already hurting my head, and Tyler's delight at discovering the layers of complexity is infectious. I hope it does well in the algorithm!

The bunnies on the deepest burrow are going to be eldritch looking hellbeasts and that will NOT stop Paquerette from calling them cute and capturing them.
I grabbed the demo myself and had a great time. Tyler missed a bunch of adult bunnies, and barely scratched on making baby bunnies. There's some really challenging hidden levels, and I had a blast doing them. So to anyone who reads this, if you're half decent at puzzle games, it's worth downloading the demo yourself.

Good puzzle game, lots of natural eureka moment, especially when you think "wait... there's NOTHING I can do..." "unless..."
the bunny AI is surprisingly intuitive to get a hang of
Really cool how simple it is for the most part but how much room there is for optimization in trying to get all the babies. Not only does that mean roughly half the levels require you to instead get a bunny in the hole instead of a dead end, but then the puzzle where the baby is actually created will be different too. Really fascinating concept, I might give this one a try once the full release comes out.

Edit: Tyler ends the video with 2 babies and 20 adults, but there's 29 adults in this demo, who know how many babies

The 'Lovers' lets you know that you can get baby bunnies. And once you find out that bunnies CAN fall into holes, suddenly you have so many possibilities to get baby bunnies.
There is also dialog from the NPC that tells you about baby bunnies.
Genuinely good puzzle design and cute aesthetics. Hope you bring this one back for a full series if/when it comes out, or if possible an all babies attempt might make for more content.
I feel like this game has the potential to become new Baba is you, so many possibilities for meta mechanics

Yeah, you hunt them down in their natural habitat. You catch them with cages. And you lock them up in an encloser.

what a great game making catching bunnies actually fun. catching bunnies irl is just frustrating because when you get them into a dead end they still manage to escape

Such simple mechanics yet so many possibilities. And also the freedom to move to another level with bunnies.
Feels much less stress than Baba is You and Can of Wormhole but just as much enjoyable!

What if you tried to get EVERY rabbit down the hole to the end for maximum babies by moving them in to the room you made the final baby in.
I assume the optimal strategy would be moving every second bunny, to pair them up.
@@alexholker1309 Actually, when Tyler had the one level where he brought the black bunny to the next area, he got a baby bunny there, but he also showed that he could get the bunny to the next floor. So it seems that there could be up to (number of bunnies choose 2) baby bunnies
Holy crap the possibilities of tracking multiple bunnies together to make even more babies.
I cannot wait to watch Tyler solve more bunny puzzles when the game is fully released!

You might want to make a part 2 for the demo. If you go up to the surface you can get a map and a few upgrades as well. The puzzles get a lot more complex than you might think, I still haven’t 100% it yet.
I know you are currently doing a bunch of different series, but it would be so cool to see you play wildfrost. The final game has much more than the demo, and it seems like you would enjoy it.

theres a lot more hidden stuff tyler missed... you can get a total of 29 bunnies and 10+ babies... hours later i stil cant even 100% the demo. theres 3 more floors under the elevator floor, and the last floor puzzle is impossible to me, was hoping that I can see tyler solve it but he didnt get to it :/

if this games doubles down on meta puzzles it has a really high potential to be a great puzzle game
I've played the demo and all I have to say is that Tyler has barely even scratched the surface. This is the spiritual successor to Corrypt I've wanted for years.

This meta stuff is kind of confusing. From what I understand, I think bunnies will teleport to their original level when you leave the level they're on, or maybe when you go to their original level? But if you catch them, they don't teleport anywhere.
I really was thinking is going to be those game where is cute but is sinister and become a psychological horror
The flexibility in this puzzle sandbox has me excited. Can we stack infinite bunnies? Can we use 3+ bunnies to make a dead end? Will we encounter bunnies with different sizes or behaviors? What are our dark designs in amaasing buns? How far down does this bunny hole go?
