Me and a friend were arguing about which is better, magnetic or centrifugal brakes. I said of course magnetic because there's literally no friction unlike centrifugal. So who's right?

So I did a recent Boca swap with my Met 15 DC and I felt like I lost distance from it. Same rod, line, crankbait, and conditions. Idk if the DC system acts differently with ceramic bearings vs. ss. Any thoughts?

Shimano uses the best bearings,abec 7 orange seal bearings are not an upgrade,but ceramic bearings are!
