The old bearings are made of copper which is bad for saltwater, but with the new bearings will it be more ideal for saltwater and what else would need to be upgraded?
factory bearings are SS not copper so they are just fine for salt water.. Boca makes a specific salt water safe ceramic hybrid bearing, but I havent seen any issues with the ones Ive been installing into customer reels..
Does the bearing swap affect which DC setting is used for a given line? I recently purchased a Curado DC, but haven’t used it yet, so I was just curious how the freer flowing bearings impact the digital system.
Will these fit the Curado 200HG dc was looking to change mine with either spool speed or the roca bearings but can’t find if they fit the dc reel thanks great job
@@skeeterboy77 this reel is brand new I’ve got a Lews tournament speed spool and it outcast the Shimano every time and seems smother casting to just wanting to know if it’s going to benefit changing in your opinion is it worth it

Why didn't you change the support bearing underneath the bearing you changed by the spool tension?
