Cheers man, you've been such a great friend and an inspiration. You helped me find my passion and pushed me to improve every step of the way. I'm sad to lose another League of Legends content legend but BEYOND excited for the next step of your journey and what you got cooking in the over for the future of the channel. We're behind you dude :)
Damn this video really hit home. So many good points and also reasons why I have also lost some motivation to grind on big videos. It’s just simply not worth it. Love you Skooch and hoping for the best of luck on your future content
it's not only an exe video it matters the person behind the video and his humor, style and more some are good, some are crazy some are funny what if this guy would make a not league related video? that would be fun (to see how it is)
As someone who has quit league about two years now I have to say that I'm glad that you see the issues too. I remember jumping in solo and actually having a lot of fun even with the other team. We would support each other even if it meant we lost the game, just because it was fun and meant nothing to us (as all games should). I wish league understood their main community will never be eSports based, and would strive to make them the happiest.
I feel like that's a lot of games now though unfortunately. Apex is currently in a dying shift because they keep making their game worse by only listening to their esports players. Smite has been stagnant and not doing do well partially because most balancing goes through the esports performance. Meanwhile their matchmaking decides to throw a bronze random against masters players. They gotta stop balancing things of the competitive scene because that's not the majority keeping the games alive
@@slaayerr1 yeah I agree with this. All these games I enjoyed are slowly killing themselves. It's rather sad that all I have left are the memories and I can relive those.
@@Jess-ug3ck yeah I think that's honestly why we have so much nostalgia with older games. We won't truly enjoy them now due to their simplicity but we miss the feeling we had where we could be content and happy with them even if they were simple games. Now everything is either broken, too time consuming, or the playerbase is extremely toxic lol
@@Jess-ug3ck Heck, we have a PERFECT example of a game that STILL thrives, and REFUSES TO DIE. And you know why? Because it's almost completely CASUAL. Do you know which game I talk about? It's Team Fortress 2. With one of the most creative, and fun-focused communities in gaming. There is no other game than Team Fortress 2 on the market, and even if Valve doesn't care about it really these days, people keep it going. TF2 is still in top 3-4 of most-played games on the Steam platform when it's creators are even willing to let it die. It's insane. Honestly using Team Fortress 2 model would help LoL as well. Pretty much leave lots of options for the community to play with. Give them the creative freedom to create their own product (like their own skins, etc.), that they may approve of and monetize anyway, and LoL will get a surge of players that will both love the game, and enjoy creativity of it.
I started playing league around the end of S4 and the beginning of S5, and that was the best time I had playing this game. I quit because I realized it will never go back to what it was anymore, it's just not the same game I used to love... I almost got kicked out of university because I couldn't stop playing during my first and second year. My grades, friendship, and social life suffered to the point where I cannot even recognize myself anymore. Moreover, my life was completely filled by playing league everyday for countless hours, and I was too embarrassed to tell anyone about my gaming addictions. I tried to quit by uninstalling the game quite a few times before, but it was only since June of 2020 when I managed to quit completely. On the day that I quit, I was so angry and frustrated that I lost countless ranked games in a row, to the point where I almost raged after I lost a couple of meaningless ARAM games just trying to win for once. I was no longer having fun but rather playing just because couple of friends who introduced me to the game were still playing. What really hit me was the sudden realization that I've put my blood and sweat over all these years, yet I was still hard stuck gold and couldn't win a single game that day no matter how hard I tried. I had never lost my mind like that before and I knew that I just couldn't take it anymore, so I deleted the game one last time for good. Since then, I haven't touched the game and I absolutely don't have any desire to play it again. I regretted wasting six years of precious time, life, and money on this game, and it's something that I can never get back. Looking back at it, I don't miss this game at all. It was simply one of the best decisions I've made as it changed my life completely. I became a much happier person, as I found my purpose and calling in life through my church. In terms of my career, I made the decision to pursue a career in education after I quit. More importantly, just a few months after I quit I met my girlfriend, and we have been dating for over a year now. Honestly, I don't think I would have gotten a girlfriend if I continued playing. Your life will be in a much better state when you stop wasting your money and time on something that's literally a virtual reward and data. Seriously guys life is just too valuable to continue to waste it on something like this... it's never too late to quit and turn your life around.
You know what’s fucked up? When I saw all the can we talk about this subjects fly by and the skit at the end I teared up just a little bit. Not enough to where you blink and it runs down your cheek but enough to get me excited for what’s gonna happen. Do whatever your heart desires skooch and your fans will follow. Even your skooch.mp3. Stay true to yourself king 💙
After you posted this I decided to take a break from the game. Haven't gone back and honestly I have felt so much better. Been playing ffxiv, an amazing community of people, and I think thats really what I wanted. Appreciate your content and will keep watching. Thanks for helping me take the step I needed to take in having this game play a much smaller role in my life.
that proves that pvp online bring worst out of you, me, and everyone that makes league of legends community so toxic because you stuck with shitty team for 15-20 min even worse it can last up to 30+ minutes! I playing ff14 absolutely chill and no rage at all
I don’t follow you and did not know who you are but this video touched me man. I was a league fan since season 2 and am sad at the state of the game and also the esports scene, you captured a lot of the issues really well. Good luck on your new chapter, You’ve earned a new fan!
I am not sure how 'fun' this video was for me but it interesting sure! There are lots of things stated in the video which I miss since I started played league in season 2. But I do agree the video is wholesome... and nostalgic
Glad to see that someone else feels the same. I've moved from league since the start of this year but always checked back in on your content because it always made me laugh :) Glad to see that youve found what makes you happy and I'll continue to support your channel as im sure youll make great stuff from here on out. Good luck!
Honestly, I discovered you about a year ago with league and loved watching those videos. Last night my friend showed me your reality of VR video and I just finished watching this one. (Ik, watching these in a weird order) But I would really just like to say that I’m excited that you’re checking out so many other games and VR included. I hope you have a wonderful time exploring what it has to offer and I’m happy that you’ve said such kind things about vrc. It’s a huge community, but in terms of real world population, we’re still small. So it makes me have hope that others are starting to discover and explore what vrc really is. Best of luck to you with the new games and content. I’ll be sure to keep watching and I’ll try to make a stream sometime. Hopefully I’ll see you in VR one day! o/
When Dunky stopped making League content, he started producing the greatest variety content on the entire platform. You're gonna be great, Skooch. I'll be here for it.
Same goes for Barny (formerly known as Keyori) and even Uberdanger. Their latest videos, although a rare occurance, a so much better than the more frequently pumped out League videos of old
That's cus league is ass nowadays lol. Champs are way too annoying and it's something the community has complained about for years and riot has continuously ignored. Now rito has an overcomplicated heap of garbage in their hands that's too complex for new players to get into (one of the main edges they had over dota) and too stale for older players to want to stick around.
22:26 “I promise I’m going to do everything in my power to earn your respect elsewhere” You already had it Skooch. May this next era be something that we can all talk about forever
When I was playing League, and watched the UA-cam content I enjoyed start dying or not being made, I thought I'd never find more stuff like it. That's when I got recommended your first "Can We Talk About This?". That nicely filled in a bit of the hole so much of League content disappearing had left. In 2020, I did decide to just stop playing League, so 2 years after that, it's interesting to see you doing the same. I wish you much luck with all your future endeavors!
Same. I followed so many fun league related accounts like Kshway, but eventually it just got lacklustre, my interest in League died and I started unsubscribing to the accounts because I no longer watched their content.
What a nice video man. Me and my friends have stopped playing as well before the big parched dropped and it was mainly doing missions or trying out the new game mode. So I can understand what you mean. Has helped me get into editing and created some memories. I still love watching your content no matter what Skooch.
I started playing back when Jinx was released. I remember watching her music video and I was obsessed! Thanks to league I met my husband and we now have a son together. I will forever be grateful, but like Skooch, I too, am saddened by how much league has changed. To me, it's like watching an old friend change and grow distant with me. I no longer have fun like I use to back when league was for the players. It aches my heart but I have also decided to quit league. I will always be thankful for what it brought to me and the doors it opened, but like a family member on their deathbed, I can only say I loved you and let them pass. Goodbye league, may you continue to thrive wherever you go as you become a fond memory in my heart.
Do you want to me to be here to tell you that league has changed (if it does one day). I stopped playing league two years ago and now only am in it for its content. Goodbye
I liked the "Can we talk about this?" series because of your humor and creativity and it just happening to be tied to something I used to obsess over. If that humor and creativity continues, I think you will be alright. Hope you have a good Christmas and happy new year.
Love you Skooch! Your videos were my last connection to League, I stopped playing years ago and just love this series so much I had to keep watching (that and bronze theory-crafting). My favorite game-modes were twisted treeline and dominion. When they went away, I tried to get into ranked solo-queue because there was pretty much nothing else and I had absolutely no fun for hours on end. Congratulations on leaving League and I can't wait to see more of the content you want to make :)
Seriously. He really summed up why this game went from joking about hating it and wondering why I’d waste my time, to actually wondering why I bother. My play time has gone down of the ranked and afk/int situation. And basically the only original or not just stream highlight videos are dwindling on life support.
Same.... its sat to see it's current state, I wish they would go back, but the passion for the game the devs once had is lost. It's now just a boring, sweaty tryhard fest, even in normal games. No one is allowed to have fun in LoL anymore.
Best of luck to you homie! It's been an immense privilege to be your former editor and current friend for these past few years. Your creativity and zeal truly knows no bounds and I cannot wait to see what you come up with next.
I just wanna say thanks skooch gor this video. Your content as always been amongst my favorite and yes at first i mostly watched you for your League vids i will say i also enjoyed your side content like your fall guys video and even your non gameplay video where you just talked about stuff. Ive also been having an on and off experience with league but after watching your video i think im also ready to move to something else other games or maybe even make games games of my own if i can. So thank you for all this amazing years of league content and im hyped to see what you come up with next
How bittersweet is this. I got into league of legends about 8 years ago because my friends wanted to play it with me. They quickly left me to play other games and I got stuck playing it because I was still new and it was fun. Years later I still play it and kinda live through youtube content to validate my opinions and have a laugh caused I don't really have anyone to talk about current league with but one other person. I'm sad to see you go Skooch but even happier that you're going to make content on things that you love! The spark isn't there anymore and that definitely happens! If someone like me can stick around then I'm sure others will too! And if not who needs them! Grow with the fans who love you not the ones who use you.
Something I've realized is that whilst league was a common interest that brought me to your channel and content, your personality, jokes and editing are what kept me here. Your non league content is fantastic and I'm super excited to see what's next. 😁
4 months after my initial viewing of this video, I also marked my official 2 weeks of not playing LOL, the first week was tough as I felt like just going in it playing for the sake of playing while not feeling any enjoyment, the second week was when I played the many games that I left unfinished, felt amazing and I was reminded that video games can actually be fun and enjoyable. Thank you Skooch, looking forward to the next (perhaps indie game) video
well spoken Skooch. i myself joined your community because of the glorious league content back in the day, now i have quit league for sometime now, but stayed for the amazing content you always share with us and this is the feelings of many and many of your supporters, looking forward for more of your banger content! cheers :)
Honestly sir, it was nice having you around but you deserve some good rest from the toxicity. Wish you the best sir, I'll look forward to your non-league content o7
Been thinking about the same thing for a while now Skooch. You've really put this into perspective for how ive been feeling about the same game over so many years. Plus - You've got yourself a new Subscriber for the use of the Breath Of Fire Music!
After almost 11 years of playing the game I was thinking this for the last 2 seasons. This video was so good that it literally made me cry. Thank you skooch
Glad to see you're branching out. I've quit league of legends years ago, but you've always been on my timeline, and your videos are always a joy to watch, no matter the topic. Thank you Skooch.
hey skooch I just wanna say when I found you it was through league content and I've watched nearly every one of those videos since I only got into league about a year ago, but you are genuinely just such a fun person to watch and I watched not only for the league content but because you are just so funny and enjoyable to watch with whatever you're doing man. you became one of my favorite content creators and I'll be sure to stay around even though you won't be creating league content anymore
Well said well said. I used to love league. The characters, the lore, the friends i made through it and the mad amounts of fun we had. But it just... isnt the same. I used to force all my friends to play league and literally recommend it to anyone i pass on the street. But now? I dont even dare talk about it in public because im so ashamed of what my teen years favorite community and beloved fandom has become... feelssobadman
I've only been playing League for two years and even I'm getting fatigued with all the changes and even the general feel of the game is getting on my nerves and wearing me down. Like it says a lot when you can't even play draft, blind pick or any non-ranked mode without people try-harding and sweating.
@@BrightWulph in the beginning it was so great. Meta constantly shifted organically with little input from riot, community wasn’t trash yet. I can’t even play a single game without uninstalling afterwards. I could be 12-0, 20-0, 0-12 and my game satisfaction is always negative. Can’t even play with friends, if we aren’t winning nobody is having fun or joking around. If we are winning, probably still not fun.
@@FormerGovernmentHuman Yeah, I blame e-sports tbh. Riot now only cares about the game being balanced for super competitive players, while also still banking in the ever dwindling casual player base to buy skins. XO I can certainly see what you mean about organic changes, cause none of the changes I've seen in just two years feels organic. They feel forced and artificial, with nothing really changing. Certain champions and items will always be "meta", no matter how much Riot "tweaks" the numbers. XO
You have no idea how much I needed to hear this, after someone very important decided to part ways with me, I feel like wading through water sometimes getting used to the change. However, every now and then, someone throws me a life float to help the journey a little better.. Thank you skooch, you've already earned my respect, and I hope that one day, I can get over these negative chains that bind me and do many fun things with you and many other content creators like I've dreamed about. Thank you for inspiring me to dream once more, and that change doesn't have to be negative.
'Better times there were and will be again.' Cheer up my friend, we're with you in this journey u want to do. Go where ur heart tells u to and bring us with u. In the meantime, we will - I think at least - keep u updated on what's happening on this awelsome game, hoping one day or in one season this situation will change in better.
Damn man, you said it better than I ever could. I’ve been struggling with letting this game go too. Been playing since a month before shyvanna was released and it’s been a fun part of my life.. but it’s so focused on ranked and like you said the creativity is gone.. all they care about is skins and esports… it’s really sad but I think I wanna start giving it up too and you’ve inspired me
While it's saddening to see you go, I have nothing but high hopes for the future of your channel. Been a mostly quiet fan for awhile now so I know your non-League content is just as good if not better! Thanks for everything, and I can't wait to see what comes next!
A video i can agree with. Since s1 im here and i feel you with every single word you said. Thanks for having the courage to stand up and tell the world your opinion! Thank you so much to get alot of people out of the drain :)
Skooch, it’s been an honor watching you for however many months or years it’s been. You’ve inspired me to make my own channel (not this account lol) and that I should focus on making what makes me happy. You shouldn’t be afraid to step into something new, and i can’t wait to keep watching your superb content!
Good luck with all the things in your future men, I subscribed your channel mostly because league of legends, but I love even the not League of legends moments and I'm glad you're doing this for yourself more than for your public, meaning that only the true people who care about YOU will stay with you till the end, like me. So keep going man, You're one of my favorites and I'm happy that you'll make the content that you will enjoy making.
I feel so happy for you man, I love the passion you show for this game and will for sure watch your content even if there is no league in it, I feel very much the same. League is now a way too competetetive for my taste game. I grew up with it, I made some crazy friendships there, I squiggled with joy and excitement for the new champions, maps and lore updates. I loved this game and a part of it will always stay with me, but overtime it stopped being this game that I loved. It's important to know when to let go of the things and I completely understand your decision and it makes me feel more encouraged to not come back to league, I hope you find the excitement you once felt for this game in other ones.
Man its crazy, been watching skooch for well past 5 years now and even though I quit league back in 2018 he was still the way I got my fill. Im glad hes gonna be happy though and im excited to see what else hes gonna do with his channel since his personality is amazing.
Been watching your videos since you've done league and I will continue to watch your videos. I've always liked your content and I have no reason to believe I wont like in the future, good luck and I can't wait to see your next video!
I cried and laughed in the end. Amazing. And the 9-5 job bit hit me so hard. I didn’t know that I was living through that bit, unaware!! Thanks for reminding me, respect.
It's been a ride man, you have helped me through so many down times and a lot of your videos were so fun to watch. The future should be bright, not filled with sadness. Good luck Skooch and god speed.
I applaud your bravery. League has been the staple that defined your content, and moving away from it definitely is a big change, but also a very good one. I'm happy for you Skooch and i hope this decision brings you the joy you deserve, I'll definitely be there.
Skooch, thank you for making a good videos about League Of Legends. You introduced me to wild community that league has from tryhard player to nice player. So now I just wondering what is your next videos I can't wait to see what bangers of comedy you have on the shelf. And again Thank you.
Been playing league since season 3 on and off. And the best time I had was when I was playing just normal games with my friends having a blast. It was honestly the best time of my life. 7+ years later and the game has become nothing but a souless vessle of what it once was.. I miss the old days of queueing up playing whatever, and just having fun. Not caring whether we win or loose. Now I have become dull to this "new game" that has taken its place and find no joy in it. Thank you Skooch for providing one of the best content League had to offer. You have made me laugh so many times I cannot even recount. Keep up the work man life is what it is and we continue on. Godspeed to you my friend!✊
I feel you on this decision, I've considered quitting the game numerous times, only playing it casually, and sometimes even for fun modes doesn't give me much enjoyment in this game. I guess that there will always be time to leave the game, and some day rediscover it. You picked your own time to leave the game, some of us might leave it later. But your content will always stay with us for the good memories.
I'm proud of another one of us getting out of the machine. Proud of you skooch and for what you've done for the community and just being a rad positive guy. I cannot wait to see what sick content you have planned. P.S. Also your earrings are always so sick and I'm envious everytime I see em 😂
Tbh, I feel you’re a great content creator, I really love watching all your work, no matter what it is. I originally started watching your channel through CWTAT, but I think I’ve honestly never played more than a dozen hours of LoL in my life. I spent more time watching your videos about LoL, tbh. I just feel the way you present information is hilarious and engaging. And I’m really glad you’re moving forward with content that you enjoy making more. I really liked your recent 1 hour roguelike challenge, for example. Thanks for all the great content, and for your commitment to quality work.
After watching your content for years and finally actually getting into League around the start of the year. I’m sad to see you leave the League space but regardless where you go I’ll still be watching. You’ve always made enjoyable content and have been fun to watch stream. Cheers to another year of content and many more.
I felt sad that you're quitting league, just when I wanted to get back to it while being inspired with your content. But I feel happy with all of the "can we talk about this" episodes coming! We'll be here skooch, rallying behind your back, cheering you on!
You really opened my eyes skooch, i remember when the most funny thing there was in my whole day was turning on the pc and start a game with my friends, when i could just build 6 frozen heart on a random champion and makr my friends laught and that would make my day, i'll miss this game
See you on the next big release of anything new in league! Jokes aside, Good luck on your new journey, as someone who's not only been a part of, but was there at the very foundation in preseason 1, i can only agree, League has changed, drastically so, i have played, every, single, season, and never once gave a damn about ranked (the first 4 season, i think played 10 ranked games total), and league is far from what i originally fell in love with. I will keep playing, but i hope that u will once again scooch find a passion that can rival the previous passion u must have felt for league once upon a time. Best of luck on ur journey, looking forward to the videos u will put out :D
It's not an ending it's a transition. Thanks for the years of league and I can't wait for the change. I look forward to new can we talk about this! Great ending by the way. Was very funny.
That ending was amazing. I can't wait to see where you go in the future, I've been around for a long long time, and honestly I feel like even though we never met, we outgrew league at the same time in our own ways. Its nice seeing you keep focused on making things you enjoy making, and playing games you enjoy playing
Skooch, I love you, I love your content! I did mainly watch you for league, but that wasn’t because I just liked your league content it is because you’re one of the only league content creators who made fun content and obviously I’ll be joining in on more Streams as well as keeping the bell icon on so I know what other games your are talking about. Also know that even if you don’t play league for content anymore I would love to see you holding custom follower games.
I knew this video would happen some day. League is just not a game that everyone's going to keep playing for forever. It just isn't the same as a BR or any other multiplayer game, no. It's special in the way that everyone WILL quit someday for their own reasons and a new player will turn up in their stead. But cheers to you brother, you're one of my favorite content creators on the net, you'll soar without League! Edit: You, Sunnysplosion, and Trinimmortal carry LoL content for me. I don't even play but you guys are so entertaining, even when not playing it, I just like watching y'all.
@@chrismarple I mean the same happens to mobas as well. A lot of people can't be asked to learn that crap. Let's face it, league is only around because it got shat out during a time when there weren't other mobas and a lot of people had nostalgia and too much playtime to just drop it. You release league around now looking and playing how it does and it would have died instantly.
That's how literally any online game works. League is actually special in this way that it manages to keep its players for suprisingly long (mostly because it's just addicting)
This video encapsulates my feelings about League in the last two or three years. I've been watching your content off-and-on for the last few months by recommendations and they've been wonderful quality videos! (They've even provided me joy in dark times.) Please do whatever that makes you feel comfortable, because I'll gladly subscribe for your future content.
Your content has been my favorite of all League of Legends creators for over a year, and I appreciate everything you’ve done and tried in the pursuit of making videos on it. I love your stream and can’t wait to see you introduce more variety to your content.
I don't think it's a surprise at all, man. And honestly I've been wondering and hoping this exact video would come out for awhile. My Fiance and I love watching your videos for YOU and both of us have just left the passion die for League. I can't wait for chapter 2. On another note, I totally relate to feeling the passion for League die. I'm honestly choking up thinking about it because the game I knew for over almost a decade has been lost completely and it feels like losing a friend. I personally have felt this throughout all of gaming and it's genuinely effected my life in ways I never thought it ever could. Losing a hobby because you just don't like it anymore is one thing, but losing a hobby because it changed into something you hate is an insane experience.
When I used to watch alot of your vids in 2022, I have thought you would change your content sooner or later. There was a certain tone about it that made me think this, idk what it was but I knew it was coming. Glad you eventually decided to change since I then have a lot more to look forward too. Hope you will do well if I am no longer around though, since I won't have time to watch every single one that comes out.
Man.. i am happy to see you overcomed it, i still play the game with friends only and i have accepted what happened to it, i started playing the past year in summer.. While yes i get a bit frustrated the goofy moments i get with my friends are priceless and make me be able to be ""calm"" but i have accepted months ago that one day, i'll abandon it
Good for you skooch. My friends got me into league in season 8 and most of them left, but even when they're gone I still have good memories of the game
I'm glad to hear it. Your comedy interwoven about a topic you're really knowledgeable about is extremely entertaining to watch, and you make a lot of relevant points. Problem was I stopped playing and watching league content. I would occasionally watch your stuff when it would pop into my recommended, but it would always mess up my youtube view with LoL content so I haven't been watching as much. Looking forward to your takes on other IPs I know, and hopefully on IPs I don't know.
I'm honestly super excited for the content pivot. I've been a fan of the channel for years despite not really caring about league just cause your stuff is so good
Been watching you since 2017 right before you started popping off. I remember watching the 1st sets of "can we talk about this" and would always make me laugh. Thanks for making great league of legends content and you'll be remembered as one of the greats with margikarp bricky and darkmane. And thank you for making dinner at my college food court more enjoyable!
I don’t know how you did it, but you always managed to bring such a fresh air of fun and excitement to a game I had considered stale for some while. Even getting me and my friends to reinstall it a few times. So if you can do that with league, I’m so excited to see what else you have in store for us. Thanks for always brightening up my day with your bizarre and loopy content. Love you Skooch! ❤
i only really watched your league videos because that was the only thing i got in my recommended. quitting league is a pretty hard thing to do especially if you're addicted to the game like me and always come back to it. ill be sure to check out your other content. thanks for making interesting league content
As Skooch leave League, I will stay in Silver top lane, like a captain going down with the ship 🫡 Thank you for your content Skooch. You’ve helped me so much and provided so much joy to my life.
I knew this was a long time coming and tbh I have been looking forward to this day. You have such great talent and I have been wanting to see your views on other games because it will be hilarious. I welcome this change and look forward to your future. God bless.
Very well made video. I have greatly enjoyed your content and am happily looking forward to your new creations. League of legends was some of the most fun I had with my friends in college and helped introduce me to most of them. We are thankfully all able to play together in other games and activities now. I hope you will get to experience something similar.
I found your channel because of League content, but I subscribed because you make me laugh. I honestly barely play League anymore either, but I'm obsessed with the setting and the lore. Can't wait to see what this next chapter brings for you. We'll all be here to watch it!
you were one of my favorite league content creators and i can’t wait to see the other stuff you’ll put out now that you’ve turned to variety! i personally enjoyed your minecraft videos since they were so fun to watch, and i am excited to see more of your passion and personality in the games and things you care about since that’s what i subscribed for in the first place :’D
ngl i still hope that you might make content about league’s champions, lore, and storytelling even when you don’t play the game anymore, since it’s the world of league that i loved the most from your content and in general, rather than the actual gameplay :’]
You got my support man, iv been slowly but surely quitting league I can't feel the fun I used too and funny enough I mostly play tft can't wait for season 2 of "can we talk about this"
I like your content because you found the fun in a game that had way more downs than ups in all the aspects you mentioned, and the fact that you’re gonna make content on already fun, good, or even bad games in general is really exciting, cuz you never disappoint no matter what. Keep up the amazing work.
I lived long enough from your LOL beginnings to the end. New frontiers ma bro, best of luck. Cant say i did not see it coming, i am waiting for your take on rito mmo one day :D
To be honest, I'm happy for you to break the chains of LoL. I've gotten to a point where I only enjoy LoL content in moderation or playing while drunk, so it's definitely been a waning interest for me too. I will be looking out for more CWTAT content, but probably dabble in some other content as well (maybe a stream every once in a while). Best of luck.
Here comes the *boy* hello boy welcome
i dread the day that you ,sunny and pat leave too. god. that is enough to make me forget what happiness means
The day you and sunny finally give up is the day league content is truly dead.
I'll admit, I was looking forward to his Camille and Riven videos, but I do still like his other videos.
League sucks so its good for him.
Damn this video really hit home. So many good points and also reasons why I have also lost some motivation to grind on big videos. It’s just simply not worth it. Love you Skooch and hoping for the best of luck on your future content
yo dumbs ily :D
I completely feel that. Best of luck for both of you!
Dumbs he uploads like once a year, dumbs... More like, ****.
No clue if you'll ever reply to this but...
Have you thought about doing videos on different pieces of content that's not League related?
it's not only an exe video
it matters the person behind the video and his humor, style and more
some are good, some are crazy some are funny
what if this guy would make a not league related video? that would be fun (to see how it is)
As someone who has quit league about two years now I have to say that I'm glad that you see the issues too. I remember jumping in solo and actually having a lot of fun even with the other team. We would support each other even if it meant we lost the game, just because it was fun and meant nothing to us (as all games should). I wish league understood their main community will never be eSports based, and would strive to make them the happiest.
Couldn't have said it better myself.
That's exactly me right now
You know what’s fucked up? When I saw all the can we talk about this subjects fly by and the skit at the end I teared up just a little bit. Not enough to where you blink and it runs down your cheek but enough to get me excited for what’s gonna happen. Do whatever your heart desires skooch and your fans will follow. Even your skooch.mp3. Stay true to yourself king 💙
That Outer Wilds OST always tries to drain the tear ducts
Came for league, but I stayed for you man
Looking forward to everything you'll do in the future!
It’s really sad to see you drop the game, especially as someone just getting into the game at a for fun level, but I’ll be sure to stay around!
Get out before it’s too late.
Don't do it, don't get into the game
Best thing you can do is just watch league. Dont play it, its a deep hole that u will most likely never get out of
damn it we failed to save another one
fun in this game is dying on a fast level already
I really hate "I'm quitting League" videos in general but you managed to make this one so fun and wholesome, I friggin love it
I am not sure how 'fun' this video was for me but it interesting sure! There are lots of things stated in the video which I miss since I started played league in season 2. But I do agree the video is wholesome... and nostalgic
My bad. I didn't watch the end part before I commented. That was not just interesting funny, but 'funny ha ha' XD
Amen
why do you hate it. it's a good thing.
I personally find it good because the respective youtubers kinda "owe" it to their community to tell them about complete content turnarounds
Glad to see that someone else feels the same. I've moved from league since the start of this year but always checked back in on your content because it always made me laugh :)
Glad to see that youve found what makes you happy and I'll continue to support your channel as im sure youll make great stuff from here on out.
Ya it always seems like when people branch out they produce better content.
Same goes for Barny (formerly known as Keyori) and even Uberdanger. Their latest videos, although a rare occurance, a so much better than the more frequently pumped out League videos of old
Bricks is doing well even if he wasn’t making lol videos anymore. I’m sure you’ll do well too skooch
0:52 His monologue here is almost word for word the intro to Dunky's "I'm quitting League" video lol
22:26 “I promise I’m going to do everything in my power to earn your respect elsewhere”
You already had it Skooch. May this next era be something that we can all talk about forever
Minecraft
Goodbye
Blame Tencent and ESG.
I feel this almost to the dot
Jinx made me start playing this game too! Found her music video on 4chan and I was like "This is frickin badass. I need to play this game!".
Heh same boat we've been going for 10 years now
I liked the "Can we talk about this?" series because of your humor and creativity and it just happening to be tied to something I used to obsess over. If that humor and creativity continues, I think you will be alright. Hope you have a good Christmas and happy new year.
Your casual outlook on the game has been an inspiration and has completely changed the way I see the game! Thank you Skooch!
I truly miss the era of the content you and the Karp crew made. You nailed how I feel about LOL. Came for the League content staying for the creator.
That zeal reference tho 😩👌
I just wanna say thanks skooch gor this video. Your content as always been amongst my favorite and yes at first i mostly watched you for your League vids i will say i also enjoyed your side content like your fall guys video and even your non gameplay video where you just talked about stuff. Ive also been having an on and off experience with league but after watching your video i think im also ready to move to something else other games or maybe even make games games of my own if i can. So thank you for all this amazing years of league content and im hyped to see what you come up with next
You go man! Happy to see you making the decision that makes you the most happy! Good luck with the new content I’ll be with you the whole way.
"The spark isn't there anymore..."
Zeri: 🤨
@@veryfewfriends haha good one
Skoochy, its not the 1st of April yet! I hate this so much! I want Nexus Blitz and Ascension back!
I saw your vids twice but honestly this one was so good hahah good luck in the new year and the new direction of your channel!
Been thinking about the same thing for a while now Skooch. You've really put this into perspective for how ive been feeling about the same game over so many years.
Plus - You've got yourself a new Subscriber for the use of the Breath Of Fire Music!
Rip to one of the best eras of league, let's his brilliance shine on other games
Nah the best era has died in 2020 at the latest
XO
I can certainly see what you mean about organic changes, cause none of the changes I've seen in just two years feels organic.
You'll get through this Mr. Pepsi Man o7
Been playing since a month before shyvanna was released and it’s been a fun part of my life.. but it’s so focused on ranked and like you said the creativity is gone.. all they care about is skins and esports… it’s really sad but I think I wanna start giving it up too and you’ve inspired me
Did you manage to do it mate?
While it's saddening to see you go, I have nothing but high hopes for the future of your channel. Been a mostly quiet fan for awhile now so I know your non-League content is just as good if not better! Thanks for everything, and I can't wait to see what comes next!
As another quiet fan I second this motion.
I turd this motion
As someone who legitimately didn’t like league but only watched for your personality I’m so excited for the future content. Good luck Skooch ❤
A video i can agree with.
Since s1 im here and i feel you with every single word you said.
Thanks for having the courage to stand up and tell the world your opinion!
Thank you so much to get alot of people out of the drain :)
i was dreading this vid and still am, i will miss the LoL content but am glad you're moving on to smthg that's fun to you
I ain't here for League, I'm here for Skooch. I'm excited to see what comes next man.
I'm not gonna miss PNG Skooch, because he will still be with us.
Man its crazy, been watching skooch for well past 5 years now and even though I quit league back in 2018 he was still the way I got my fill. Im glad hes gonna be happy though and im excited to see what else hes gonna do with his channel since his personality is amazing.
😭😭❤️
Skooch thanks for bringing us joy
Hope to see more new content
After watching your content for years and finally actually getting into League around the start of the year. I’m sad to see you leave the League space but regardless where you go I’ll still be watching. You’ve always made enjoyable content and have been fun to watch stream. Cheers to another year of content and many more.
I felt sad that you're quitting league, just when I wanted to get back to it while being inspired with your content. But I feel happy with all of the "can we talk about this" episodes coming! We'll be here skooch, rallying behind your back, cheering you on!
Very excited to see your next chapter, as always looking forward to the next one!
You really opened my eyes skooch, i remember when the most funny thing there was in my whole day was turning on the pc and start a game with my friends, when i could just build 6 frozen heart on a random champion and makr my friends laught and that would make my day, i'll miss this game
I am really happy you moving on, and beyond excited for season 2, I love when this series covers broader topics, can’t wait to see what ya do!
I'm SO hyped for CWTAT season 2! Thanks for everything you've done over the years Skooch, can't wait to see where you go from here!
Heya skooch! , i just started playing league of legends, your content is really fun and inspired me to start a new game , thanks!
Most people quit br games after a month if not a week
@@chrismarple I mean the same happens to mobas as well. A lot of people can't be asked to learn that crap. Let's face it, league is only around because it got shat out during a time when there weren't other mobas and a lot of people had nostalgia and too much playtime to just drop it. You release league around now looking and playing how it does and it would have died instantly.
br are the most dogshit type of game out there
That's how literally any online game works. League is actually special in this way that it manages to keep its players for suprisingly long (mostly because it's just addicting)
Someone like Tobias Fate is a good source of content
This video encapsulates my feelings about League in the last two or three years. I've been watching your content off-and-on for the last few months by recommendations and they've been wonderful quality videos! (They've even provided me joy in dark times.) Please do whatever that makes you feel comfortable, because I'll gladly subscribe for your future content.
Looking forward to the different content, been looking for a game as good as old league for years, so I really hope you find it.
Can't wait to see you play other games, have loved your videos, will continue to love and enjoy them
Your content has been my favorite of all League of Legends creators for over a year, and I appreciate everything you’ve done and tried in the pursuit of making videos on it.
I've been a fan of the channel for years despite not really caring about league just cause your stuff is so good
I always find myself going to back to watch the golden days of this era of videos. It's sad, but that's life
Been watching you since 2017 right before you started popping off.
That rocky quote OMG lol was hilarious. Thank you for everything you have done for all of us. Amazing content
As Skooch leave League, I will stay in Silver top lane, like a captain going down with the ship 🫡 Thank you for your content Skooch. You’ve helped me so much and provided so much joy to my life.
Gragas or Gangplank?
I knew this was a long time coming and tbh I have been looking forward to this day. You have such great talent and I have been wanting to see your views on other games because it will be hilarious. I welcome this change and look forward to your future.
God bless.
Yo skooch! Just subscribed, watched about 4 of your videos, and it's the best editing I've seen.
You got my support man, iv been slowly but surely quitting league I can't feel the fun I used too and funny enough I mostly play tft can't wait for season 2 of "can we talk about this"
It’s been a journey! Good luck soldier and always remember, gl hf!
I like your content because you found the fun in a game that had way more downs than ups in all the aspects you mentioned, and the fact that you’re gonna make content on already fun, good, or even bad games in general is really exciting, cuz you never disappoint no matter what. Keep up the amazing work.
you were my source of joy in this game. I quit a while ago but I still watched you. you are amazing, I can't wait to see what else you do
I lived long enough from your LOL beginnings to the end.
You’ve been a huge inspiration to me. Wishing you the best of luck for the future, can’t wait to see what you have in store
