A Reverie in the Moon Palace

If you don’t know this, the way she is dressed and how her hair is styled looks similar to the Chinese moon goddess: Chang’e.
No matter how far
apart we are
we both look on high
to the same moon in the sky
-I wrote this for You 老师节快乐! thanks for teaching us all about Chinese culture!

You are such a caring parent,May God bless your family always.😇
I have been celebrating Moon Day since I was a little girl. As a child, my mother would take us to Fong;s Bakery to get the boxes of mooncakes to prepare our visitation days to our relatives. We would deliver and have tea with them. We would honor our elders.
Ally's haircut is so cute just like Yutu's in dramas, so lovely.
This is how many girls with style their hair in China’s history 😊

Qing dynasty is not Chinese..but Manchu.
Qing was nomadic and their invasion of China where they are not the representation of the Han chinese who they have oppressed the chinese during their reign especially the Hanfu where they have banned them for wearing the costume...Revive Hanfu ....
Wow...😍
When is the next video coming? I don't want to put pressure on you, but I really love your videos. Hope you're going to make some more interesting videos, since there's a lot to learn about chinese culture.
皓月闪烁,星光闪耀,中秋佳节,美满快乐!
海上生明月,天涯共此时
Love your hair!💜💙
And your outfit. Lovely. Do you do them yourself, have a tailor or you buy them?
Thank you! I do my own hair and makeup. The hanfu outfits are mostly bought from store on Taobao, with a few exceptions. This skirt I wore for example is custom made by a tailor in China. And the outer layer skirt is actually from H&M ;)
Oh I just noticed that you’re dressed up as Chang e right?
@@FiveThousandYears Hanfu costume they are elegant and beautiful and hopefully the Han chinese are proud of their costume and to wear them during their major festivals from Lunar New Year, Mid Autumn Festival, their wedding etc etc ...

That is the only time you can get mooncakes, right?
Funny I have never heard of the "Moon Festival". Is that what foreigners call it? I was born in China and it's always called 中秋節 or Mid-Autumn Festival.
Same, I have always heard Mid-Autumn Festival only
5000 years of continuous civilization no foreign culture could crush the chinese strong culture anyway.
I celebrate that lol
